Blair jumped into her town car and immediately felt the tears come, "He's not playing games with me, he knows me, he knows I'm not some call girl" She said to herself as she let the tears fall now that she was in the safety of her families town car the divider slowly coming down " Where to Ms. Waldorf?" the driver asked her " The Empire" she said the car slowly began to make its way through the busy New York traffic. Sniffling she took out her compact from her purse looking at herself in the mirror; her eyes were puffy from the tears, and her nose and cheeks red and splotchy, she could'nt show up at Chucks looking like such a mess, he'd go running for the hills and she might loose her chance that thought alone made her well up. How was she suppose to act around him if she was upset, Chuck was not a girl friend type in any sense of the word and she wasn't a call girl. And the idea that he would run at any drop of emotion she threw his way was unsettling and made her mind fill with doubts, and worries she had yet to explore until Serena burst her bubble. She knocked on the window, " On second thought just take me home please." the driver nodded texting Dorota to start a bath for her she leaned her head against the window and let the tears fall freely at the many ways that her budding new flame could be snuffed out before it even had a chance.

Nate left shortly after he finished his drink with Chuck, saying his Grandfather had some Vanderbilt family situation Nate just had to attend, so Chuck decided to look over some papers regarding the international Bass hotels when he was attacked by angry blonde that only a second of shock allowed him to place that it was Serena who was fiercely yelling at him " How could you do this to her! No not even her! How could you do this to Nate! Because I know he asked you, and you just blatantly ignore your so called best friend! Im amazed you even have friends with the way you treat them! I thought with Nate on my side I could relax and trust you wouldn't do anything stupid! But NO, if you ruin her Chuck I SWEAR, I SWEAR to god I will skin you and turn you into one of my designer bags!" she stopped only to take a breath and Chucks only response was " How did you even get in here?" she gave him the meanest look that he had ever seen on the normally bubbly blonds face "I found it at Nate's." she said smacking the key down on the dark marble counter top, taking another breath that looked like another rant about how she was going to skin him, when Chuck quickly responded " And if you just gave me one second I would explain like I just did a half an hour ago to your boy toy that I know Blair is different and I wouldn't dream of treating her no less then she deserves and that is no less then the queen she is and it will be the last thing I do if I hurt her and I dont intend on hurting her. Also im pretty sure Blair would make sure it was the last thing I did, if I did in fact hurt her." she stared at him blankly " Oh and hello to you too, S." he sneered turning back to his papers.

" So... This isnt just some game your playing? You actually like... you like Blair, prim proper Blair?" Serena asked with the sound of disbelief in her voice Chuck sighed not even turning to look at her " Yes, is it really that hard to believe, shes a gorgeous woman?" Chuck said not adding that he was Chuck Bass he wasnt an idiot, Serena managed to add that herself however " But your Chuck Bass, and obviously Blair is gorgeous but womanizer Chuck Bass is infatuated with Blair Waldorf? Blair Waldorf who has only ever slept with one other man, who she was practically engaged to is going out with New York's very own man whore." she started laughing " I glad you find this funny, S" she fell back on the couch " It's just that she was literally one word away from being a real princess, she had the prince although shes falling for the beast." she said looking over at Chuck " God damn it who was this tight wearing fairy tale boyfriend that I keep hearing about!" setting down his scotch a little too hard Serena jumping a bit "I would have thought you would have read about him in her file your PI gave you about her." she trailed off, " You didnt read her file yet did you?" she said surprise laced in her voice " I didnt want to read about her."
He said turning his back to Serena "This is real Chuck isnt it? You really like her, you like Blair?" she asked getting up off the couch " Yes Serena, I like Blair for the tenth time." he said taking a sip of his scotch. Serena got up and inched torwards the door, "Uhm Chuck, see uhm.." Chuck looked over to an uneasy looking Vanderwoodsen, " Spit it out S." she shuffled a bit closer to the door " Well see, when Blair told me about you date and all I thought you were just playing games, you know "Im Chuck Bass"" she tried mimicking his voice uneasily " And well I might have put some doubts in her head about you, and seeing as shes not here right now you might have some damage control." she winced as she saw Chucks jaw harden, "Just be thankful you just happen to be dating my best friend right now, S." He practically spit the last letter out, " Chuck im so-" Chuck turned back to his papers his shoulders tense "Leave." "Chu-" Chuck rolled his shoulders "I said get out" he said almost too calmly staring down at his papers which now were blaring red in his vision. A few minutes after Serena left,Chuck grabbed his phone and text "Im coming over." walking onto the elevator.

When Blair arrived home Dorota immediately informed her that her bath was ready and waiting for her, being that it was going on the later side of 6 o'clock Blair dismissed her lovely maid for the night opting to order room service later if she was hungry, throwing her bag and phone on her bed and kicking off her heels Blair tiptoes onto the cold bathroom floor. Blair smiled when she entered,Dorota truly knew her well. Her bath was filled with bubbles, no doubt the perfect temperature, with lavender vanilla candle lit all around, the finishing touch was a box of Godiva chocolates with a glass of wine on the edge of the tub. Blair sighed just looking at it,stripping down only took a matter of minutes as she sunk down into her bubbly oasis, although turning off her thoughts seemed harder than usual as she tried to relax her fight with Serena kept playing in her head and the tears kept springing in her eyes as she smashed them closed trying to calm herself, along with that the worry that Chuck might be using her had her heat ache. Somewhere in Blair's own personal hell she dosed off, only to be woken up with someone hoisting her out of the now luke warm bath tub with a shock her first reaction was to push the stranger away getting in a weak sleep ridden push "Blair" instantly recognizing the voice "Chuck? What are you doing here?" her voice riddled with confusion she couldnt have slept through the night the bath water was still laced with warmth " I texted you that I was coming." he said setting her down grabbing the towel off the counter wrapping it around her gently her lips forming a silent "o" while her eyes drifted to her now dying bath "I must have missed it" she said not wanting to meet his eyes "You know your not suppose to swim alone, I think that also includes falling asleep in the bath tub with wine." Chuck said trying to lighten the mood.

Blair let out a halfhearted chuckle " And why would you even care?" she said walking into her room, Blair knew it was a low blow considering Chuck did nothing, but possibly save her from a watery death. But the conversation Serena and her had early still rang fresh in her mind and heart and Blair always the one to lash out to see who really cared about her. "Blair" Chuck said in a sigh, following her out grabbing her hand and spinning her around "I care, because your the first girl ive ever-" Chuck struggled to finish and Blair finished for him " Not slept with on first glance, yeah I know Chuck, my mother has already filled me in that i'm forever lacking in the leggy, skinny, blonde department." She said throwing up her arms in frustration not even realizing that she let the towel drop. Chucks eyes immediately turning dark with the petite fiery brunette standing in front of him paining him he looked away "Blair" his voice husky bending down to grab her towel she gasped just realizing herself, being very careful to not look up he handed it too her ,and she immediately wrapped it around herself angrily stomping away " Blair, Stop!" Chuck sad grabbing her hand and pulling her straight into his ches Holding her firmly he started listing " First I didn't sleep with you right away because Nate forbid me to, and trust me that was hard." She tried to pus away " Secondly, your mothers an idiot to not realize your beauty, because I did he moment I set my eyes on you." Blair relaxed into his chest a bit, " And thirdly, I care because your the only girl that I have ever met that mirrors my loyalty to the ones I love, and yet can turn right around and destroy a person while wearing heels and looking more beautiful than ever. Your wit is enchanting. And your one of the only people in this world that can keep up with my snark. Your the first girl i've ever grown to respect and I like you." Chuck sighed " So whatever Serena told you about me it doesn't apply to us, were Chuck and Blair, im not just Chuck Bass when your in the picture." Blair fully melted into him " That was more than three things" she whispered, Chuck loosened his grip on her, pulling back " And there are many more if you'd like me to continue."
