Hi again, a pretty quick upload from me for once as of late, yep essays are done and sent off and I don't have any lectures until the 27th ah, the life of a student! Its dull as hell. And Im the boring kind of student. But anyway... on with the story!

The trek back from their treasure hunt was most certainly long and awkward for everyone. Most of all for Penguin, Shachi and Bepo; the three of them looked between the leader of the group and the distant looking Mizu. She usually kept herself away from the battles, choosing to ignore the world around here when they raided other ships and as she was banned from being on land for a while she never witnessed the bar fights they usually ended up in.

Eventually Law broke the silence, "You are aware woman, when we get back you have to clean the equipment?"

Much to their surprise Mizu answered calmly and without swearing, "I was aware that, that would be a strong possibility, yes."

"Good, after that I need you head down to my office to get a check-up." Law ordered flowing into his doctor mode.

Mizu nodded even though he couldn't see. She shifted the bag on her back to make it more comfortable on her aching shoulder, making the contents rattled loudly. "Again, I thought as much."

Shachi leant over to Penguin and asked what the hell was going on and Penguin merely shrugged wondering the exact same thing. Their silent concern came to an end when they heard people talking. Law motioned for quiet and Mizu held onto Bepo's arm for reassurance. They heard three voices talking from behind the bush they walking past.

"Are you sure boss meant here?"

"There's no other summer islands 'round 'ere."

"He must have meant here, look, tracks. Someone's been here."

"If they've took 'is treasure 'e'll be pissed."

"More than pissed. He'll kill them, then gut us. We'd better find them, before they find us."

Mizu looked at her crews expressions and found them to be completely serious and this concerned her, would they kill them? Sneak past them? Or just go for the boss they're on about? There were so many possibilities floating round her head which made her nauseous thinking about them.

"Mizu-ya. Hide." Law ordered pointing to a particularly big bush accompanied by big thorns. Not wanting to argue with the Captain she practically dived into the bush. The thorns nipped at her skin as she covered her ears blocking out the world. "Oi, cleaning-ya come out."

Mizu opened her eyes and saw Penguin holding out a hand towards her. She took it shakily and followed the guys without much complaint. After getting back to the ship Mizu grabbed a cup of tea. After drowning herself in another (few) cup's she bid goodbye to the guys and began her cleaning. After the tools used where sparkling she placed them back into the cupboard and headed down to meet Law. She knocked on the door and waited for the 'come in' and slumped into the seat provided.

Without turning to her, which seemed to be a running theme with him, he said "I'm going to check your heart rate and your breathing as well as your reaction rates." She nodded and let him do his work. She hated to admit that the man was a great doctor, even brilliant but she didn't acknowledge that part of her thoughts. "They're all fine, have you had trouble sleeping recently?"

Mizu cocked her head to the side wondering whether he'd caught her sneaking into the kitchen at night and making herself a cup of tea. "What do you mean by that?"

"I don't know how to put that simpler? Are you unable to sleep for some reason?" he replied waving an impatient hand at her. Mizu didn't reply. She only stared at Law, who couldn't take the silence and turned to face her. "I need to know. Unless you don't want me to help you and you can suffer in silence and get off this ship as you really will become useless."

"I can't sleep. I don't know why, I just can't." She replied

"Because you're starting to realise that you're on a pirate ship and we kill people." He offered, scribbling something down onto his notes. Mizu nodded, for some reason feeling ashamed of herself. "I'm not going to say, it the fighting is unavoidable because sometimes it can be avoided, we just do it for fun and for the glory. But in the end, it's us or them. And I want it to be me. With or without you. So either get over this or I'll drop you off at the next town. What's it going to be?"

Mizu thought about it for a second and asked tentatively "How can I get over it?"

The doctor shrugged and sighed "That's up to you. I'm not that kind of Doctor. So get out and be careful or you'll have a panic attack."

Mizu plastered on a grin and slapped Law playfully on the arm "You could be nicer you know. I just cleaned up your crap up in record time." She got up to leave and looked back at the doctor who in the time it took to get to the door, had become absorbed in his newest medical textbook.

"Stop staring and get out."

"Thanks Captain." Law nodded and waved at her to get out. 'He's not the big bad wolf after all.'

"Did you and the Captain make-up?" Shachi asked at dinner hopefully.

"In a way," Mizu glanced round at all her new, in a weird way, friends. A small smile creeped onto her face, "he made me think about things in differently." She replied cryptically leading to a barrage of questions. Which was ended with the eventual arrivial of the Captain himself, leading to another fun dinner. With the Captain and his witty responses and Mizu arguing back just like old times. Their table once again erupting with laughter and no one missed the smiles (or smirks) on the pair's face.

They sailed towards the next island which according to the navigator could take up till a week. Which left the 'how much of the treasure am I going to get' question on Mizu's mind; after all she did enjoy looking at shiny objects. She used to drool over a necklace in a shop window back on the island. Until it got sold, then she resorted to looking at it longingly from a distance like a perverted stalker. The passing out of the treasure, of course went by rank after the cut for supplies and repairs were sorted out 'peacefully'. So Law got the majority and Mizu would be given something akin to one small pearl. Funnily enough one small pearl she got, she even got the pearl that was misshapen. In the end, Law just gave it to her as there was not much point attempting to sell it. So she kept it as a memento instead. The following day at dinner Shachi decided it would be fun to taunt Mizu using a shiny gold necklace he'd taken from his cut of the treasure. Penguin and Bepo didn't even trying to stifle their laughter at the young woman's eyes following the shiny gold necklace sway hypnotically from side to side.

"Doesn't she remind you of a cat right now?" asked Penguin watching Mizu watching the pendant.

"More like a magpie." Law stated taking a bite out of his dinner. "Stop that as she's starting to drool on the table."

"Aww but this is so much fun." He whined pulling the necklace away from Mizu's sight and began laughing as her eyes flicked quickly over to the table where the pendant had glinted from the light bouncing off it.

Law smirked flicked a pea at the cleaners head grinning internally as she looked around the group with a confused expression causing the group to laugh again. "But what happened to the shiny?"

"The shiny's gone away now cleaner-ya."

Mizu glared at the Captain and huffed, crossing her arms as well as her legs she turned away from the man. "You always have to be a dumbass don't you?"

"This coming from 'what happened to the shiny'?" Law replied flicking another pea at her. Though, this one managed to wiggle itself into her ear earning him a yelp and Mizu managing to knock her drink over by kneeing the table in surprise. "Do I need to say anything else Cleaner-ya?"

"Shut up and leave off the shiny. The shiny's so pretty, it needs someone to love and care for it."

Penguin sighed and smacked her upside the head. "Sometimes you really prove his point." She blinked and asked what point. "That you're an idiot."

Thanks for reading and I hope you've enjoyed it until here and yes another weakness of Mizu's is shiny objects. Don't laugh its a serious condition! What could befall the crew next time? Could it be a round of cliché bets? Oh no! Not cliché bets.
Once again another big thank you to; 10th Squad 3rd Seat, Shiningheart of ThunderClan, NightStar85, DaniCali28 and KnightingaleProduction for reviewing the last chapter, they're awesome.
