I deleted the last chapter, Ready and get Set, because I wanted to rewrite it, and merge it with the newest chapter. Come on! We need one more review!

Sorry, this chapter took longer than expected. For the last two weeks I have been working on an English project, it was fun, but hard and took almost all my spare time. I also went to a seven hour paddle workshop Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I'm still sore from lugging heavy wood around.

In this chapter, we learn that I can not write fight scenes, and certainly not dragon/predacon fights XD

"Ultra Magnus, Wheeljack, Bulkhead; attack from the front, we shall come in from behind." Optimus Prime said, turning and pointing to a scan map on the screen that ratchet had managed to salvage from their old base.

"Than we wait until their back up arrives, then take them on as well." Bulkhead guessed.

"Precisely." Optimus said with a nod of his head.

"Why are we doing that?" Miko asked.

{We?} Magnus questioned, watching her suspiciously.

"I mean, why are you guys doing that? Why not just attack the first group than leave?"

She asked

"To take out more than just a few cons, we need to cut down their numbers if we're want to defeat them." Arcee said, with a wave of her hand.

Optimus nodded, then turned to the ground bridge.

With a silent nodded, Ratchet opened the ground bridge, and ,Optimus motioned for the first team to head though.

As the wreckers headed into the spinning vortex

Optimus stopped Magnus, holding out a hand. "Good luck." He said.

This took Magnus by surprise. {Thank you sir... But I do believe it will not be necessary...}

Optimus just smiled, and waved him on his way.

Ultra Magnus stepped through the ground bridge, and into the view of the decepticons, the ground bridge had opened right in front of the mine, right in the view of a group of Vehicons.

One let out a shriek. "The autobots have a predacon?!"

Dragon! Magnus thought, letting out a growl, and went right to work.

With a swift flick of his giant paw, he knocked the group apart, before they had the time to even ready their guns, still stuck, frozen in terror at the sight of the huge blue dragon.

This gave the distraction needed for Optimus Prime, and the second attack team to sneak around the back, hiding in the bushes, waiting for the coast to be clear.

It also gave Bulkhead and Wheeljack time to skirt around Magnus, and begin picking off the scattered cons. Magnus, climbed into the cave, looking around. He shifted uncomfortably, the dark, cramped space reminded him all too much of Shockwave's lab.

The cave was small, only one more con was hiding inside, sending out a distress call to the decepticon ship, Magnus dragged him out, and handed him over to Wheeljack. {Optimus, Sir?}

*Yes?* The leader asked over the Comm-Link, that miraculously stilled worked with the dragon.

{All the decepticons are taken care.}

*Good work Magnus, we now just have to wait until their back-up arrives.*

Magnus weaseled his way out of the cave, careful to avoid flattening his comrades. He sat down near the edge of the clearing, most of his body covered by the trees.

It didn't take long for a roar to echo through the woods, and a back speck to appear on the horizon, as it got closer, several smaller objects began to take shapes near it.

The real fight was coming, and Magnus was ready.

In a storm of claws, teeth and fire breath, Ultra Magnus and Predaking tumble through the clearing, they had taken out several tree's already.

Ultra Magnus had managed to get the upper hand... or well, paw.

He was had the Predacon pinned down, his huge blue paws on the beast's chest. He was trying to get to his neck, but his opponent had other ideas. The predacon was trying to snap at his neck in return, almost succeeding a few time.

With a growl, Predaking managed to slip his paws out of Magnus' grip and pushed the blue dragon of of him.

Magnus stumbled back, rising up on his two hind legs, to swat at his opponents snout. His blue scale covered in dirt, and his wings covered in mud and leaves.

The predacon growled, roaring in to Magnus' face, before taking in to the air, challenging Magnus to join him in fight in his element.

After a moment's hesitation, Magnus leaped into the air to follow.

The predacon began soaring into the air, higher and higher, until he breached the clouds. Magnus hesitated. He was in the Predaking's element now.

Up here the air as thin and cold, he had to beat his wings faster and hard just to keep in altitude. The clouds would block his view most of the time.

A roar from within the clouds returned his attention to the fight.

He flapped his wings, and climbed higher till his head cleared the clouds, looking around, he began to panic, where was the predacon?

He immediately dropped altitude, and fell out of the clouds, until he was a while below them.

The predacon swoop out from the clouds, irritated that his trick didn't work. He must have been hiding in the clouds, planning to attack from where he couldn't be seen.

Magnus dodged out of the way of blast of flames, rolling through the air.

Than he got an idea, it was a tactic used in seeker aerial combat, taught to him by none other than the Autobot Jetfire, for use when he was flying his spaceship.'

Certain seekers couldn't fly above certain altitudes, Magnus' ship could fly at them all.

Magnus beat his wings, that we slowly getting tired, but he had to try. He soared in the clouds, than flying faster until he soared high above the clouds, soaring ever higher.

That's when the first signs of trouble started.

As the predacon flew up towards him, the large blue dragon began to feel light headed, ice crusted his wings, making them heavier and hard to stay aloft. It began to feel like he was being crushed as the predacon swooped at just barely deflected the blows with his front legs, he processor began to spin, and his vision began to blur. A blast of flame hit his flank, burning the scales. Just then, a pressure in his head, and the world went black and the last thing that he knew, was the feeling of falling, and a loud roar of triumph.

And there we have it. An epic failure of a fight. Anyway, we have a big surprise coming up soon! Can anyone guess what it is?
