As the siblings followed Scorpio down the many hallways, Frost Flame began to notice many similarities among the ship's rooms. Each door had a symbol on it, but each was different. She saw Scorpio's Cutie Mark as one of the symbols, so she assumed it was his room. Some were open; they revealed rooms with similar patterns, but different colors.
"Yeah, all of the Star Ponies live here." A voice beside her made her jump. Scorpio had moved to the back of the group and was smiling widely at her. It made her uncomfortable, but she was good at hiding it.
"Really?" She asked, looking back towards the rooms.
"Yeah. Since Nova wants us working full time to find FS, we can't live in our constellations anymore." He looked solemn as he said this, his smile disappearing. It seemed like a horrible feature to have on his face.
"What was it like to live in the constellations?" Frost Flame asked.
Scorpio immediately smiled again. "It was wicked! I loved knowing that at any given moment, ponies were looking up at the sky and smiling up at us. Some might think being stuck up in the stars would be boring, but I love it. I've always wanted to make somepony happy." He looked over at Frost Flame with soft eyes.
Frost Flame tried her best to avoid these eyes, but failed. She trotted quickly up to her sister and asked her normal over-protective questions.
"Good luck getting anything like that out of her." Presto told the Star Pony. "She's abandoned any unnecessary emotions for others from her system. She 'only needs to look after us' and she 'has no time for others'. She's been that way ever since..." Presto looked up at the Star Pony, who was staring at him with wide, curious eyes. "Y'know what, it's not important." He said.
"S-Scorpio?"
Scorpio whipped around and saw another Star Pony. He had an aquamarine pelt with blue stars in his system. His hair was parted to frame his face as perfectly as his glasses framed his eyes. His eyes looked sad, yet nothing had happened that could bring such a thing by then. He slouched when he walked as if he was expecting someone to hit him.
"W-who are these ponies?" The stallion asked, shaking in fear. "Did N-Nova let them in? O-or are they s-stowaways?"
Scorpio's smile drooped a bit as he trotted over to the shivering pony. "Pisces. Keep calm. They're with me, alright?"
"That's not any b-better!" The stallion yelled, his horn sparking with his emotion.
Scorpio backed up, turning himself sideways in an attempt to guard the mortal ponies. "PF, it's fine. They just want to see FS. They just wanna see him, alright?"
Pisces's eyes were wide with terror. "F-Fallen S-Star?!" He squeed fearfully, his horn sparking fiercely. "W-Why do they need to s-see h-him?!"
"They have their own business, man. Let's just let 'em do what they need to do, and they'll be on their way." Scorpio spoke calmly and smoothly, never faltering for a second. Pisces obviously didn't scare him. He seemed to have a calming hold over him.
Pisces's eyes softened, and he looked the group over. They seemed harmless enough. Maybe they could just look around for a little bit? Yeah, maybe. Just for a bit.
"A-Alright." Pisces looked them over again. "J-just for a l-little bit."
Scorpio smiled widely. "Awesome!" He nodded to the ponies, then walked past his friend. They walked past the small stallion, who cringed under their stares. Scorpio turned back to him. "Wanna come with?"
Pisces's eyes widened as he nodded quickly. "Y-Yes please!"
Scorpio grinned his wide grin as Pisces quickly merged into the group next to Presto and Scorpio. His eyes stayed to the floor, but Presto saw he had a small smile.
