SO here it is. Another chapter. Well it while be a while before I get another chapter going. Lost of lost time ahead of me.

Artemis shushed Amelia and they embraced each other quietly crying releasing all of the confusion and anxiety they had before.

The mom and daughter sat there in each other embrace, before pulling away.

"Thanks for everything." Thalia said quietly.

Percy just shook his head.

"You never have to thank me for anything." Percy said.

The two just continued to sit in silence enjoying each other company.

"So, what now mom?" Amelia asked Artemis.

"Well, you can go and stay at my cabin. And if you like you can join the hunters." Artemis said looking outside.

Amelia just sat there quietly. Artemis tuned to look at her with curiosity and concern.

Speaking up after a moment Amelia said, "I…I don't know if I want to join yet. I still want to experience other things. I… I hope that is alright, mom." Amelia started to fidget a bit waiting for Artemis reply.

Artemis just sat there, not moving. Trying to figure out how to answer.

"Alright Amelia. Just know, if you ever make up your mind I am there for you. The hunters will be at the camp for a month." Artemis said smiling.

"Thanks mom." Amelia said before hugging Artemis again.

It was that scene that Percy and Thalia walked into. Both had a happy smile at the scene.

When Amelia let go, she saw that there was company. Blushing, Amelia looked away while Percy and Thalia laughed.

"Thalia could you show Amelia to the cabin. And explain the situation to the girls." Artemis ordered.

Thalia nodded and motion Amelia to come with her stuff that Percy carried in.

"Percy, could you stay I like to talk to you." Artemis said.

"Of course Artemis. What's up?" Percy said taking a sit on the porch with Artemis.

"Tell me. What was it like growing up in the mortal world?" Artemis asked looking at the moon.

Surprised by the question Percy took a moment to think before realization hit him.

"Artemis, I'm not the best to person to ask that. My childhood was hard with that bastard of a step-father. But if this is about Amelia. Then I can guarantee you, that she was loved and well taken care of with my mom and step-dad, Paul." Percy said looking at Artemis.

Artemis smiled, it was well known how much Percy loved his mom and step-dad. Both were some of the best mortals the gods know.

"Thank you, it relieves me that she was raised by your family… But what worries me, is that I don't know how she came to be." Artemis said frowning.

Percy nodded looking towards the sky.

"Sometime it is best not to know. The only thing we can do right now is enjoy the moment." Percy said.

After a moment of silence. Artemis started to laugh. Percy got a confuse look trying to figure what she was laughing at.

After Artemis had calmed down. Percy asked, "What was so funny?"

"I-it's just that, I never thought I hear such a philosophical advice from you." Artemis said.

"Hey, it's not all seaweed in here." Percy said in a mock offended tone.

The just laugh at that and continue to enjoy the each other company.

The morning sun came in from the window waking up Percy. Sitting up slowly Percy looked up at the ceiling.

Remembering his talk with Artemis Percy just smiled knowing that he was probably the first man who was friends with the man hatting goddess. Going outside after his morning routine, Percy heads straight for Artemis cabin.

"I just wanted to let you know. I'm going to check on Amelia." Thought Percy which was sent to Artemis.

"It's alright Percy. You should know by now. You are the only male I trust." Artemis said back.

Knocking on the door. Percy waited a moment.

The door was answered by a huntress that Percy didn't know.

"What do you want boy?" The huntress said making a disgusted look.

Percy just ignored this knowing this was the initial reaction most huntress had when they meet him for the first time.

"Can I please speak to Thalia?" Percy asked trying to be civil.

"Sure, wish you luck." The huntress said.

Percy raised an eyebrow at that. After a moment Thalia open the door.

"Hey kelp head, what did you need?" Thalia asked leaning on the door frame.

"Just came to check if Amelia was fitting in well." Percy said.

"She's fine. Though, some had a bit of fit. But that was about Artemis having a child, not about her." Thalia said.

Percy nodded knowing how that might have turned out.

"So who was that hunter that answered?" Percy asked.

"New hunter, picked her up about a week ago. She and the few newbies aren't accustom to you, so you know." Thalia finish quietly.

Percy just shook his head with a smile on his face. Thalia smiled and said her goodbye to Percy.

Percy was walking to the stables to see Blackjack.

That was when Percy realized the crystal that he got from Ben was violently shaking.

Pulling it out, the crystal widened until he saw Ben's face. The sight wasn't pretty. Ben had blood dripping from a cut on his head. There were also many other cuts and scrapes on his face.

"Percy, are you in a good area?" Ben asked in urgency.

"Yeah Ben. Why?" Percy said.

"Attack on Midgard in progress. If you could set the crystal down. I need to evacuate the entire camp." Ben said looking away as explosions could be heard in the back ground.

"Wait, I and the campers could come help." Percy said motioning for some people to gather.

"Are you sure?" Ben asked only to see Percy nod. "Alright, I am sending over the injured, old, and young."

Setting the crystal down. Percy stepped back and watched as the crystal grew into a small temple that was unlike what they were accustomed to.

Noticing the crowd Percy yelled his orders, "I want everyone to gather their gear and weapons. We will be offering are assistance to a friend of mine who has been attacked."

With that everyone got their stuff and returned.

The temple started to glow and then people that were injured stumbled though the portal with others helping them.

The healers quickly moved to help them and get them to the infirmary.

Chiron galloped over to see the situation.

"What is going on?" Chiron demanded.

"I am helping the Norse demigods deal with an attack." Percy said.

As soon as he said that Ben walked through the portal a bandage warping around his head.

Putting his helmet back on Ben spoke up, "Thanks Percy, for everything."

"Percy, we shouldn't risk our lives on a war that isn't ours." Chiron said looking at Ben with distaste.

"Chiron. They are innocent kids who have done nothing. I can't in my right mind not help them." Percy replied back annoyed.

Chiron's face soften. He then nodded at Percy before leaving.

"Sorry, about this Percy." Ben said noticing the hatred Chiron held for the Norse.

"This is no problem. Debrief me." Percy said walking over to the portal.

"A titan has come go against us. Krios I believe. But that wasn't our trouble. The problem is that we were really outnumbered. Mountain, fire and frost giants came and destroyed most of our defense. Due just to the sheer number of them. Then we had these strange people using an ancient magic to attack us. I saw a couple of these magicians by Krios. Along with, what I hope wasn't, Ragnarok." Ben said going through the portal.

Percy followed, "Ragnarok?"

"The end of the Norse age. Over the ages Ragnarok has taken a form. I defeated him once before but it's the allies that he has worries me." Ben said.

Percy nodded and moved quickly to the wall with his troops. The gates were open with a group of Vikings doing their best to prevent the enemy from entering.

Percy roared and charged with others following his example. The Vikings were shocked until they saw their chief with them. This renewed their spirits.

On the right side of the battlefield. One of the best warriors of the Vikings was surrounded by some giants and hellhounds. Alex was trying to hold her own against the monsters but she was growing tired. Behind her a frost giant was about to smash her when it froze and disintegrated. Alex looked back in time to see who did it.

Standing there, taking out some more monsters with her electric spear, was Clarisse. She moved her back to Alex.

"Need help?" Clarisse said stabbing a hellhound in the face.

"If you got my back, I got yours." Alex replied before the pair ducked to avoid a swig from a mountain giant.

"Then you better not suck." Clarisse said mockingly.

"The same to you." Alex said with a smirk.

The two really started to decimate the monster after their small talk. Often one would attack as soon as one blocked or parried and vice versa. The monsters started to move away from them except for the brave and foolish ones.

But those that were fleeing where easy target for the hunters. They took many monsters out from the wall. And at one point they even got an outpost they could attack from once the monsters were pushed back. If there was one thing the Vikings knew. It was how to cause havoc. Many pre-made outpost were quickly set up for the archers.

On the left side of the battle field there were bolts of lightning striking multiple monsters at once.

Sophie was a blonde women decimating any monster in range with duel war hammers. She wore an Asgardian steel helmet. But the most notable thing was the lightning that was encircling around her. Whenever a monster got close enough, the lightning would lash out and destroy them, if the hammers didn't do it first.

That was what Thalia saw when she arrived at the scene.

"Don't get to close. Otherwise you get shocked." Sophie said hitting another giant.

"Don't worry. Daughter of Zeus." Thalia said before encasing her spear with lightning

Sophie just smirked and charged off towards another giant. Thalia followed her lead.

A small lightening storm surround the two as they wreaked the left flank of the monster army.

In the middle of the monster army a huge storm was stirring. It was wiping the monsters out due to bowling ball size hail, fiery wind, piercing sword, swinging ax, and stabbing water and ice spikes. The creators of the storm were non other then Percy and Ben. Using their powers they wiped out a good majority of the monster and magicians.

They had one target in mind. Down with the titan.

But luck wasn't on their side and the titan left before they reached him.

In the front of the demigod army was Nico. He had some skeleton soldiers helping with the monsters. He notice that there were ghostly spirits of Vikings around helping the demigods.

"Hello handsome." A voice said behind Nico.

Looking back he saw Lucy holding a sword and shield.

"Hello to you to. But this isn't the time for flirting." Nico said going back to the fight.

Lucy just laughed. Striking the ground with her sword a group of skeletons started to come out of the ground as well.

"Sure thing. But let's have some fun. Let see who can summon more skeles?" Lucy said smirking.

Nico just smirked and summon more. The two summoned huge armies which greatly aided in defending and pushing the monsters away from the gate.

Slowly the monster were being decimated, till they were driven off. Any that were left were killed by the wolves or struck down by lightning. The fire giants were quickly eliminated by Percy with his control of water.

The night was approaching when the last of the troops made it back into Midgard, the camp.

The to camp leaders were standing outside of the gate watching the last of the soldiers walk though the gate.

"Thanks Percy. You didn't have to. But you brought us more help then we could have ever hope for." Ben said staring of into the sunset.

"You're welcome Ben. I hope we didn't lose too many." Percy said looking at those that were walking in.

"From what I hear the only thing we have to worry about is lost limbs. No lives lost. This time." Ben said walking inside.

Percy followed him as the gate closed behind the leaders.

"Where do you think Krios and Ragnarok went?" Percy asked as they head for the dining hall.

"I don't know. But it doesn't look good. For any of us." Ben replied looking of into the distance.

"I think. We need to ally ourselves. With the enemies combine strengh. They could easily wipe us out one by one." Percy said rubbing his chin.

"True. But the Norse have few allies. One to be exact but it is unlikely they will help." Ben said rubbing his temples.

"I know a few more maybe they could offer us more help." Percy said as the dining hall came into view.

"Maybe, let us move onto lighter topics. For we have won a battle in the beginning of this war.

As the two enter the hall they saw a sight the gods thought they would never witness. The Vikings and Greeks were partying. For it was customary for the Vikings after a victory to party. The Greeks not wanting to be rude followed their host behavior. Which lead to the mess that was in front of them.

While there was no alcohol it still seemed that everyone was enjoying themselves.

At one table Alex and Clarisse were having an arm wrestling contest. In the back Thalia and Sophie were trying to see could do the most with lightning and good naturely arguing whom father is better. And in the very back Nico and Lucy were enjoying whatever conversation they were having.

"Come on Percy we can't be seen not enjoying the party." Ben said before heading over to Alex and Clarisse to challenge the winner.

Percy just laughed and decided to mingle among the Norse demigods. This move helped some of the other Greeks introduce themselves to the Vikings. Which just increased the noise.

In the background, a man stood watching the scene with great happiness. The man was in the super model league on the looks department. One could say he was the male equivalent to Aphrodite in looks. But that was expected out of the god of beauty. His brown hair nicely done and beard neatly trimmed.

"What is up Baldur?" A man in his 50 asked the bearded man, now known as Baldur.

"Just enjoying the peace we have now. War is brewing I can feel the peace ending." Baldur said frowning. A faraway look crossed his face. "It feels far too soon. This generation has been through too much already. Especially our champions." Baldur said softly.

The man just nodded.

"Richard, what do you think?" Baldur asked.

"I can only hope that we can pull threw and survive once more." The now named Richard said.

So here is the longest chapter in the story so far. And one of my favorites. Then again, I like this story a lot more then the other ones. Doesn't mean I won't continue to work on those. It's just that my main focus will be this one. I guess.

So yeah...

PK out.
