It's been a while, minna!

I have been away for a long time and I really apologize for that. I stopped writing stories because of my problems. When I was re-reading my own story in fanfiction, I almost cried.

"It's such a cliffhanger" I thought to myself while whimpering. "What happened next?" I idiotically asked myself; completely forgetting the fact that I'm the author here. hahaha!

And now... I have made my comeback. xD

The next morning after Kidd and Killer joined the Straw Hat's and Heart Pirate's secret alliance.

Last night, Nami couldn't sleep at all. The talk with Kidd made her realized something; Kidd has those kind of feelings for her?! Since when?! Nami sat up on her bed and sighed deeply. She was feeling confused. She don't know how to react in front of Kidd now, since he told her that he likes her; in a different way.

"Nami? You look troubled. Are you alright?" Robin stood in front of her.

Nami snapped out of her deep thoughts. "Eh? No, I am fine! Seriously!" She waved her hand nervously.

Robin eyed her friend suspiciously. "I see." She turn around and grabbed the door knob. "I will go ahead towards the kitchen, Nami. You should clear up your head soon." The archaeologist smiled and went outside the girl's room. She closed the door behind her and giggled.

"Nico Robin?" Franky raised his eyebrows confusingly. "Did something good happen?"

"Who knows?" Robin walked on ahead, leaving the confused cyborg behind.

Nami looked at the mirror and sighed again. How should she faced the scary captain? She hoped that nothing awkward will happen between them. She hoped that everything will be just the same as they were in the past.

*FlashBack

This happened when Eustass offered Nami in their crew while the Straw Hats are in the 2 years separation.

"So, where's your treasure cabin?" Nami excitedly asked behind Kidd, who was leading the way inside their pirate ship.

"Who the hell would tell a cat burglar like you?!" Kidd irritatingly growled. "Look here, you are here in order for me to torture you! You're that Straw Hat's underling!"

"Excuse me, but I am not an underling! I am Luffy's friend! A comrade! Na-Ka-Ma!" Nami spelled it out for Kidd while pouting.

"Whatever." Kidd huffed. He stopped walking and Nami, who was walking behind him, bumped into him.

"Hey, don't stop suddenly." Nami painfully touched her nose. "Your back is damn hard!"

"Something is coming." Kidd breathed out.

In a moment, an explosion crashed on the side of the ship. Kidd's crew immediately ran towards their deck to see what's happening.

"Captain Kidd!" A member ran towards Kidd and Nami. "A pirate crew just attacked us out of nowhere!"

"Seriously." Kidd growled again and walked towards the deck with Nami and the member following him behind.

Once they're on the deck, Kidd stood up straight while looking at the jolly roger of the pirate ship. Nami saw the flag and sweat dropped. Obviously, she knows who it was.

"IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET HURT, HAND OVER US YOUR TREASURE AND ALSO CAT BURGLAR NAMI!" The captain of the enemy's crew shouted from their pirate ship.

"Do you know them, Nami-girl?" Killer asked. At first, he was shocked when Kidd decided to bring a Straw Hat along with them but he will respect Kidd's decision. It's been an hour since Nami boarded their ship.

"Kind of." Nami laughed nervously. "I stole the earlier treasures from them."

"Say what you want but they're not getting their filthy hands on MY ship and treasures." Kidd bump his fists while grinning madly.

"Sure Sure." Nami grinned evilly. She don't care who win but she's planning not to get caught up in this fight. While they're fighting, she'll carefully sneak out.

"I REPEAT! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO -!" The enemy didn't continue his speech when he noticed that Kidd's ship clashed to their ship already.

"BRING IT." Kidd stood up with a scary face on top of the rails with his crew on the background. They also have a scary aura around them.

The enemy's crew brought out their weapons and started to fight.

Among the midst of fight, Nami secretly entered the enemy's ship and searched for their remaining treasures. It was her job after all for her own.

While sneaking among the rooms, she didn't see an enemy behind her. The enemy grinned and brought out a couple of handcuffs. He immediately locked Nami's left wrist with the handcuff. Nami shrieked and kicked the enemy; he wouldn't budge.

"Let's see… How lucky am I to have such a woman into our territory." The enemy licked his lips disgustingly. "What to do, what to do?" His eyes wandered around Nami's body which made her feel ultimately disgusted.

"Eww. If you're good looking than your current face, I wouldn't mind but you look like a gorilla!" Nami blurted out. "Let go of me!"

"You made me laugh, sweetheart." The man laughed and pinned Nami into a wall.

"Hey watch it!" Nami felt pain in her back. The man began sniffing Nami's neck like a pervert.

"Stop it! You stink!" Nami yelled. "Go away!"

"Shut up or I'll shut you up with my mouth!" The enemy warned.

"That's the most disgusting thing I have ever heard!" Nami made a face that looks like she was about to puke.

The enemy's face came close to Nami's inches by inches. Nami quickly pursed her lips inside and closed her eyes. The disgusting kiss never came. Nami opened an eye and revealed an outrageous scene. A large hand was covering the man's face from behind.

"Why don't you shout out for help, you stupid woman!" Kidd yelled angrily.

The enemy squirmed under Kidd's large hands. He raised his own hand and began hitting Kidd's hands. He accidentally brought the handcuff with Nami's wrist and locked Kidd's right hand. Now the two are locked in the same handcuffs.

"Eh?" Kidd and Nami blinked. "WHAT?!"

Kidd kicked the enemy's stomach and he went flying across the room, angrily.

"Why did you kick him!?" Nami shouted.

"He pissed me off and now he locked us in this stupid handcuff." Kidd answered.

"Now we can't get the key!" Nami faced palmed. "Please think before you act!"

"I can just destroy it!" Kidd answered back. He hated being lectured.

"Please do it fast." Nami sighed. "I'm getting tired."

Kidd huffed and touched the handcuff with his free hand. His eyes became dizzy. He grabbed his head and blinked. "Don't tell me it's Kairouseki."

"HA!?" Nami gaped. Of course, Eustass is a devil fruit user! He is useless against Kairouseki, it weakens him. "Are you alright?!"

"I am fine, damn woman." Kidd yelled. "Let's hurry up and get to the treasure room of this stupid ship."

"Why?! We should get you to your pirate ship!" Nami put her hands on his waist to support his weakening body.

"Do I look like an idiot?" Kidd looked at her with intense eyes. "You almost get touched by that gorilla because you're here in this area; to steal treasures! Why go back when you almost got raped?!"

"HA?! Please don't use the word 'rape'. It's disgusting me, seriously." Nami huffed. "Anyway, as much as I love treasures, someone's entire being is important to me too."

Kidd looked at her surprisingly. Maybe this woman is not as bad as he thought. He couldn't hold it back. As much as he wanted to stay conscious, the Kairouseki is strong. His vision blacked out.

Nami felt a tick on her forehead. Great, now she have to carry this big guy who was cuffed with her!

She gathered all her strength to carry Kidd in her shoulder. When she made it to the enemy's deck, she saw the enemy's crew all beaten up. Killer and the others are all waiting for their captain outside.

"What happened to him?" Killer ran towards the two.

"He was cuffed with Kairouseki." Nami explained.

Killer quickly moved beside Kid and have his left shoulder support against Killer. "Let's go, Nami-girl."

Nami nodded quickly.

After the long-short battle, Kidd was resting in his bed, still asleep. Nami was beside him all the time. Don't get her wrong, she was beside him because they're still cuffed.

Killer and Heat entered the room.

"Did you find the key?" Nami asked them.

"Unfortunately, NO." Killer shook his head. "Heat is going to the town tomorrow morning to get a key duplicate in the town."

Heat stood in front of Nami and look at the cuff. "It's probably going to take a while though."

"Eh?" Nami looked down at Kid's state. She felt guilty. She knew how weak is a devil-fruit user if they were cuffed by Kairouseki. If only she didn't get greedy and sneak into the enemy's ship, then none of these would've happen.

Killer saw Nami's state and patted her head. "He'll be fine. He's just weak for now but once he regain his consciousness, he'll be back in his scary self."

Nami nodded and smiled a bit. At least, she wanted the scary Kidd than the weak-looking Kidd. Without her thought, Killer and Heat went out from the room and left her with their captain. She looked at Kidd's sleeping state. She remembered what Kidd has said earlier during the fight. His phrase somehow made her happy. He might be a bit selfish and scary but once she get to know him a bit, he's pretty caring.

Nami leaned in and smile at Kidd. Her forehead touched his and she whispered. "Thank you for saving me." Then, she pecked Kidd's forehead. She slumped back to her chair beside Kidd's bed. After a while, she fell asleep while holding Kidd's hand. (The one that was cuffed together with her hand)

She didn't know that Kidd's one eye was looking at her secretly while his other free hand covers his mouth to keep from making any sound. Mind you, his face is beet red.

"Nami!" Luffy grinned from the kitchen door. "Hurry up! Sanji won't let us eat without you!"

"I get it! I get it!" Nami sighed while closing the room's door.

"Good morning, Nami-ya." Law greeted her from the lawn deck. Nami walked towards him and nodded. "Did something happen?"

"N-not really." Nami scratched her cheeks lightly. The two began to walk towards the kitchen. When Law opened the kitchen door, all eyes were on them.

"What's this? You're finally getting it on?" Zoro laughed while looking back and forth between Nami and Law. Of course, he would secretly glance at Kidd.

"Who are you kidding, damn algae?" Sanji gritted his teeth comically. "Of course, my Nami-swan wouldn't like such guy. And I guess Law would want a high standard woman."

Nami didn't care much about the two StrawHat members's topic; but she saw Law smirked and knew that he was scheming something.

"Who knows? Maybe she is my standard woman." Law smirked and sat beside Chopper who was choking due to surprise.

Nami sweatdropped. Yep, he is definitely scheming something. Why say that when it's not the truth? She caught a glance at Kidd who was talking with Killer. Maybe he didn't hear Law's remark?

She don't know why but somewhere inside her wanted Kidd to be a little jealous.

"I don't care about anything else, let's just EAT!" Luffy whined.

Upon hearing the young captain, they proceeded without any more bothersome thoughts. Law and Chopper talked about some medical things. Sanji kept on lecturing Brook about table manners. Franky and Usopp talked about some new inventions. Zoro and Luffy talked with some Heart Pirates. Nami and Robin talked with each other. Nami would sometimes glance at Kidd; but he never glance at her once, making her a bit disappointed.

As usual, the kitchen is loud and messy.

"Why is she glancing at me?!" Kidd whispered nervously at Killer beside him. "Did I do something wrong?!"

"Who knows?" Killer chuckled.

Kidd sighed and looked at his plate slightly. He was listening since the beginning about Law and Nami. He is hurt and he can't do a thing in front of everybody.

I managed to update this story before test week.

I will try to start updating weekly or daily if my mind can cope up with schools and internet.
