Chapter 7
AN: sooooo sorry guys! I mean sooooooooooooo sorry! I would have updated sooner but with the holidays coming flying at me I have been very busy! I made this chapter longer to make up for my naughtiness. :)
"A Plan?" Luke looked at his father as if he had grown another foot, and not the kind that you get taller.
Darth Vader smiled at his sons surprised and expectant face. "One thing you should know about me is that I always have a plan. "
"Always?" Luke raised an eyebrow at this. No one always had a plan. "Even when you were an apprentice?"
At that Darth Vader was stumped. He remembered many a time when Obi-Wan would scold him for not being prepared for everything. He would also scold him about every time they went on a mission because he would leave the original plan that Obi-Wan had come up with to just make up a different plan while in action. "Well, maybe not then," he admitted reluctantly.
Luke started laughing. The look on his fathers face was just too hilarious! It was a mix between embarassment and reluctance, as well as something else Luke couldn't quite place but something like... Actually he couldn't place it.
Suddenly Vaders com dinged at him. Luke and Vader glanced at each other. There was only one person that had Vaders personal com number.
The Emporer.
Leia gave her mom a smile once again. "Thanks again for taking me shopping.
Padmé smiled back at her daughter . "No problem. Knowing how much I enjoy shopping, I expected that you would like it as well."
Leia laughed. "That must be the understatement of the year. "
Padmé gave her daughter a hurt look that Leia knew was fake. "Why do you say that?"
Leia smiled slightly. "I love shopping more than anything."
Padmé raised her eyebrows. "More than anything?"
Leia laughed at this. Obviously her mother knew her better than she had thought. "Well, I enjoy going to the Spa"
Padmé winked at her. "Yeah I know, sweety. Because that is where we are going next." She looked up at the building they were approaching. It read "Epic Spa." Padmé knew it was the best Spa in the planet, if not in the galaxy. She had been there before.
As they walked into the archway, a man with sunglasses approached the two women. "Ma'ams, I need some identification before you are allowed to go in the Epic.
Padmé looked worriedly at her daughter. They couldn't tell him who Padmé really was or Palpatine would know she was still alive. He probably knew that already but you never know. It was better to be safe then sorry. But there was no way that they could lie about who Padmé was. Finally Padmé decided to take the chance. "I am Padmé Amidala, former Queen and Senator of Naboo."
The man seemed unfazed. "Ma'am there's a lot of people who have pretended to be the great Queen of Naboo. I need your identification."
Padmé rolled her eyes. Whatever. If identification was what he wanted, then identification is what he would get. She slipped her hand in her gorgeous silver blue purse and pulled out her silver wallet that Anakin- she would never call him Darth Vader- had given her. She then opened it up and handed her Nabooian identification card to the security guard.
He took it and scanned it, making sure it was legal and not faked. "Sorry Madam Naburrie, but regulation is regulation."
Padmé smiled at the man. "I understand. And it's Madam Skywalker. " ignoring the huff from Leia, indicating that she still had a grudge against Anakin, she put her identification card back in her wallet and walked forward into the spa without a second glance backwards. Of she had looked backwards she would have seen the man staring at her, jaws open and mouth hanging idiotically from his mouth.
