Day 2 - Morning part 2 of 2 - Inu Pov

"You stupid well, why the hell won't you let me through damn it!" I shouted in frustration.

It was the forth time today that I've tried to jump in it. Nothing worked, hell I was tempted into breaking the damn thing, but luckily I calm down.

I jumped various times inside it and nothing happened, I didn't see the black and blue swirls to indicate that I was going to her time. Why the hell did this happen.

Punching the bottom in defeat, I crouched down and leaped out of there. Damn it, it didn't work at all again, I thought to myself, gritting my teeth, I could feel the metallic taste when my fang punctured my bottom lip.

Landing outside the well, I see Shippo siting down and topples over when I landed near him. "Runt, what the hell are ya doin' here?" I asked him, frankly I don't even know why I asked, eventually I'll just hit him on the head to shut him up.

Just by me seeing him, I was reminded by his earlier action. Stupid kit hitting me on the head with the damn rock, I gave 'em two thumps for that one. "Just you wait Inuyasha, you'll pay for that! When Kago-…" he stopped there and from what my ears pick up, I hear his sniffles and then the smell of tears drifted to my nose.

Curse it all to hell.

"C'mere runt," I call him forth. I notice that he hesitates in his movement, but slowly bounds toward me. Then, all of a sudden he starts to burst in tears.

Damnit again, I hated it when someone cried, especially if it is someone I know.

The fox kit's wails were getting on my damn nerves and if I didn't calm down, one angry taijiya would beat the hell out of me if I were to hit 'em more than twice.

"Oi, shut up, I can't hear myself think," I grumbled and rubbed my forehead. Why the hell did I call him and let him sit on my lap. For what? For him to start cryin' and drive me to insanity.

He sniffles and wipes his tears away, and that is when I notice the small smile on his face. "When do you think? I didn't think you think," he mutters teasingly.

I growl at the words he says and he raises his hands in self defense. Don't cha hit em', or else Sango will kill you with that boomerang of hers.

I let out a small sigh and I patted his head, it was something that my mother use to do and I've seen Kagome do too. His eyes widened in shock and then they return back to normal.

"Thanks Inuyasha," the kit says, smiling up at me. I turn my head away, narrowing my eyes like I always do.

"Keh, whatever runt. Just don't start cryin' again."

Author's Note

Yes another chapter. Frankly, I am unsure whether I should continue or not. I, myself, am enjoying this story when I get the time to write it. I hope you guys liked it.
