I know its been ages and im so so so sorry for that. I had the flu and just couldn't bare to write until my head stopped spinning.
"Phantom?" Danny shook his head, how could he run. What good would that do, all he's worked for could be lost just because he scared. No he wouldn't run. Danny phantom never runs away, he's going to face this like he faces everything. Head on and without fear. "coming" he hoped he sounded more confident then he felt.
The young white haired ghost entered the hall. All the elders stood and bowed to him. Not sure what else to do Danny also bowed and after seeing a small nod from clockwork he knew he had done the right thing. Under growth stood "welcome Danny Phantom to the council of elders, I believe you already know most of the council members" Danny stared at each elder in turn. Once he spotted Reaper he stopped. "What is she doing here!" the other elders stared at Reaper not sure what to say leaving the room in a awkward silence. It was Ghost writer who finally spoke. "Like us she is an elder, but we went informed you two had already met." All the members leaned closer to Reaper, all except Clock work. Reaper stood and slowly walk towards Danny. No one dared to breathe. "It was a brief encounter, one that I… regret. But I ask you to move past it now." She didn't wait for a response. Reaper again slowly walked to her seat and took her place. Danny looked like he wanted to argue, but one look from Clack work told him that would not be wise. After clearing his throat Under Growth continued "well… now. You know why you are here. You are to be crowned the new king of the ghost zone. But before that happens you must be tested by each of us, to prove you embody Hope, Creation, Dreams, Life, Time and Death." Your trials will begin when you least expect them." A portal appeared near Danny "until then young phantom".
Before he can fully proses the situation, Danny was sucked through the swirling portal back to earth. When Danny got back it was dark. He hoped that Sam and Tucker had covered for him. Taking out his phone he called his girlfriend. "Danny! Oh my God where have you been" he couldn't help but smile at her worried tone, touched by how much she cares about him. "I've been in the ghost zone, nothing to worry about… Sam, did you?" "tell your parents that you and Tucker were watching a movie at my place and that they didn't need to worry, then yes. I did just that" Danny sighed with relief. "Thanks, you're the best." "You owe me an explanation right now!" Groaning inwardly Danny agreed. "Fine ill come over and tell you guys" he hung up then checked around to see if anyone was about before changing. Two rings of light appeared around his torso. Before he flew off into the night sky.
After phasing through the roof and flying down to Sam's rooms, Danny was greeted by his girlfriend with first a hug then a punch in the arm. "What the hell Danny! What happened too day?" As he returned to his human form Danny sighed. "It's a long story… first things first I guess, I'm the new king of the Ghost Zone… sort of. I need to pass these tests given to me by the elders." Sam looked confused but didn't press for any more. "I'm just glad you're ok. When nether you or Dash showed up to class, I was scared that maybe something terrible had happened." The Goth turned away from the halva not wanting to meet his gaze. Danny placed his hands on her soldier's. He lightly kissed her on the back of her head. "You know me, I'll always be fine. And I'll always come back for you." Sam smiled. "You had better get home before it gets too late." For the first time since this morning he checked the time. "6:52! See ya Sam, I can't be late for curfew… Again!" with that in a great hurry Danny flew out of the window and headed home.
