After Veronica secured the gauze around her abdomen, she went to go find out if Jefferey Adams was really the one stealing Nelson's research. Not like it mattered to her or anything considering how much of douche Jefferey is, but she was still really curious to find out what was actually going on.
Veronica spotted a good friend walking down Hearst's main hallway. "Weevil, just the man I was looking for." Veronica grinned.
"Hey V, what's up?" Eli responded.
"Well Weevil, I was just wondering if you know where I can get a hold of some security tapes?" Veronica's grin got even bigger, as if it would help persuade Eli into helping her.
"What do you think I stole this time?"
"Actually this isn't about you.. this time." Veronica kidded. "But there's some business I have to take care of and if you can get me into the school's security system so I can look through some of the surveillance tapes that'd be great."
"What's in it for me?"
"Well actually you get a shiny! Brand New!" Veronica looked through her purse to see if she had anything that Weevil would be interested in. "Coupon! To.. Los Tacos Mexican Cuisine!"
"Oh! I see how it is.. just cause i'm Mexican ain't it?" Snapped Eli.
Veronica continued to show off the coupon as if it was a check for a million dollars. "No. I-"
"V! I'm playing with ya! Of course I'll help you out, but uh I would rather enjoy a cut of whatever you're making." Eli grinned.
"Fine."
"Alright, meet me in the main office tonight at 11."
"Sounds like a plan. Thank you Weevil."
"Don't mention it. Like seriously though if you mention it I could lose my job."
