Wow, well I am shamelessly back here. It has been over 2 years since this story has been updated and Jess hasn't been on ahs for years now (I will forever mourn her from leaving). I know I have been MIA for approximately 2 years off of my "regular" updates, seeing as they were never regular in the first place. I deeply and sincerely apologize. It's no excuse to not have even put out an A/N but life got in the way, and when it wasn't life, I was relaxing and when it wasn't that, I had a lack of inspiration, and when it wasn't that, I had writers block. So yes, things have happened, but I'm very slowly getting back in the swing of the writing motions, I have been writing a little for GH lately tho. It's been a hot minute since I've wrote anything at all for even my personal sake, and the only real writing I've ever done was for school in my classes (some material personal but graded). To think that the last time I updated something I was still in high school, and now, I'm a graduate! Enough about that though, I only referenced it to show the length of time I've put off from putting any new material out on this site. ALOT has happened within this year and a half to influence my timelines and writing subjects on AHS as well as the other fandoms I write for. Pregnancy will ALWAYS be a hot topic for me, especially when it comes to a Jlange character on AHS (or Tracy from GH; depending on what you read from me). I hope you all can forgive and continue to read what I put out into the world! Chapter 7: For the Rest of my Life (part 1)

Eve lifted her hands to her mouth gasping as she gazed at the reflective jewel that rested gently in the velvet red box that Jimmy had pulled out of his pocket.

"Jimmy-, it's so beautiful. How could you afford that?" Eve was in awe.

"Isn't it? Flashy. Just like her." Jimmy smiled knowing the jewel he chose was the right one. "I've been saving up, sent the cash in and had them mail it so they don't turn me away." Eve patted her friend on the shoulder.

"You did a good job. Not that I'd expect anything less from you. You plan on giving that to her tomorrow?"

"Something like that. I need your help." Jimmy had a few tricks up his sleeve about this present. It wasn't about to be some ordinary wrapped Christmas gift, it was a special gift therefore, it deserved a special delivery.

Jimmy came up behind his lover giving her a peck on the cheek.

"How are you feeling?"

"Very well. I'm happy we aren't somewhere where winter actually exists."

"Really? Aren't you used to wintery Christmases? Truthfully though, I couldn't agree with you more. I'd be freezing my ass off right now if we were back in Wisconsin. "

"I hope our child inherits my thick skin and blood, and yes, I am, but bundling up in this condition wouldn't be very comfortable."

"I hope they do too." Jimmy slipped under the silky, mauve covers on the king sized bed, watching Elsa finish up her nighttime beauty routine. Fancy European creams, elixirs and serums crowed the space on the vanity in front of her. Elsa made her way to the bed and sat on the edge removing her prosthetics, shifting herself under the covers. "You sure you're ok." Elsa nodded.

"The worst of it is over apparently. No more morning sickness. I'm grateful for that much."

"I'm glad you're feeling better then." Jimmy gave Elsa a peck on the lips. "Let's get some rest, it's a special day tomorrow."

"Goodnight, meine liebe."

"Night." Jimmy smiled to himself as his partner rolled over to her side slowly drifting off to sleep. When Jimmy said the next day would be special, he didn't just mean Christmas day; 20 minutes later, Elsa was deep in her sleep leading to the perfect opportunity for Jimmy to do exactly what he planned to do. Removing a tiny ring from a tiny box and placing it on someone's finger was no small feat for someone like Jimmy, aside from a male committing to marriage, his hands made the task even more difficult.

"Goddammit. How the hell am I gonna put this on her while she's asleep?"

"Just keep trying. Practice makes perfect." Eve held out her hand for Jimmy to continue trying to place the ring on her pinky for practice.

"You got this man." A small whispered pep talk, and Jimmy delicately lifted Elsa's left hand slowly sliding the glamorous ring on that finger. "Mission accomplished." He kissed her hand lightly, resting down it where it once laid. He marveled at the ring on her finger. That picture in his eyes was exactly how he felt it should be. Nothing felt more right in the world at that moment. He felt the nickname 'wife', was a long-time coming, but all that was about to change.

The bright sun illuminated the false crystals dangling from all corners of the room. The mauve and pink drapes that covered the star's tent that morning appeared warm in their colors. It was nothing short of the exact opposite of a picture perfect Christmas morning. Dragging her arm across her face in attempt to wipe the sleep from her eyes, Elsa stretched and reached her arms out to the opposite side of the bed to wake her sleeping lover, only to find he wasn't there. It seemed that those days she was sleeping in later than usual; Elsa chocked it up to the pregnancy. If Jimmy was up and out, it had to be way past the time she normally got up, so Elsa fixed herself right up to the edge of her bed and began to grab her prosthetics and in the process of clasping them on she immediately put a halt to what she was doing.

"Oh mein gott." A breathless whisper escaped her lips as she raised her left hand to the light allowing every single diamond embedded into the cast of the ring to sparkle.

"It's even prettier on you that I imagined." Elsa whipped her head around to see her boyfriend standing in the entryway of where she sat. "Merry Christmas."

"Y-you put this on-?"

"Who else but? I did it while you were sleeping last night, took a lot of practice and some help from Eve, but I got it."

"How- how did you afford this?"

"Been saving up for a while now. I knew someday this would happen."

"What are you saying?"

"Oh baby, you know exactly what I'm saying." Jimmy got down on one knee in front of the love of his life and grabbed her left hand. This was a moment neither of them dreamed of happening. "Elsa, you are the woman of my dreams, the one who I never dreamed of. It's so surreal that the same woman that saved me has become someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. You've become so much more to me than just a savior, more than a friend, more than the mother of my child and even more than my lover. I want to call you my wife not just for the title or for any other reason but, because I love you."

"Jimmy. I-I don't- I don't know what to say." Elsa was left nearly speechless and teary eyed.

"Baby, there's only one thing I need you to say. Will you spend the rest of your life with me? Marry me." Elsa nodded her head rigorously.

"Yes, yes, yes! Yes I will marry you, Jimmy Darling." Jimmy lifted his fiancé into his arms as she wrapped her arms around his neck, almost crying into their kiss, both of their faces were wet with tears.

"Nein, stop the crying." Elsa wiped the streaming tears from Jimmy's face, sniffling and wiping the corners of her own eyes.

"I'm crying because you've given me a life I've only ever dreamed of. Being a husband and a father was only ever that; just a dream, and it's all real because of you." Elsa placed a loving hand on Jimmy's cheek.

"Oh, darling, I could say the same." The newly-engaged spent a deserved few minutes kissing, indulging in another new celebration of their own. "Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas." It was only those few words that allowed them to break apart, and quickly pick up where they left off. The couple really did make the holidays something more to celebrate that year.

Ahhhh! It's been a long-time coming this update! I've been rewatching freak show and this couple has never left my head! They are really gnawing at me lately (Jude and Kit on asylum as well, I have them all over my Family Ties of Blood story. Pretty much those two Jess+Evan pairings) I'm so excited to be back and hope you all will have me back! This was a difficult task for me to come back to, so be gentle, lol.
