AN:EEEE! So much love from you guys! I am super excited and have so many ideas, as for Daniel and the previous chapter you can see that Regina is having a hard time, she feels like she can't compare Daniel and Robin because of the fact that Daniel's and hers was forbidden but as more drama approaches with Elsa all of this really takes a toll on her and the pressure to pick is growing. And remember it hasn't even been 24 hours so this is all very new and there is so much going on right now she is acting impulsively but as time goes on she has to put herself first and will make the decision in her own best interest.

She wouldn't be here, she shouldn't be lying in Daniels arms. She couldn't be here. Why does she always feel like she's suffocating. She needs air. Now. Feeling bile bubble up in her throat she is on her knees on the bathroom floor in seconds.

Her knuckles are white from the hard grip she has on the seat of the toilet, she feels her hair being pulled back from her face by who she can only assume was done by Daniel.

Nothing could stop the vomiting, the pressure and twist of her stomach before everything she had eaten in the last 24 hours comes back up. After a few minutes of just sitting she stands up, her legs feeling weak. She accepts the cloth from him and wipes her mouth and forehead.

Taking a long sip from the water offered to her. She sighs still feeling just a bit dizziness. "What's wrong my love?" My love. That was what's wrong, right now she was stringing along both of the only men she ever loved. That was the issue.

She wasn't sick, it was the nerves, the anxiety. She would eventually have to pick, as much as she would like more time, time to stall to think, to consider this from every angle she couldn't.

If she were to, it would just end up hurting even more, she need to make a decision, but this wasn't just about her. Currently she was the key to two men's happy ending more or less.

"Anxiety, it's nothing. Sorry, I don't like you seeing me like this" Regina found when she talked to Daniel her voice softened, taking away the edge and most of the sarcasm. Daniel lost a part of her and she didn't want the adjustment to be major for him.

He wasn't used to seeing her more assertive, crueler, bolder, she wasn't going to be the girl he fell in love with, she was dead and isn't coming back. But she could at least provide some elements of her for him. Right now it was middle ground.

Shaking away the anxiety she takes a shower, grateful for the few moments of peace and the sense of being alone. Showing was always the best wind down, it a gave her time to think and just feel refreshed.

She lets the hot water burn her skin but she doesn't even register it because all she can focus on is Robin. She couldn't just leave him, they were soulmates. But if it was written in the stars that they were destined to be together why was it so hard?

Why was love so hard for her? Snow and Charming? They had no problems, they were the model couple for all true loves.

But she and Robin were soulmates, not true loves. Was there a difference?

She tried not to think about this too much, she needed to go in to her office, she had work, she couldn't just gossip about boys.

Stepping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around herself she lets her take her time with dressing and doing her makeup. It gives her time to think. Smokey eyes with eyeliner so sharp it could kill a man. Dark plum lipstick, a mask she wanted.

She dresses in all black of course, a short, tight dress, just needing a few inches under her ass. Tall heels that give her a boost of confidence. It was a mask, something to steel herself, today was going to be about anything but them.

Regina was a puzzle, and he was still working on figuring her out, she was bolder, speaking her mind freely. Something that had taken him aback, he had never seen her so cold, she wasn't as kind. Gone were those sweet words even to those who didn't return the sentiment.

She was still the girl he fell in love with but it wasn't the same. She wasn't as pure, as untouched by evil as she was now. Cowering in the face of magic and she was embracing it. She was more mature, less carefree.

He wanted, he needed the old Regina back. Daniel sighed, he also had Robin to think about, Regina had insisted that it wasn't too serious but it was obvious she felt something for him. She told him that they would be okay but he had doubts.

He was going to fight for her, for everything that was ripped away from her by her mother. And he could assume that Robin would fight for her as well. She had changed so much, he wanted to re get to know her.

He left the mansion in long strides, he didn't know anyone in Storybrooke, he should get a job, meet some people. Luckily he wasn't alone, Emma was at Granny's and invited him to sit with her. "How are you finding Storybrooke?"

"It's charming" He answers but stops when Emma laughs, giving her a strange look she clarifies "My erm moms nickname for my dad was Charming"

"It's interesting, I don't know anyone besides Regina and she's-even with her I feel like I don't know her. She's not the same and it crushes me" He admits, it was nice to talk to someone, his relationship with Regina was confusing. Was what they had even considered a relationship?

The blonde sighs, taking a tip of her coffee saying "Your death, it affected her, she's not going to be the person you fell in love with...she, she needs to know that you will be there for her despite knowing all the things she did. The curse, your death is what set her on this path, she wouldn't be able to deal with it, if you hated her for it."

Emma had sent quite a bit of time, almost studying the queen, she was by far the strongest person she had ever met. She had caused so much pain yet she has this ability to love unlike any other.

Just by looking at her relationship with Henry you can tell, she loves very few but when she does it's unmatched by any others and it's completely unconditional. It was beautiful to see, she didn't take love for granted...not when such a little about of love was given to her in her past.

Daniel was so pure, so different to the cold unforgiving madam mayor. She wasn't the Evil Queen anmore, but she was. And his death changed her. But him being alive, would also change her. But Robin. She thinks back to what Tink had said.

Because of him being alive, he could be putting someone's happy ending in jeopardy, but she couldn't do anything about it. Because if she sent him back to the past somehow he would lose the chance at a happy ending. Either way someone was getting hurt. Because of her.

In her trying to bring someone a well deserved happy ending she ends up guaranteeing someone the loss of their happy ending. His voice takes her from her thoughts. "I love her, no matter what"

It surprised her how certain he was, he really did love her, he saw and loved the woman that few got to meet. Regina now, she was middle ground, yes she was reformed but she still had her sass, boldness and steeliness to her. It was middle ground.

Robin was in love with that part of her, teetering between good and evil and Daniel, he fell in love with the kind hearted Regina. The one that her mother was always reminiscing about. Regina loved Daniel, there was no doubt there but was she in love with him? She didn't know.

It had been so long, the blonde had a feeling that she wouldn't be able to give him what they had decades ago. But Robin, from what she had known they only started seeing each other a few weeks ago.

'I want to meet him" He said.

"Who?"

"My competition"

AN:Yayyy!Daniel and Robin are finally going to meet each other after all this time. AND we got to see some of Daniel's and Emma's insight of this whole situation. I will probably have some flashbacks of Daniel and Regina relationship in the Enchanted Forest as well as how Daniel was saved by Emma. I also want t thank you guys for all the positive feedback I've been getting. It's so sweet and I read all of my reviews, they really help me write better and give me motivation to write! So please, if you can write a review and tell me if I'm doing a good job or if I am being horrible to Robin (LMAO I know. And I'm sorry but I felt like after TWO love speeches from him that he could take a few hits. ESPECIALLY after how he treated Regina when Marian was back) Anyway I love hearing your thoughts and I love writing.

xoxo
