The Next morning I whined at the human as he walked around the kitchen "You should do something else to apologize! Like a card or Flowers!"
He pulled out the pancake mix "Do you think Gigi would like these Rani?"
I barked "Don't try to cook anything!"
Nicky ignored me "Nah me neither...Besides I can't make pancakes anyways."
"You can't follow simple instructions on a box of pre-made mix? Are you SURE you want to do this Human?"
Nicky pulled out the egg carton and the milk "I'll cook Eggs!"
"Let me put this in simple little words: No cooking for you! Toast easy! Cook toast!"
Half an Hour Later
I growled at the human "Lets review what disasters have happened: You DUMPED egg on me, you burned MILK of all things while trying to warm it on the stove when there is a perfectly good Microwave on the counter and you are lucky she likes burnt toast. The only thing you didn't ruin was the tea but you made it in such a convoluted manner that you might have completely changed the taste. ARE YOU PROUD OF YOURSELF?!"
Nicky set it out on the dining room table "Perfect!"
"No. No its not perfect. Its burnt and the stench from the kitchen would stun a yak."
Gigi stumbled downstairs "Are you okay? I smelled burnt MILK of all things..."
She looked at the table "Did...you make breakfast?"
"Yeah I'm not that great at apologies either. So I made breakfast! The toast is burnt and there aren't many eggs because most of them landed on Rani...You know I think an apology might have been easier..."
Gigi hugged him "I forgive you! Thanks for thinking of me" She looked at Rani "Wow you really did dump egg on her..."
"Um...I'll join you after I wash the dog and clean the kitchen."
"Stay away from me you wreak of humanity!"
