Thanks for the reviews. I actually updated pretty quickly! I will say this, due to a PM message I got. This story won't be excruciatingly long. It may not even be twenty chapters unless I decide to to what I did in KHO and skip a couple years to add a second story arc. Which, I might. Age of Extinction gave me some ideas. It all depends. This story won't move unrealistically fast, but the chapters will span out through longer times so my plot line will work out. The main arc of this story is being set in motion in this chapter, actually.

I Live For You - George Harrison
I got a text from Bee at four AM. I was still not asleep, staring at the ceiling.
I picked up my phone. Looking at the message. "Energy signature in North Carolina. Be back in a day or two. Don't cause too much trouble ;)"
I laughed lightly, responding with "I'm not the one who causes trouble."
He didn't respond but he read the message. He probably couldn't respond.
I turned over on my side, finally deciding I could go to sleep.

I slept till two in the afternoon the next day. I wasn't surprised, of course.
I trudged downstairs, not finding Holland anywhere. She was probably out with Jake or the rest of our friends.
I was toasting an English muffin when someone was knocking on my door.
I turned and saw the door unlocked. "Who is it?" I yelled, trying to get the muffin from the toaster.
"It's Bee."
I crinkled my forehead in confusion. He was gone, wasn't he?
"Come in." I responded, turning to make sure it was my blonde-headed friend that entered my home.
It was him, and another blonde-headed guy.
Luckily, my pajamas were my better looking ones and bed head wasn't bad. I smiled. "Hey. I thought you were gone?"
He nodded. "I was. It turned out, though that the energy signature was friendly." He thumbed at the guy behind him.
I went to the fridge and pulled out the butter, also grabbing a knife from the drawer beside the fridge. "So, he's an Autobot?"
"Yeah."
I put the knife on the plate and the butter and made my way to them. I wanted to get on the good side of this other 'Bot.
He had shaggy blonde hair like Bee, but it was longer, almost shoulder length. His blue eyes were inhumanly bright, but not as bright as Bee's. He was slightly taller than Bee, of course Bee did point out he was rather short so that made sense. His skin was sun-kissed and he was abnormally attractive. He was fit with toned muscles that you could see even through his leather jacket. He had on a tight fitted tank top underneath and baggy grey pants with Nike skate shoes. Last, on top of his head, a pair of aviator sunglasses sat.
He looked me over and held out a hand. "I'm Sunstreaker."
I grabbed his hand and shook it, adding a friendly smile. "I'm Jenna."
"He has told me all about you. We can trust you, right? Bumblebee didn't break the rules for someone who is going to stab us in the back did he?"
I shook my head. "No. I would never betray you guys." I said calmly. "I do hope that I can also gain your trust as well since you're a friend of Bumblebee's."
He studied me, possible replaying my answer. He then nodded. "You don't seem so bad."
I let out a breath of air I didn't know I was holding. "Thank you. Neither do you."
He smiled. "I know I'm not."
I looked to Bee. "Have you eaten?"
"No."
"You can help yourself to the kitchen." I said to him. I then turned to Sunstreaker. "Both of you can, if you eat human food, that is."
Sunstreaker nodded. "I've been on Earth once before. I have eaten. It's good, surprisingly."
I smiled. "Help yourself then."
As Bee began to make himself as home, as he usually does, I went back to fixing my own mid-afternoon breakfast. I ate it fast, downing a glass of orange juice with it.
"I hope I'm not being rude, but why are you on Earth, Sunstreaker?" I questioned as he sat at the bar and drank orange juice.
"Had to escape Cybertron. They were attacking and they only way to ensure my own survival was to get on a Decepticon ship and steal an escape pod. I knew Bee was here so this was the logical place to go."
I nodded.
"What about Sideswipe? You guys always were together. Is he okay?" Bee questioned through bites of Apple Jacks.
Sunstreaker shrugged. "I feel the bond. He's alive and okay. Yet, I don't know his whereabouts. I had to leave him when our team split."
"Who's Sideswipe?" I asked. "Sorry. I'm nosy."
Sunstreaker nodded. "It's fine. He is my twin brother."
"What do you mean by Bond?" I felt very stupid.
"Want the full explanation?" Bee asked.
I nodded.
"Cybertronians are connected by bonds. Siblings, parents and children, and couples. Through bonds, we can feel one another's emotions, communicate through thoughts and feel life energy. Family has bonds through being related. Couples form bonds through spark merging. It's like marriage on our planet except no divorce. Couples do it to be close to each other and it's a way of promising each other a life time. Also, we as Cybertronians live eternally and crave bonds and connections with those we love. Our sparks literally reach out to each other and beg to bond with each other. However, bonds are permanent and cannot be undone unless one of the two Cybertronians who share a bond are offlined. After this happens, the one left alive never feels whole again, some even die from the pain of the bond being broken and the emptiness they feel after."
"That's intense."
"Yeah." Sunstreaker replied. "It used to be sweet and nice and a way of keeping us all connected. After the war, being connected and feeling someone else's pain when they are killed isn't fun. That's why I never bonded with a mate. I don't want to feel that. I've already dealt with the pain of my creators being offlined. I can't go through that again."
"Bonds between couples and twin siblings are stronger than those of parent and child or just siblings." Bumblebee added in. "So, it hurts pretty bad when the bond between a parent and child is broken, but if your mate or twin is killed and you feel that, that's when it gets so bad you feel empty and can die from the pain."
"Or just kill yourself. That's the most common." Sunstreaker added.
I frowned. "I'm sorry. You both probably have experienced that."
"Only the parent bond being broken." Bee replied. "Neither of us were bonded as a couple and Sideswipe is still alive. Neither of us had any other siblings."
I nodded, part of me happy to know Bee hadn't been with anyone.
"Now that we're done with the biology lesson, I'm tired and I want to sleep." Sunstreaker said, yawning to make his point.
Bee nodded. "I'm tired too but I only have one bed room in my apartment. I'm not sleeping on the couch."
"I'm not either."
I smiled. "One of you can stay here. I have two extra bedrooms upstairs."
Sunstreaker looked to Bee. "It's your house. I can't kick you out if your own house. I'll stay here."
Bee nodded.
Sunstreaker looked at me. "I hope I'm not intruding."
I shook my head. "You're fine. The room with the blue door, first room on the left."
He went straight to the room and shut the door.
I turned back to find Bee staring at me. "What?" I questioned.
"He hates humans. Like, he literally has referred to humans as 'squishies' and 'fleshies' since I found him this morning. Why was he so nice to you?"
I shrugged. "He didn't seem that bad."
"He's horrible and yet he was like a whole different person with you."
I shrugged again. "I guess it was because I wasn't horrible to him and you and I are friends."
"I guess."
"So, is that how you know when you like someone on Cybertron? Your spark tells you?"
He shook his head. "That's just with bonding. It's just like on earth. You just sort of realize you have feelings for someone."
I smiled. "Like, the first person you think about when you wake up, last person you think about when you go to sleep? Person you're most comfortable around, who makes you happy and all that? You just sort of realize it?"
He looked at me, his eyes looking into mine for a moment, before darting away. He was looking out of the window, but yet his eyes seemed somewhere else. "Yeah. That exactly."
"You okay?"
He nodded and gave me a smile. "Yeah. I'm gonna go home and sleep. I'll come back tomorrow morning. Call me if Sunny gives you any trouble."
"He'll be fine. Sunny?" I raised a brow.
"Don't call him that to his face. He hates it."
I nodded. "Got you."
He smiled at me again before leaving.
Soon after Holland arrived. I explained very thing that had happened, expecting her to be skeptical about the new addition to the household and how it's dangerous.
Yet, she didn't. She smiled and said it was great Bee had more help with his mission. This surprised me, but I didn't say anything.
Sunstreaker came down one time, after being asleep for hours. He got a bottle of water and I introduced him to Holland.
Like Bee had said, he referred to humans as 'fleshies' twice in the conversation and seemed sort of distasteful about having to talk to her.
I could definitely see his view on humans come through. He still seemed okay with me, though.
He finally decided he wanted to sleep more, heading back upstairs again and shutting the door for the next few hours.
Holland went out with Jake again, leaving me to my thoughts, which was utterly boring, tiring me in no time.
I soon couldn't even concentrate on the tv or comprehend a single page of a book.
Even though, I had slept till two, I was exhausted.
Sunstreaker was still out and I expected him to be that way for the rest of the night. By eleven, I was in my room, trying to sleep.
I sort of began wonder what was going to happen with the whole living situation. Bee and Sunstreaker would need to be in the same place to do their Autobot business.
Part of me hoped Bee wouldn't take this opportunity and move away.
Of course, I had two extra rooms. I had Holland here. They could move in with me, if that interested them. It would save money for them and Bee would always be here.
I smiled to myself.
I decided I'd bring the idea up to him tomorrow. If anything, it could just be temporary.
Before long I was once again asleep.

I woke up that night at four, I shot up, the dream startling me into consciousness.
My hand slowly reached up subconsciously and traced my lips.
I could still feel his lips on mine.
Review? I know it's short again. I'll try to do better.
