Hey guys! Lunamon810 here. Someone messaged me earlier, asking if I was going to update. I told them I'd been thinking about the story recently, and had been meaning to. And so, my mind locked onto it and this happened. According to fanfiction, it's been nine months since I've updated. I had no idea it had been that long, and I am so sorry about that! I would've updated sooner if I had realized it. I hope this update makes up for it, and I hope to update more soon since I have some more ideas for this now.

Also, I apologize if a few things in here are a little... creepy. It just sort of happened that way.

Sakura Avalon stepped slowly towards the front gate of Ouran. She felt like the walk towards the school had taken much longer than it normally had, and she could've swore she passed the landmarks she used to make sure she was going the right way multiple times this morning. She figured she was just out of it and not paying attention, and headed on inside. She had barely passed through the gate when she heard her voice being called. When she looked around, there was no one to be seen. She was completely alone. That was odd, there were normally at least ten or fifteen people around, and at least six or seven cars. Instead, the sidewalks and road was empty.

"Sakura!" Sakura looked around a little more panickedly. Chills surged down her spine. Was it a ghost calling for her? She froze up at the thought of it, and closed her eyes. The calls multiplied, different voices now. She closed her eyes tighter and started crying. "Sakura!"

The voice was much clearer, and was next to her. Someone put their hands on her shoulders, and she looked up to see Kaoru. "Sakura. What's the matter? Why were you ignoring us?"

"I-Ignoring you? That was you guys calling? W-Where'd you-" Sakura looked around to see a good fifty or sixty people, and a line of cars dropping off students that went to the school. She blinked hard. Where had they all come from? Why hadn't she seen them or heard them?

"We tried to talk to you, but you weren't saying anything and you seemed to look right through us." Tamaki added on, sounding concerned, though still somewhat pleasant, as he always sounded.

"I-I was just… having a moment. Don't worry about me, okay?" Sakura said, smiling at them all. "Sorry to have worried you."

"It's alright, just don't do it again," Hikaru said, the twins having moved to either side of her as they started walking. "We were all afraid we'd done something to upset you."

"No, no! You guys couldn't upset me!" Sakura said reassuringly. They all said their goodbyes as they headed off to different classes. Sakura kept zoning out all day, wondering what all of that had been about earlier. Why hadn't she seen anyone or heard anyone clearly before that? They all looked a bit freaked out when she did see them, as if they'd seen something else she hadn't. Had she looked different?

When she slowly became able to focus on one or two questions, she tuned back into what her teacher was saying. Or she tried to, but couldn't. There was no one speaking. She looked up without lifting her head to see if she'd zoned out so long they were all doing work, but instead she saw that no one was around her at all. She looked at the clock, but it wasn't at all near lunch time or anything. She would've heard an alarm if one had gone off, not to mention the teacher wouldn't have left her behind. "Hello?"

Sakura slowly stood up and stepped around her desk, looking around her classroom. She looked through the glass window that looked into the hallway to see no one. Or so she thought. As she turned her head, she registered that she'd seen someone and looked back. There was a faceless girl standing there, and when she looked at where her face should've been an eerie grin spread across it's noseless, eyeless, earless face. She screamed and dropped to her knees, the fabric of her yellow dress being the only thing keeping her knees from hitting straight onto the tiles. The scream that had escaped her took a good thirty seconds to die out, and lingered in the silence for even longer.

Suddenly there were at least twenty people on their feet, looking at her. The teacher was talking worriedly to her, her hands on Sakura's shoulders. She was speaking to her, but Sakura was too shook up to process the words. Someone helped her stand up, and three students lead her to the nurse's office. The three proceeded to explain what happened to the nurse, but Sakura didn't notice as she sat in the chair they'd lead her to.

"Sweety, can you look at me please?" The nurse said, and Sakura soon realized she was in front of her. Sakura slowly looked up. "There we go. Alright. What spooked you?"

"I-I don't know…" After a good fifteen minutes of trying to figure out what happened, Sakura was sent back to class. She was silent the rest of the time, and in the rest of her classes. When the time came, Sakura went to the Host Club's room. She entered the room, but wasn't greeted. Instead, she heard the two twins arguing.

"I'm Hikaru!"

"And I'm Kaoru!"

"I'm telling you two, we know you're lying! Hikaru, your hair parts this way," There was a pause as Sakura assumed Tamaki motioned. "and Kaoru, your hair parts this way!" Another pause, and Sakura once again assumed Tamaki was motioning again. "Now stop joking around, and host these darling ladies with some sophistication."

"Uh, Tamaki?" Takami turned to Kyoya.

"What is it, Kyoya! Shouldn't you be hosting too?"

"You're not doing a very good job yourself, considering Ms. Avalon just walked in and I'm the only one who noticed."

"N-No! It's okay, you're all just busy, that's all! I'll just come back-"

"No, no! Come in, darling. Who would you like to be your host today? I apologize greatly for the absence of our greeting upon your arrival, the twins are playing pranks again."

"We're not joking! You're calling us by the wrong names!"

"Wait, Tamaki. Before you argue with them. Think about it. Their voices do sound like the twin they claim to sound like. Going by their bangs can't cut it, they could've just had their hair stylist change the direction to mess with us," Haruhi pointed out. "We need to come up with a different way to tell who's who. Like, again, by their voice. Also, they're claiming to be who they actually are because of their personalities."

"How… Can you tell?" Sakura asked, curious as to how their personalities were different. She didn't know who was who at any time, not even by the direction of their bangs.

"Well-"

"See, we were right! I'm Hikaru!" Hikaru's voice yelled, glaring at Tamaki. Tamaki sighed and nodded, not ready to argue with his dear, precious Haruhi.

"Then why are their bangs different? They weren't like that when we arrived here this morning." Kyoya brought up. Kaoru made a noise of frustration.

"Exactly! We've been trying to tell you guys! We were trying to catch the chameleon thing that knocked over some of the tea sets, and suddenly we weren't in our own bodies! Something happened!" Sakura's eyes slowly widened. Could it have possibly have been the Change?

As they all continued to argue, Sakura wondered about that in silence. She closed her eyes and focused. She definitely sensed a clow card, but what were the chances of it still being the Change? She sighed, remembering how slippery the chameleon-looking spirit had been the first time she had to catch it. Could she do it again, without the help of Li or Madison?

"Where did the chameleon go?"

"It ran off of school grounds, so we couldn't go after it anymore," Kaoru responded, looking at her. "It's probably long gone by now. I guess it won't be that different, being in Hikaru's body." After he said this, Kaoru started going on about how it wouldn't be the same to love someone who lived in his own body, but 'he had to make it work'. Sakura sighed and focused again. If the Change card had run off the campus, then why could she still sense a card?

After school finally finished, Sakura felt like the walk home was even longer than it the path was to get to the school that morning. She decided to try something. She picked a flower from the grass and laid it on the ground, then started walking. She kept her eyes on the sidewalk, and there was no flower in sight. But all of the sudden, there was one right at her feet, just how she'd left the previous one. She slowly turned, and took a step. when she turned her head, the flower wasn't behind her. She took a step backwards, and the flower was back.

She closed her eyes and focused. There were two different presences. Her eyes snapped open as she looked around. Was the Change here? She looked nervously around her. There were too many people, she couldn't catch any cards here if there were any. Though if the reason she kept going in circles was the reason she thought it was - The Loop card. - then she didn't have much of a choice. She knew she had to take the chance. Especially since someone had passed her and started walking. They would loop back.

"Key of the stars with power burning bright, reveal the staff and shine your light! Release!" Sakura looked around once again to make sure no one was looking her way, extremely nervous about the whole thing. She held the Shield card close to her heart. "Please, please be able to do what I need of you, Shield. Please." She took a deep breath and tossed the card into the air, spinning the staff between her fingers. "Shield card, hide me from the sight of those around me. Release!"

She touched the end of her staff to the card, and a dome of some type of aura surrounded her. Someone looked over her way, probably having seen her moving out of the corner of her eye before releasing the card. Sakura waved to see if she could be seen, but the boy looked away. Sakura took a deep breath, knowing she needed to move quickly. Now what, I don't have anything to cut it with… Oh, I know!" She pulled the wood card out of her pocket and tossed it in the air. "Wood! Create me a sword out of wood, Wood!"

The sword she requested formed into her hands, and as it did she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Please be enough, please be enough!" Once the sword stopped glowing and the glow dulled down so she could clearly see it was made of wood, she looked closely for the thin red line the Loop Card should create on the ground. When she finally spotted it after about two minutes of looking, she severed the line with the sword. She was already shaky from using so much magic, so she returned the Wood card. She then spun her staff between her fingers again. "Loop card, return to your power confined, Loop!"

White light streamed from the red ribbon-like thing floating and squirming in the air in front of her. At the end of her staff, a glowing card-shape slowly began to form. Her hands shook as the held it steady, trying to keep her magic going long enough to return it and Shield. Finally, the card became solid and turned pink, and it floated into her hands. She quickly returned the Shield and her staff, and slowly walked home. She was too afraid of passing out to walk any faster.

As she approached her apartment complex, she stopped dead. For a brief moment, it had looked as if it was on fire. At second glance though, it seemed to be just fine. No flames, no smoke, and no panicking people. She sighed, figuring the reflective building materials were just reflecting the light of the sun and creating that illusion. She headed on inside to her apartment, and she collapsed on the couch the moment she got close enough.

"Hey, Sakura! Are you gonna make me pudding like you promised?" Kero asked immediately, landing on the table next to the couch. "Hey, what's the matter? Did something happen at school?"

"No, no. Not at school… On the way home, I caught the Loop. But-"

"That's awesome!"

"Well, that part is. But I had to use Shield to keep me from being seen, Wood to sever the red line, and… I had to seal the Loop."

"Oh, I see. Your magic is drained," Sakura nodded tiredly. "Aren't you at least going to change into more comfortable clothes first?"

Sakura looked at herself, realizing she was still wearing the yellow dress from school. She had already displayed her discontent over it before, finding it to be both uncomfortable and not very pretty. She nodded tiredly and went to her bedroom, closing the door behind her. She changed into green shorts and a pink t-shirt, then reopened her door and collapsed on her bed this time. Kero flew in and landed on her nightstand. "I don't know, Sakura. This is getting dangerous for you. Just look at you, you're completely worn out and it's only four fifteen."

"I'll be alright, Kero. I just need to rest for a bit this time. I'm sure most captures won't take so many cards… Wait a second!" Sakura shot up into a sitting position. "I forgot about the Change card!"

"What about it?" Kero asked, tilting his head.

"I think it switched my friends' bodies! They said they were chasing a chameleon, then they were each other. Their voices were coming from the completely wrong body… I have to help them!" Sakura stood up and headed towards the door, but Kero chased after her and flew about a foot in front of her face so she would stop.

"Sakura, I know you're worried, but you can't seal it right now! You're too tired! The Change's effects will wear off after twenty-four hours. Your friends are just going to have to wait it out."

"Kero, if I wait too long the Change card could escape me completely and keep using it's power! Then my powers could be exposed to everyone when I try to capture it, because everyone will be after it! Not to mention it'd be cruel to let it switch everyone's bodies around!"

"Sakura, I understand and agree with you, but we don't have much of a choice here!" Sakura swayed to the left, and she would've hit the floor if Kero hadn't flown under her and used every ounce of strength in his small, lion cub plush-like body to keep her up. "Please Sakura, just lay down for right now."

"Okay… Okay…" Sakura responded quietly. She slowly made her way back to her room, and she laid down on her bed. She closed her eyes and relaxed, immediately falling asleep. She didn't dream of anything of too much importance, nothing she could remember anyways.

When she did wake up, it was seven-thirty. The sun had already gone down, and her phone was ringing. She sat up and immediately answered it, seeing it was her father's number. "Hello?"

"Sakura! I was so worried, you weren't picking up. Is everything okay? Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, I had just fallen asleep."

Her dad sighed with relief. "That's a relief. Well, I just called to tell you I won't make it home tonight. I'll be camping with some of my buddies here, we think we've found something."

Sakura smiled a little bit, though sadness tinted it. "That sounds like fun. Well, don't worry about me, dad. I'll be just fine here tonight."

"Are you positive? I can come home tonight if you need me to-"

"No, no! I'll be just fine."

Her dad sighed again. "Alright. I promise I'll cook you whatever you want when I come home. I have to go though, we're doing roll call now. Goodnight, Sakura. Love you."

"Night dad, love you too." Sakura sighed once her dad hung up.

"He not coming home tonight, I take it?" Sakura shook her head, sighing. "Sorry, Sakura. I know it must be hard, your dad not being home as much as you're used to. Well, do you at least feel any better now?"

Sakura smiled and looked up at him, considering he was floating half a foot away from her, about an inch above her eye level. "Yeah, I feel better. No worries, Kero. I'm not back to perfect, but I'm certain I can make your pudding now. And my dinner."

Kero looked cautious as Sakura stood up, but grinned as he saw she was walking fine. "Alright, pudding!"

Once Sakura had Kero's pudding cooling in the fridge, Sakura started fixing spaghetti for herself. As she did such, she heard Kero say her name. "Yeah, Kero?" He repeated her name. "Yes, Kero?"

Kero's voice kept calling her name, but no matter what Sakura responded with, he seemed to not hear her. "What is it, Kero!" Sakura spun on her heel, glaring in the direction his voice was coming from. Instead of seeing Kero, the girl from the school earlier sat there. Sakura's stomach churned, looking at her. She was sitting on one of the stools across from her, the only thing separating them the kitchen bar-counter, which was a lot easier to get to her through than the window.

Sakura shrieked and jumped back, her back slamming against the counter top as she slid down. The girl started laughing as her eyes opened into existence, black holes of nothingness. Sakura closed her eyes and screamed, slamming her hands of her ears as the girl started laughing. When she opened her eyes again, having heard something fall, Kero was in front of her and the girl's laughing was gone.

"Sakura, what happened!?"

"T-There was a girl… T-The… The…"

"I sensed the presence of a clow card, I'm sure it was just one of them." Kero said, trying to comfort her. Sakura shakily nodded and slowly stood back up, and she went back to cooking her spaghetti. Kero stayed on her shoulder to comfort her, having put together that she hadn't been able to see him when she saw the girl. She made a bowl of spaghetti for both of them, and the two ate in almost silence for the first few minutes. When Kero noticed Sakura repetitively looking over her shoulder, he started talking about different types of sweets he'd tried over the years, and he tried to convince her to make a few as well.

"Sakura-"

"I sense it too," Sakura said, cutting him off and putting a finger to her lips. She slowly picked up the cards from the counter, took her staff off her neck, and stepped towards the window. Down below was the chameleon she'd caught back before she'd even known about Yui. "Change is here."

"Are you strong enough to catch it right now? Be honest with me, Sakura."

"I am." Sakura nodded confidently. She pocketed her cell phone and strapped on her skates, as well as her helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads. She used the wheelchair ramp to get down to the bottom, and slowly made her way to the chameleon. It went running when it noticed her. Sakura skated faster, determined to get her hands on it. She looked at the ten cards in her hand.

"Sakura, I wouldn't-"

Kero was cut off by Sakura releasing her staff and using the loop card. She waited for the card to pop back in to her side, and she used the wood to cage it. "Return to your power confined, Change!" The same scene as before happened, then the new card floated to her hand. She returned the other two cards as well, checked around to make sure no one saw anything, as she had been doing the whole time, then slowly, groggily made her way back to her apartment.

"Sakura, that was extremely danger-" Kero realized that Sakura had already passed out on the couch, and he just sighed. "You should be more careful, Sakura…"
