I have decided to start doing a question of a chapter. In the next chapter, I will post my answer and a new question.
Question of the chapter: What is your favorite pairing? (It can be non-canon) I do not own Percy Jackson.
I woke up the next morning to see the whole cabin lining up. Waiting until everyone was in a line, I stood in the back of it quietly. We were shuffled outside where they started going towards what I'm guessing was the dining hall. Letting out four, sharp, short whistles my animal friends ran up to me each chattering about what it was like last night. Nodding and making a few comments to them, I ignored the strange looks some people gave me as we all headed towards breakfast. They all sat at one table that was so full it was impossible for me to fit on it. Thankfully I didn't have to. Lady Artemis walked in and called me over to her as she sat down at a big table in the front. I remembered she was a goddess once I got up there and dipped my head in a bow. "Relax Luna." She said being gentle as she raised my chin. I smiled at her before stepping back as Chiron stomped his hoof. The loud hall quickly quieted down as he did so. Once everyone had stopped talking he said. "I know you are all probably hungry, but Lady Artemis has an important announcement to make." He bowed his head as my mother walked forward to the center of the stage. She motioned for me to go and stand next to her and I did so. "I will not be staying at Camp for long, but I must make the time I'm here worth it. You may all remember this girl from last night's Capture the Flag game. She is indeed a demigod, but a special one to say the least. I introduce you to Luna, Silver Blood of Artemis." As soon as she spoke the last words a glowing symbol appeared above my head. The camp was silent for a moment before several people started clapping. I couldn't see who they were though since most of the tables were super crowded. I felt someone place a hand on my shoulder and I looked up into the silver eyes of my mother. "It's okay. Your table is over there with all the other girls and silver. My second in command, Thalia, will explain camp and the Hunters to you." I nodded before going and sitting next to the punk girl I had recognized from last night. "So, you must be Luna the 'Silver Blood.'" I winced as she put air quotes around the words silver blood before saying. "What's it to you?" I watched as she rolled her eyes at my behavior and told me. "I'm Thalia, but I'm sure Artemis told you about me. After all I am her second in command." It was my turn to roll my eyes before a plate of food was set in front of me. Just as I was about to take a bite, I saw everyone start to get up. Confused I looked over to Thalia for help. "We offer food to the gods by burning it." I raised and eyebrow before followed them. Scraping a few pieces of bacon and eggs into the fire, I whispered my mother's name. Sitting back down at the table, I quickly ate my breakfast. Once I finished I left the dining hall and went to the beach. Sitting down on a smooth rock that jutted out of the water, I looked out at the horizon. I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize people had followed me there until I heard someone speak up.
