In the next week that followed the conversation Sakura had with Sasuke three things happened inside the leaf village. It was true, something inside Sakuras cold chest cracked, allowing warmth and love to flow in. Her and Kakashi would casually flirt around and when one would catch the others eye they would hold each others glances for a long moment. Naruto would normally come into view and shatter the bond Sakura and Kakashi were trying to build. Just when the doubts about leaving the leaf village started to enter Sakuras mind, and the pull that Kakashi held on her, she started to wonder if she should go back to the waterfall village. She was thinking maybe it was time to put her sword down and leave the Reaper in the past as a haunting dream for children. Sakura walked through the hole in Kakashi's wall, which still has yet to be repaired she looked around for the silver haired man. The two of them had plans to meet up with Naruto and Sasuke for dinner. When Sakuras frozen heart cracked, allowing warmth and love to seep in, she forgot that something else can seep in as well. Sakura walked to Kakashis room and opened the door and to have yet another crack added to her already broken heart. Kakashi was there alright but with Kurenai on top of him. Sakura stood there for a long second in that moment she felt as the coldness that ran through her veins slowly whirl and wrapped around her heart once again and once it laid still, it froze over.

"Sakura!" Kakashi noticed Sakura standing here. He quickly sat up and Kurenai turned around covering her exposed chest once that silent moment of Sakura's broke she was gone in a hush cloud of smoke.

Tsunade assigned Team seven a mission a day after Sakura walked in on Kakashi and his girlfriend. Team Seven would be leaving the next morning. Naruto threw a fit. Complaining because he just wanted to spend time with Sakura. Naruto knew she would soon vanish again and he would not know where she was or when he would see her again and all he wanted to do was spend time with his friend. Tsunade did not care, she told Naruto he and his team was going on the mission. Naruto yelled and fought Tsunade but he lost soon after Tsunade started throwing things at him to get him out of her office. Naruto returned to his apartment building to find that those strangers that knew Sakura were gone. Sakura said that they had to continue on with their mission. Naruto didn't understand but did not press his luck. For the rest of the night Naruto complained and whined about having to go on a mission. Sakura would always turn to him and remind him how he use to complain about never having missions to go on. Naruto didn't want to tell Sakura that he didn't want to leave because of her because he knew she would scold him, and he didn't want that.

Against Narutos wishes morning came all to fast, and with a few tears from Naruto team seven was off on their month long mission. Sakura had walked them to the front gates of the village to see them off. She watched as they left, she watched as Kakashi left. Kakashi tried talking to her, but she would not have any of it, she ignored him and his existence. Sakura did not speak of what had happened to any one, not to Naruto or Carver and Raiden. It was a wake up call for Sakura, that was what she was going to chop it up as. How could she have been thinking about not returning back to the waterfall village? Sakura shook her head at the thought, she was being foolish, a foolish child she was being and it was time to grow up. Sakura did not tell Naruto that she was leaving, it would have made it harder on Naruto to leave on his own mission to focus on that mission. And she didnt want to deal with him crying about it. Once they were out of sight Sakura turned to see her two remaining team mates looking at her, leaning against trees. Within the hour Sakura, Carver and Raiden had cleared out of the Leaf village. Sakura left four remaining waterfall village teams to protect the village until she returned. The three comrades walked until they came to three different paths in the road, they all looked at each other for a long moment. Raiden smiled slightly.

"Be careful guys."

"Yeah, you too." Carver said hugging Raiden. Sakura smiled weakly hugging her two friends goodbye. They all had different missions in different places. Ever since the nine died off the remaining three do not stay together very long, them being inside the leaf village was the longest they have been together since the nine.

Sakura turned to look at the others as they started their separate ways. "I don't need anymore funerals." She called out. The three watched each other until they couldn't see each other through the trees any more. Sakura, Carver and Raiden all looked forward. They then locked their feelings into a small box and tossed it in the back of their minds. Emotions get you killed. Yes they were going to miss each other but going their own ways had to be done. At least, that is what they always told themselves after the rest of their team died. They knew why the Reapers were attacking the villages. Sakura just didn't understand how or why. She looked at the trees as she slowly past them. Slowly glowing marks who revel themselves on the trunk of the trees in her presence. Only she could see them. They were the marks of a seal Sakura had placed around the leaf village.

"Sakura?" Tsunade asked, seeing Sakura walk into her office. "I thought you would have been gone by now."

"I am leaving now." Sakura answered, but she handed Tsunade a tube filled with a red substance.

"What is this?"

"My blood." Tsunade snapped her eyes towards the pink haired ninja, she slightly held the tube farther away from her.

"Thanks?" Sakura shook her head at Tsunade's remark.

"I told you how I put seals around this village. Once activated a dome will cast over the village. It will protect your village if something was to happen and I was not here."

"Yes, I remember. But you said only you can active them."

"Yes, but if I am not here you can pour my blood on one of the symbols it will become active and then I will be notified. But it only works once."

"How will I know where the symbol are?"

"You will know." Sakura said.

"How long does it last?"

"Three days. No one will be allowed in or out of the dome, so be careful if you ever have to use it."

"What if I want to turn it off early?"

"You cant there are only three ways to turn the seal off once it is active. Either you wait out the time or I can turn it off or..."

"Or?"

"Or if I die the seal will break."

"O-Oh." Tsunade stuttered.

"I have to go." Sakura said turning.

"I know." Tsunade smiled weakly. "Sakura, be careful out there. And if you ever need anything you always have a home here."

"Thank you, Tsunade."
