'Guys, the concert is about to start. We've paid for the tickets, we may as well get our money's worth. And now that I know Marie is Rose, I really want to get in there and see the band. I can see now why Lissa kept wanting to see them' I said.
'So what, she gave us a vague description of what happened, and you're going to just forget she's been gone for the last three years and act like normal with her' asked Dimitri
'No, I'm going in there to listen to the concert. Then I'm going to give Rose a good chance to explain because I know Rose and I know she wouldn't have left without a good reason. And deep down, you do too Guardian Belikov' I snapped. 'Come on babe, let's get inside. The rest of you can make up your own minds what you want to do'
'I need a drink, but I'm in' said Adrian.
'Count me in, I knew she didn't just run away' said Eddie. Janine and Alberta obviously followed as well, leaving Dimitri standing outside on his own.

I love coming to watch Rose perform. She used to love music when we were younger, but that was overshadowed by her need to become a guardian. I was genuinely pleased to see her pursuing that career. And she is a fantastic performer. She really gets the crowd going.
First she sang her all time favourite song. It's a superjesus song we used to sing together whenever we were angry with the world. It's an 'angry chick song' as André used to tell us.
The next song though left me confused. I wasn't sure if this song was about Dimitri, or about Cal, the other singer/guitarist in the band. I will definitely have to ask her about that one.
I found myself zoning out throughout the night though. I couldn't get Janine's comment out of my mind. What could Rose possibly have to be ashamed of? Surely she isn't ashamed that she left? I really wish this concert would hurry up and end so I can talk to her.
'Yeah, she's really torn up about the last three years isn't she? She wouldn't be up there singing this song to him now would she. I can't believe I was stupid enough to actually believe the things she said out there' cried Dimitri.
I didn't even see him standing next to me. Looking at him, his aura was all over the place. But the one that stood out the most was jealousy, which was a serious shock, because the compulsion was still in place. It showed just how much they were soul mates, because one look at her and he's getting feelings for her again, even though he won't admit it.
'Dimitri, I don't think this song is aimed at Cal' I said. 'If it was, she would be making eye contact with him, but she's barely looking at him.'
'Hmmm right' he mumbled.
The band kept performing, but I don't think I heard any of the songs. I just couldn't stop thinking about Janine's comment. I was getting really impatient.
'Ok guys, just a few more songs for you all and then we're out of here. Thank you all for coming tonight. We'll be back again soon' Rose yelled as the crowd went wild. 'The next few songs are really important to me. I've had some hard years, but these songs helped me get through those days and remember the people I truly love. By the time the song had finished, Rose had tears in her eyes. But she didn't skip a beat and went straight onto the next song.

I looked over to Dimitri as she was singing this song, and he was mesmerised by Rose. His eyes didn't move from hers. I knew in that moment that he remembered every feeling he ever had for her. I never told Rose, but all it took for the compulsion to wear off, was Rose coming back and showing him how much she loves him. The only problem that we will have now though, is whether he will forgive Rose, or me, for lying all these years.
