Whoa... So you guys know how you read your E-mail and fanfic tells you when someone faved, followed, or reviewed? Well I check my email and see so many people on fanfic blow up my email and i'm just sitting here like Did They liked it THIS good?! So keep up the favs follow and reviews because I LOVE them. Pabu: Whoa its been a while! Um she doesn't own Legend of Korra and stuff so enjoy!
Iroh looked at the avatar with a reassuring yet uneasy smile "Everything is going to be fine. Someone called the paramedics ." He tried to make her feel comfortable but by the way her face scrunched up, he knew she wasn't really comfortable. He held on to her until he saw Mako grab Korra and picked her up bridal style. He murmured comfortable words as her face scrunched up in pain.
"Everything's gonna be fine." He was a little uneasy himself but continued to murmuring to her.
"Everything is not fine!" She growled back her face scrunched up as she whimpered.
"Mako, the paramedics are here!" Bolin shouted as a man with a stretcher came right behind him. Mako put Korra on as the men pushed her outside into the night. The wind blew and the air was cold. Mako,who put on his jacket, stepped inside the ambulance truck as they loaded the stretcher and a few supplies and shut the door tight.
"Mako it hurts." She whimpered a few tears escaping her eyes. "Why did you have to knock me up?" he could tell there was a dangerous tone in her voice, but remained calm and collected.
"I'm sorry Kor," He kissed her temple, and she somehow was able to swat his face away.
"Your not sorry! This is all your fault!" she moaned out. He laughed and she glared at him darkly "Its not funny!" she growled.
"Officer Mako," The nurse next to him said. "I'm afraid once we get to the hospital, you're going to need to wait in the sitting room." Her voice was small but she managed to make it heard.
"I don't think you understand, i'm her-" he tried to say but was cut off by the nurse
"I understand you are the father, but to make this process quick and to hold your daughter or son, we must not have no distractions, or her yelling a you." She blinked at him her face serious. Mako nodded understandingly and put his head against the wall of the truck closing his eyes and listening to his wife scream.
"Your mad at me." He opened his eyes to see his wife, flinching but not screaming, staring at him with a pout and tears in her eyes. He turned to her and looked at her incredulously.
"No not at all. I'm happy, very happy. I mean, who wouldn't? Were going to have a baby!" He smiled at her and kissed her on the lips. She turned her gaze to the roof and bit back a scream and sighed instead.
"You look stressed and- and." She started to cry more letting out shaken sobs
"Korra," he grabbed her hand and put his face next to hers. "I love you so much and i'm just stressed because I don't like hearing you in pain, i'm not mad at you I promise. Now stop crying love." He kissed her on the mouth softly.
The car stopped and he looked at the nurse.
"We're here." she nodded at him and the back doors opened."
"Ready to do this?" he looked at his wife who smiled at him
"More than ready. Lets do this Hotshot." she grinned and he smiled
"That's the Korra I know. Go do this thing avatar." he kissed her on the head, "I'll be outside the door."( I'm going to do Pov for Mako and Korra soon.)
They took the stretcher out and busted through the doors. Mako ran behind them and sat at the chair next to the door.
Korra's Pov (By the way i'm not good with birth so give me a break.)
"Okay avatar Korra, its time to see if you're going to have a baby!" They sat her on the hospital bed and strapped a hospital gown on her.
"Now do you feel a great amount of pain or are you in like a wave of pain that gets worst each moment?" the nursed lied the avatar down, washed her hands and put a cold rag on the panting avatar.
"Waves." she said breathlessly moaning in pain.
"Okay this means you are not fully dilated, We will check every hour how dilated you are." She smiled at the avatar.
"How exactly do you check?" The avatar sighed out. the doctor smiled
"Well we simply.." She whispered the rest to the avatar, who eyes grew wide and looked at the doctor as if she was a spider snake with three heads.
"You must be joking right?" The doctor shook her head 'No.' and the avatar groaned. The doctor laughed.
"Well you seem to be about four centimeters so we can bring your husband in and if your dilated ten centimeters he will have to leave." The avatar nodded and waited for them to get her husband.
Mako Pov
"So they stick there fingers...?" Korra nodded and giggled slightly before wincing.
"Well avatar it seems you have dilated another four centimeters! This is good and it's only been four hours!" She smiled widely "You might feel more pain." she frowned slightly but perked up "Are you hungry? Want me to get you food?" Korra face brightened up at the sound of food.
"Yes!" she screamed out. The nurse chuckled and left the room leaving Mako, Korra and a few other nurses in the room.
"So Tenzin, Pema, the airbending kids, my brother, and Asami said they will be coming soon." He kissed her hand and then all her fingers. Korra giggled.
"Well that's nice of them." she lied down trying to sleep but felt a really sharp pain, worst than the one at the city hall, and screamed loudly.
"Are you okay?" Mako panicked "Whats wrong? Do I need to call the nurse?" He grabbed his hair and hyperventilated
"No, Mako. Mako!" He stopped and looked at her. "I'm fine it's just the pain is bad I didn't dilate!" She put a hand on her husbands cheek. He sighed in relief and chuckled.
"I guess I was panicking a little too much." She raised a brow at him.
"A little?" He rolled his eyes and she laughed then said a little 'Oooo'.
Korra's Pov.
I heard the door knock but kept my eyes close wincing and whimpering or maybe a little scream once in a while.
"Come in." Mako said as the door turned to show Tenzin, Pema and the rest of the gang.
"Is Korra asleep?" Ikki's voice rang and the nurse, who was throwing the avatars tray that was filled with food away, spoke quietly.
"I don't think so, but be very quiet, she needs peace." they all nodded and sat down in the seats, Pema on Korras left hand side while Mako was on the right.
"Aww Your child is gonna be beautiful I know it." Pema put her hand on the avatars cheek.
Korra opened her eyes and smiled a bit weakly. "Thanks." She mumbled and sighed. "Its been eleven hours." she closed her eyes and felt a strong current sweep her. She tried to whimper but it hurt to bad. She screamed,
Very, very very loud.
Everyone winced and Mako looked at them all "She never screamed that loud." he looked at his wife who was panting and whimpering hard.
"Coming. It. Now! she gasped out and arched her back as her body spazed. Everyone looked alert and freaked out as the avatar screamed. The nurse checked her and nodded. Ten centimeters. "Everyone out now!" everyone walked out and Mako kissed his wife then left.
"Okay Korra i'm going to need you to take a big deep breath!" Korra did just that.
"Push!" The avatar pushed as hard as she could and screamed loudly.
"Keep going!" She tried again. And more screaming entered the room.
"perfect but i need you to push harder and a few more!" Korra cried and tried to take in a deep gulp of air
"I-I cant!" she whimpered "Too much pain." she cried
"You're the avatar you can do this!" The nurse coaxed. Korra nodded and tried again
Mako pov
Mako walked back and forth as he heard is wife scream louder and louder. He was going to open the door but Tenzin grabbed him back.
"You cant go in there and you know it." He tried to relax the firebender.
"I cant stand here and hear her in pain like this!" He said desperatly.
"I know but you have to be patient." MAko sighed sat down and hit his head against the wall.
he heard the nurse scream 'One more push." and a scream from korra then.
Another scream
But it was different it was small and little like. like.
A baby.
Mako blinked at the door waiting for the news. The door opened and the nurse came out. She looked at him and smiled.
"It's a boy." she said warmly. Mako, who was crying and laughing, stood up.
"Can I see them now?"
"Of-." they were all cut by another scream from Korra. The nurse ran in and ran back out.
"It seem's your having more than one child." She smiled even brighter. Mako fazed out
Two?
Two kids...
Two!
He Smiled widly "You mean, twins?!" He screamed. She nodded and walked back inside
Korra pov
"There beautiful." she said she held one baby while Mako held the other. he looked up
"Yeah, just like there mother." She smiled and he wringed her loose finger with his.
"A baby girl and a baby boy. Perfect." She smiled at the babies. The boy had soft jet black hair blue eyes and a mixture of the parents skin. The girl had brown hair gold eyes light skin.
"Mako?" She stared at her husband.
"Hmm.?" He continued to look at his baby girl.
"I love you." she smiled at him and he looked up at her and smiled.
"I love you too."
