Author Notes:
Chapter 7: Phantom Stand
Naruto disappeared before anyone could say anything.
"Air Magic?" Mirajane said.
"You heard him Natsu… we have to defeat the Elemental Four!" Gray said as he ran forward.
"Yeah, Happy." Natsu said as he ran forward with Elfman and Erza behind him.
Naruto reappeared before Jose who look shock to see Naruto standing there.
"Now I see. The so called Fairy King… the one who has caused so much trouble to me in the past is actually a boy." Jose said as he continues to sit down.
Naruto said nothing but glares at Jose who was smirking down upon him.
'This boy, according to what the Elemental Four told me he can manipulate the elemental's themselves. According to the rumors, he's as strong as a Wizarding Saint. This could mean trouble for me… no… I am the strongest. I cannot lose to Fairy Trash.'
"You can think all you want, you know you can't defeat me." Naruto said.
'Behind you Naruto.' Kurama said.
Naruto turns around and sees someone appear behind in a mist body.
"Metsu" Aria cried out with a wicked smile.
Naruto teleports out the way just as the spell almost took effect.
Naruto reappears behind Aria and attempted to hit him but the giant man turn to mist again and reappeared next to his Guild Master.
"Now I see, that's how you were able to defeat our Master. Jose, you distracted him while you had that weakling attack him with air magic from behind." Naruto replied.
"A tactic you've used in the past against my Elemental Four."
"I can't argue with that." Naruto said with a smile. "But you do know Aria can't defeat me." Naruto said as opens his hand. A magic circle appeared as Naruto cries out "Blizzard"
Aria quickly grabs Jose and turns them both to mist,. Leaving the magic spell too destroy the control room. Naruto ends the spell when he recognizes the threat has past. Naruto looks at the map of the giant fortress and quickly finds the central power of the Jupiter Cannon. Naruto turns to mist leaving the room behind.
Naruto walks up to the biggest lacrima he's ever seen and places his hand on it.
"I can't let you destroy that." A voice said. Naruto turns to see a familiar face.
Totomaru nearly fainted at the sight of Naruto.
"Naruto, I thought you were on a mission away from here."
"I was; then I heard Fairy Taili was in trouble so I came back." Naruto said.
Totomaru grabs his Katana and charges forward. Only for Natsu too suddenly appear and punch him in the face with a fire fist.
Naruto turns away and says "Ice Make: Pillar!" a huge chunk of ice appeared freezing the lacrima breaking finally breaking into a thousand pieces.
"Shit, I failed to protect the Lacrima." Tomomaru said as he stops Natsu's fire from reaching him. Natsu own fist of dragon flames suddenly punch him in the face.
"Natsu… this will be a test like you've never had… hopefully you'll overcome it. If you do, you'll end up stronger." Naruto said as he leaps up and walks back inside the giant building.
Sometime Later
"I really should have brought a map with me." Naruto said.
Without warning the building began to shake and Naruto looks up.
"Jupitor Cannon has been destroyed, the Phantom Elemental Four have been defeated causing the Abyss Break to be dispelled. However…" Naruto turns around to see Jose walking towards him. "We have Lucy Heartfilia."
"Just because you have her, doesn't mean that things will go your way and you can walk away from here." Naruto said.
"Gajeel-san is watching over here… there's not a single Fairy that can defeat him. And you cannot defeat me. Deddo Vēvu!" Jose shouted. Naruto places his hand up and the dark energy disappeared.
"So the second sets of rumors are true. No magic can work against you. Because you can dispel all types of magic. However, can you dispel this much?" Jose said as he cast nearly a dozen magical circles in front of him.
The dark spells came out Naruto who grins his teeth and place a dispelling shield in front of him.
"You're even better than I thought if you can dispel that much magic." Jose said.
"Cut the act Jose. You're at your limits of attacks just as I am at my limit of defense. We're at a stalemate." Naruto said.
Jose grins his teeth and just as Naruto wanted, Jose ended his multiple attacks and attacks with magic spells with more power in them.
Naruto dispels the attack and slams his hand on the ground causing the ground to rumble.
Jose immediately recognizes the danger and jumps up to avoid the earth from swallowing him up.
"Young, powerful and dangerous. Destroying you will be a great pleasure." Jose said.
'He was able to calm down in an instant he recognizes he was in danger. He defiantly ears the right to be called one of the Ten Great Wizard Saints. Tainting him will be useless as he can quickly regain his composure.' Naruto thought as he stood back up.
"You are skilled boy. But you are no match for me." A loud sound echo in the hall.
"Seems like both of our guild Dragon Slayers are going at it. I swear, don't they understand the meaning of restraint?" Naruto said as he turns his attention towards the sound. Naruto looks back and sees the darkness magic heading towards him. Quickly dispelling it he turns to face Master Jose. "Don't think I've lowered my guard just because of that little distraction." Naruto said.
Jose grinds his teeth and stood his ground. The battle was not going his way and he was starting to lose control of his self control.
'Even though I'm on the defense, I really don't have any openings to attack Jose. If I even attempt to attack then it will give Master Jose a chance for counter attack... what should I do?'
"Do you know why I didn't kill Makarov?" Jose asks.
"Because you couldn't." Naruto said.
"Don't pride yourself as being superior than Phantom Lord. I did it to cause him despair!" Jose said as he launches some magic bullets as Naruto slams his hand on the ground creating a earth shield. "When he wakes he'll come home to see his beloved guild and his children destroyed and broken. Can you imagine how he would feel? Heartbroken I'm sure. In the end, I'll destroy that man with despair and a sadness that never ends. I will not let him rest! I'll make him suffer till the end of his days! Then, Phantom Lord will once again be called the Strongest Guild in the Country."
"Don't kid yourself." Naruto said as he appears behind Jose, he requips and pulls out a sword in an attempt to slash Jose. Jose disappeared and reappeared behind Naruto.
"Phantom Lord was always number one and the best guild in all of Fiore. We had the best magic, the most talented people, and the most money in the country. However, Fairy Tail has suddenly gotten powerful in the past few years. The names of Erza Scarlet the famed Titania, Laxus, Mystogan and even Naruto the Fairy King has began to reach our ears and speak among the village where Phantom resided. Names such as these were being told all over the country and the people kept turning to Fairy Tail instead of Phantom Lord as they should have. It was then I realized that both Phantom Lord and Fairy Tail became the two signatures guilds in this country. I didn't like that, and I couldn't allow it. Especially when Fairy Tail is nothing but a guild full of trash and weaklings."
"Silence." Naruto cried out as he disappears with surprising speed. Jose disappears as well before both reappeared across the hall.
"So your saying you attack Fairy Tail and started an illegal guild war all because of some petty jealousy?" Naruto asks.
"Jealousy? Of course not! I wanted everyone to know our superiority!" Master Jose said. Naruto disappeared and quickly attacks Jose in hand to hand combat.
Jose jumps away grinding his teeth when he realized how good his opponent was in hand to hand combat.
Naruto appeared in front of Jose at incrediable speed, shock was written on Jose face.
Naruto punches Jose in the face causing the older man to fly back. Jose flips backwards and lands on his feet. He then fires at Naruto.
Naruto knowing Jose wanted him to dispel instead dodges and requips his clothes so he was just wearing pants and shoes with arm greaves.
Naruto creates a magical circlein front of his hand and fire came out causing Jose to create a dark dome to protect himself.
"I've long had a distaste for your guild, so the trigger to go to war was a trifle. But then came the request from Heartfilia-sama to return his long lost daughter of the Heartfilia Konzern. The daughter of one of the richest families in the country; a member of Fairy Tail? How big must your ego's must be for you to be satisfied? If you bastards got a hold of the Heartfilia's fortune than your power would be even greater than Phantom Lord's. I couldn't allow that." Jose said, as he came out of this dome.
"Your information is incorrect." Naruto said as he fires a snow at Jose.
"What do you mean?" Jose asks.
"Lucy is a runaway child who threw away any family ties she had. She no longer has the connections to the Heartfilia fortune any more than you do. Even if she is return home, she'll just run away again. She doesn't care about money like you."
"I'll keep her until I get the entire Heartfilia fortune!" Jose shouted.
"Her father would just give her up. He doesn't care about her." Naruto said.
Naruto fires a tri-elemental attack, his strongest at Jose while Jose fires another dead wave, both attacks collided and exploding sending both fighters flying backwards.
Naruto lands on the ground and starts panting.
Then, the ground starts to shake as if a violent earthquake was being unleashed. Naruto looks up and could see someone he wasn't expecting to see.
"Master." Naruto called out.
"Naruto, you've done well to fight Jose on equal ground. However, let me take things over from here." Makarov said.
"The others?" Naruto said as he stands up.
"Have already left. The guild could use some help against Jose's Shades." Makarov said.
Knowing his words were not a request Naruto turns to leave. Makarov suddenly light shield appears behind Naruto. Naruto turns around and it seemed like Jose was attempting to attack Naruto from behind.
Naruto runs out the window and jumps out. Knowing that with Master here, the battle was good as theirs.
After Fairy Law
"We beat Phantom!" The guild members cried out.
Naruto sat down and gave a smile. He'll make them do his training camp after they rebuild.

Author Note: I wanted Naruto strong, but not insanely strong enough to overpower Jose. I hope you guys enjoyed the fight. Also, for those of you who are reading Secrets of the Force, I have not ended that story, I'm still working on it, but I'm currently looking some stuff up on star wars wikia for information so it might be a bit before I update.
