Dear Diary,

You are never going to guess who it was at the door… well actually it's not that hard to guess since not many people care enough to come up to speak to me. When I opened the door there stood Kestrel. To be honest I had no ideas it was going to be her. I thought it was either mark or dad coming upstairs to ask me to make more snacks or to come downstairs and enjoy the party just like everyone else, but that is not what happened.

Kestrel walked into my room and shut the door behind her which confused me. I asked her what was up but she didn't even answer she just walked up to me and wrapped her arms around me. This was really strange feeling as Kestrel was usually the most heartless person I know and I have never seen her hug anyone before. Not even her many boyfriends. This made me very scared and suspicious.

All of the sudden her grips start to loosen a bit and she whispers in my ear a faint thank you. This completely confused me as I thought that this isn't the usual Kestrel. I asked her what for but she just looked at me with the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen in my entire life. Then she just stood up and walked out of the room. Her behaviour was too strange and what was she thanking me for.

After that strange accident I went downstairs to refill all the snacks…. As I walked down the stairs all I saw that everyone was there enjoying themselves. Most people where dancing in the living room which I had turned into a dance floor. Kestrel has joined Rowan on the dance floor and they both seem to be dancing around not caring about what anyone else thought. They both still looked amazing and you could see that all the guys from our school who came to say bye to Mark where staring directly at them. Well except one.

Ash was sitting at the arm chare which I had moved to the side of the wall. He was looking at his hands as if he was thinking deeply about something. Again this behaviours was very suspicious. I understand that he must be worried about his little sister moving away from home but he never seemed to care that much about anyone but himself. I was going to go over and make sure that he was feeling alright but all of a sudden he looked up and saw me staring at him. I swiftly moved my eyes away from him and started to carry on walking down the stairs but when I looked back to where ash was sitting he was no longer gone. I couldn't see him anywhere else in the room either and he was not a hard person to notice.

I carried on walking trying to dodge all the people in the living room but every few steps someone kept stopping me telling me that I can always count on them and that if I need anything to just let them know. I knew that hey where just being polite so I smiled and said thank you. I knew that if I actually rang them with a problem they would be like what is she doing ringing me, but it was still really nice of them.

Finally I made it into the kitchen. It took me almost 10 minutes to walk a distance I usually complete in a couple of seconds. The kitchen was deserted except Jade and Mark making out in the corner. I cleared my through and straight away Jade jumped away from Mark and spun around to see who it was.

When she saw my face my standing there with dismay she looked extremely relieved that it wasn't her parents. All of a sudden I had a skinny blond jumping on top of me giving me a massive hug… she began to cry saying that she is going to miss me and I reassured her that we will be in contact since she is like family to me. While saying that giving my little brother a wink which he just chuckled at. I finally pulled Jade of my neck and informed them that I am there to pop all the snacks out and that people were starting to wonder where they disappeared to.

As soon as I said that they both said bye and went into the other room. I was left all alone in the kitchen which felt good. Don't get that wrong I do like being around people but not this many and the people I actually do love.

Being left alone in the kitchen made me over think all the different events of the day. I just stood there looking at the wall projecting the events onto the white wall in front of me. All of a sudden I felt someone's arms around my arms and someone whispering something in my ear. I didn't catch what they were actually saying but I recognised the voice. How could I not recognize this lazy but yet sexy voice. It was no other then Ash standing there behind me. I turned around and there he was. His eyes staring right into mine.

I had to nearly force myself to ask him what he said but he wouldn't tell me. This annoyed me. I know he was only doing it to tease me as he has done multiple times to me at work. I decided to tickle it out of him so I reach down to his sides and slowly tickled him. He is a very ticklish person and so he burst out laughing and begging me to stop and grabbing my waist to try and stop me at which I replied that I won't stop unless he tells me what he said. All of a sudden the door slammed open which made us stop in the same spot in which we were standing. My hands on his sides and his on mine.

In the doorway stood Mr and Mrs Redfern looking directly at us. We were both paralysed with shock as their face suggested annoyance and a hint of fury. Ash looked terrified as he knew his parent where really strict on him having to marry someone of the same status as them. Ohhhh yeah I may have forgot to mention that his dad was a 'Lord' and so he had a very high status and he expected no other of his son. He married Mrs Redfern not for love but for tradition. This was clear of how they acted together they were both very stiff and they never showed any affection towards each other.

I and Ash are not a couple and as I said it was impossible for us to ever be together but the situation that we were in at that moment suggested otherwise. Finally I took my hands of ashes sides and that made him unfreeze and he quickly let go of my waist and started walking towards his dad but he just turned and walked away while his mother just mouthed sorry to Ash and followed the lead of her husband.

I started to apologise to Ash but his head seamed far away. I tried to comfort him but nothing work in the end. The only thing that could happen is him falling into my embrace while I held him tight until he stopped shaking. After that not much happened the party went on but I came up here to write this entry as I really felt like I needed to let all of the event of today go and I thought that writing all this information will help me feel a lot better and I have to say it has work. I will write in you soon as I have to have a proper talk with Ash about what happened with his parents as they ran out right after they saw us two together.

Hey guys, I have to say I am extremely sorry about not writing. It has been two years since I last posted but I guess I just got back into writing after I had a very inspiring lecture about how you need to do something to distress and this is something I used to do so I decided to go back to writing when I am able to and so for those of you who have read this story before I swear I will update more regularly
