Day 2 of Winter 2015 Swan Queen Week.

"Will you stop," Emma said trying not to laugh at a whining Regina Mills splayed out on her couch.

"I just don't understand how you think this thing is comfortable," Regina replied shifting upward and fluffing the pillow for the fifth time before slamming it back down.

"I offered you their bed."

Regina's eyes shot up at Emma, her nostrils flaring. "For the last time, your parents and I may have resolved our differences, but there's no way I'm sleeping on their sex bed."

"Sex bed?" Emma questioned equally disturbed. But all Regina did was sigh as she slammed her head back down on the pillow.

Emma rolled her eyes as she made her way for the stairs, but stalled when Regina let out another exasperated whine. Emma's eyes met the ceiling. She should keep going. Regina was only going to complain more. Why should she put herself through more torment? Oh that's right, it was her thing.

Emma turned and shuffled back over to the couch. "Why I earth did you agree to this then?"

"The town did this to me," Regina moaned into the pillow. Emma came around the front of the couch, yanked the pillow from under Regina's head and whacked her a few times before Regina could start yelling at her.

"What are you doing?" She finally barked.

"Mary Margaret specifically told you, you could stay in the manor. That just because you weren't mayor anymore, didn't mean you had to leave your home, a home you've had for over thirty years. So YOU, former Madam Mayor did this and you alone."

Regina stared blankly at her at first, surprised by Emma's stern tone before flopping back down on the couch. "Fine, it's my fault then, happy?"

"No," Emma spat back. "You won't stop complaining. I offered you their bed, with fresh sheets, and you said no. The only other option is the couch since Henry's bed is too small for you to squeeze into."

"It was sweet of him to offer his bed though," Regina replied mellowing out a bit, "of course," she went on, jumping right back into cranky mode, "I would never make him sleep on this dreadful thing."

Emma rolled her eyes waiting for them to get stuck that way. She needed to stay calm. This Regina was nothing compared to the woman she met when she first arrived in Storybrooke. Besides, she was the one to offer Regina a place to stay. They both needed to live with their most recent life decisions. "How about we go shopping tomorrow for a new bed to replace Mary Margaret's and David's?"

"That sounds lovely," Regina replied snapping up from the couch. Emma stared at her for a moment, unsure of her next move. And before she knew it, Regina snagged the pillow from her grasp and brushed passed her.

"Where are you going?" Emma asked as Regina made her way toward the stairs.

"I need a good night sleep and that thing will not do." Emma followed Regina as she sauntered up the stairs and tried to ask her a few more times where she planned to sleep, but Regina ignored her, opened Emma's bedroom door then peeked around at the condition of it before marching toward the bed.

"Regina?" Emma questioned as the former mayor moved Emma's pillows to the left side of the bed, before pulling down the sheets to inspect it as well before slipping into the bed.

"It's just for one night. I'll manage."

"You?" Emma shot back. Regina smirked as she closed her eyes and curled into a ball, her smirk glued to her face as her body snuggled into the bed to form a crease.

Emma knew it was useless to argue and went to the other side of the bed. Regina hummed into her pillow barely taking notice as Emma sat down beside her. "Better your majesty?"

"Much."

Emma rolled her eyes once more, but with a grin as she leaned over to turn off the light on her nightstand before slipping in beside Regina. "Goodnight roomie."

"Goodnight Emma."
