Chapter 7: Back To Normal, Broke In Tears

Gamzee walked through the dark hallways and finally found an area with light. He step through to see a huge staircase as he walked up he found Karkat, Kanaya, Sollux and Terezi as they all noticed Gamzee who then found a hammer and wielded It at the moment. They all put up their weapons but Karkat told them to put them down and that It was him that needed to calm Gamzee down from his deranged state.

Gamzee ran at Karkat as so did he but used his weapon to disarm Gamzee and he dropped his weapon went console him. Gamzee screamed Karkat 'shhh'ed him and papped his face calming him down. As Gamzee returned to normal Karkat hugged him as Gamzee held Karkat too.

"Thanks bro... I feel horrible. I'm so sorry about Equius and Nepeta, I didn't mean It" he held him so tightly and started trembling as he apologized to him over and over again. Karkat Just let him apologize seeing how ripped he was.

"No problem at least you know, go find Tavros and come back we need to stick together now" Karkat ordered Gamzee as Gamzee got up and leaves to find his Matesprit.

Gamzee walked through hallways, up staircases and explored huge rooms and he couldn't find him. He began to worry. He went to the lower levels of the area as he passed under a staircase where a platform hovered over a wet drip fell on his face. He tapped his face orange stained his fingers his eyes widened and he ran up the stairs to higher ground where It fell from.

As he got there he felt like ripping his heart out. Hot tears rolled down from his eyes and fell on the floor, he dropped to his knees and covered his face.

" No... No, no, no! Motherfuckers!" Gamzee punched the floor making his knuckles bleed he wanted to die, he wanted to hurt himself so badly

"Why did they Take him! Ahhh!' Gamzee yells so loud, he was an emotional wreck, he remembered every ounce of love he gave to Tavros, every kiss, every time he made him blush all the things about him. He looked up to his body and saw Tavros moving his arm, he immediately ran to him.

"Tavros! dear motherfuckin god don't die on me please..." Gamzee picked him up onto his lap and held his head and saw the hole in his chest. Blood poured onto the floor and his legs Tavros became paler and paler died to blood loss he looked to Gamzee but couldn't speak all he did was mouth

'I'm sorry you went crazy'

And continued 'I'm sorry I didn't Chase away you nightmare, I'm sorry I couldn't give you more... I love you'.

Gamzee pulled him into one last kiss as Tavros held Gamzee's cheek, he got blood all over his lips but he didn't care. It was the blood of his lover, his Matesprit then Tavros's hand drifted from Gamzee's face and hit the floor and splashed in his own blood. Gamzee's eyes widened as he saw It fall. Then the real water works came. He cried and cried the tears ran fast as he held Tavros to his chest. He felt like he was being strangled, he felt so tight so closed in he gasped for air and shuddered trying to complete such an easy task. But It wasn't easy at the moment.

Gamzee still had Tavros in his arms, he wasn't insane Or sane he felt empty. A ghost, nothing he moved Tavros's face away from his chest and stared at his pale face, his indigo tears fell on him. He lightly kissed the side of Tavros's face, then his forehead then the side of his mouth then finally kissed his lips. His lips were freezing Gamzee whimpered while kissing him and then he moved away picking him up and walked him down the stairs

He felt weak, he fell to his knees holding Tavros but got up again and continued to walk forward to the others, he walked down the stairs and entered a huge room and the next room was where they were.

He walked to the next room and up a small flight of stairs. He saw them afar in the other end of the room. As he saw Karkat with his back facing him along with the others he walked to them.

"I... Found Tavros..." Gamzee said with a cracked voice and Karkat turns to see the emotional wreak and Tavros. Dead in his arms. His eyes grew wide, everyone were in shock except Terezi who didn't Or can't see anything but smelled dry blood she had a frown on her face. Karkat saw Gamzee fall to his knees. Crying. Karkat hugged Gamzee from behind as Gamzee sadly messed with Tavros's hair, he rubbed his face with his thumb and he held Tavros to his chest he turned his face into Karkat's chest and cried

" God damn It all! I'm sorry Tavros! Why! WHY!" Terezi and Kanaya placed Tavros on the floor with tears down their eyes after seeing Gamzee, the nonchalante person of them all brake down. Kanaya placed the cape she took from Eridan and placed It over Tavros.
