Hokay. I am back and I am ready to give SOMETHING after that insane cliffhanger. Wow, that was a big one, and I am so sorry that I had not updated sooner, you just have to know that I have been excruciatingly busy with school. Wow, has it taken a toll on me with glee, Speech and Debate, my brother starting a band, trying out for the school play, working on sound, tutoring, a girls therapy group, God knows what else and still managing to pass all classes. But I have drawn a butt-load of pictures while listening to a book on tape in English and listening to the soothing and monotone voice of my Anatomy teacher in class. ^_^ but enough stalling and on with the story, I am BACK BABY, and I do hope that you all like this little installment.

"Rin... Rin!" Sango said as Rin slips from the van and runs down the street to get away. Sango shouts running after her to try and calm and help her. Kagome hangs her mouth open to the news as she only slides out herself and rushes back to the front door of the house. She walks in expecting to see the two bands feuding for a pre-band Battle, but she only sees Izayoi giving Sesshomaru an ice pack for an apparent bloody fist.
"What happened? Where is everybody?" Kagome says eying the blood. "What did you do?" she rushes to his aide. Sesshomaru only inhales sharply as he holds his left hand tightly.
"Naraku wouldn't keep his big mouth shut, so Sesshomaru shut it for him." Inuyasha says dropping some asprin into Sesshomaru's mouth as he takes a sudden large gulp to swallow them dry.
"Oh, now I realize that Naraku became the bold little cookie," Izayoi starts walking back into the room with a pale of water and a rag. Sesshomaru shows little to no emotion as she cleans his wound. "But remember that he is from the other side of the country, the side where the rules are a little tompsy-turvy." she smiles.
"And Miroku?" Kagome starts.
"He decided to go after them. Where the hell is Sango?" Inuyasha asks plopping in a seat.
"She - well Rin took off when... When she saw Naraku, I guess. Sango went after her as fast as she could."
"Where is Rin?" Sesshomaru suddenly starts.
"Didn't you hear me? I just said that she ran off-"
"Where?" he becomes a little testy.
"Take a breather there, "Incredible Hulk" and let me explain." Kagome shielded herself with her arms as he made a hissing sound to the dab of cloth that Izayoi used on his hand. "Dang Sesshomaru, you didn't shed a tear when you almost lose that arm in that fight with Inuyasha, but this boo boo is taking the toll on you?" she giggled nervously.
"That's my girl," Inuyasha says. "Now get ready for the world of hurt," he laughed.
Sesshomaru slowly stands as his rather large body belittles her tiny figure. He looks down at her in expectation, eyes narrowed and growing more and more patient of the imputant human girl. "I said," his voice rather dark compared to his usual monotone voice. "Where. Is. Rin." he stated more than he asked.
"Listen, Sesshomaru, Rin is really afraid of Naraku. More than likely, she just ran to get away from him. She just went down the street and should be caught up with Sango by now. Given her circumstances, she is just shaken by her past." she says as best as she can trying to avoid saying things that should really be said by Rin herself.
"Oh, come now. I know that Naraku can com off as a bit of a brute, and isn't exactly the most plesent person, but he isn't -"
"Mrs. Inutakahashi, forgive me, but Rin didn't just run for no reason. She didn't just look to his face and run- well... Okay she did- but - ugh!" Kagome can't say it right. "Okay, they have known each other prior to this meeting right?" they nod, "Well there past is as plesent as Naraku himself, lets just put it at that." 'You're doing good Kagome.'
"Why is she so afraid of him? Did he do something to hurt her?" Izayoi asks in concern holding the damp cloth to her chest. Kagome doesn't reply as she just looks to Sesshomaru. He lowers his gaze to her, dead in the eyes demanding an answer.
"Tell me," Sesshomaru, regardless of his sudden anger, remains calm. But Kagome remains silent. They look to each other until Kagome sighs in defeat and looks to the ground.
"Look, I don't want to invade her privacy. If you want to know what happened to her, then ask her yourself. I have-"
"Oh God, Kagome! Just tell us what he did to her. If its bad enough then we need to know NOW!" Inuyasha steps- rather barges in suddenly with a yell. She flinches and sighs again and rolls her eyes, one again, in defeat. 'He is going to be pissed!'
"When she was... A long time ago - well, I don't exactly know... *sigh*... He raped her." she says plainly. She shoots her gaze to Sesshomaru as if she was in trouble.
Izayoi rushes to Kagome in an instant. "Kagome, are you absolutely sure that is what Rin said?" Izayoi wanted a definite answer. Kagome only nods.
"Yeah," she pauses. "I'm sure... There was a lot of crying, but the word 'rape' was in there."
His eyes went from demanding to cold. His anger turned into something else; something darker. His eyes lower as Kagome swears that she heard a sudden growl from under his breath. With nothing else, he clonches his fists oh, so tightly and paces out of the front door.
"He's mad," Inuyasha rhetorically states as he rushes to the door himself. "If anyone comes back, tell him that I went after him." Inuyasha rushes after his brother. Kagome just looks to the door.
"I shouldn't have said anything. I should have made her tell him." she says kicking the floor. Izayoi only pulls her close and leads her to the back door.
"No, you did the right thing, dear. I just hope that Sesshomaru does the same. Highly doubting that he will, lets go and get Mr. Inutakahashi. Inuyasha needs more help than himself to hold back Sesshomaru. But let him release some steam." she smiles to Kagome as she looks back at the door.

Sango swiftly closes the door ever so slightly and tiptoes her way away from Rin's room. Traveling as fast as she can without waking the sleeping rock from her slumber, she makes it into the living area seeing everyone in thinking mode. Hoping that it is okay to walk within a safe distance in front of Sesshomaru, she rushes from his side to sit under Miroku's arm. It's quiet.
"So I am just guessing that our "guests" will not be staying." Shippo tunes in at an absolute moment.
"Ya think?" Inuyasha spits back with a seldom phrase "little twerp" shortly after.
"Is she asleep?" Kagome kindly asks looking to the stairs.
"Yeah, finally. My Lord, it took a wrestle to her bed, a large gulp of "NyQuil", a quick 20 minute sob, and a rampage when I told her that you told everyone what happened to her. Then the real drama came when I told her that she had to sleep alone. After that she pretty much crashed." Sango half smiled with a shrug.
"Two words, Sesshomaru; Diplomatic Immunity!" Inyasha suddenly starts again. "This bastard is so protected it isn't freakin funny. He can hang a parson in front of the white house while doing a musical number and he wouldn't get, quote, "caught"! He can go to Scandinavia and he'd be under the fucking government protection!" He takes out paper from the side of his seat and looks to it in a sigh. "Dude, he is under such protection, his sperm needs a background check!" he spits in frustration. Kagome shot a glance to him in obvious anger thinking extremely loudly that the comment he had made was inappropriate. He looks to see an angry face that can even scare him from time to time. "What" he shrugs.
"Thank you captain obvious!" Miroku suddenly spoke.
"Well, what are we going to do now? He can't perform while he is there. Its dangerous and he will drive her mental. If not physically, then mentally for sure." Sango started.
"Poor thing. She wants this so bad, and that - night crawler - is the only thing keeping her away! It's not fair!" Kirara spoke out of turn.
"But, man we have worked hard on this, and she took the librity of knowing every single little rif and small trick that Sesshomaru has up his sleeve, we can't just not do this." Miroku says.
"Absolutely, and Sorry for Rin, but I am NOT missing this again! This year, we had all agreed it was all or nothing." Inuyasha continues.
"Inuyasha," Kagome insists.
"I don't care. I don't like him one bit, and you all know that. No one is safe until he is behind bars. I can't stand him and I certainly would not have minded if Sesshomaru wnt ahead and ripped his little gutless turds out on the floor of the "Ocean View suite". God, I hate him!" Sango clenches her fists.
"Sango, you know that Rin would be saying the same thing if not more. This means the world to her too, she won't give up that easily." Kagome calms her friend.
"Yeah, and while we are there, I don't see why we can't use the old fashioned buddy system. Everyone can be paired up. Me and Sango, Inuyasha and Kagome Shippo and Kirara, and Sesshomaru and Rin." Miroku similes at his brilliant plan.
"Wow," Sango has an epiphany. "That's really ironic." she blinks out or realization.
"Huh..." Kagome is not deep in thought.
"Buddy system, shmuddy system! Lets just go kick his furry white ass!" Inuaysha stands an motions to Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru only shakes his head at the pathetic brain span of his little brother.
"Are you not conciseness enough to comprehend what you have just read allowed on paper? It is pointless to attack when he is expecting it. We need to think of strategy, not stupidity." Sesshomaru states.
"Here's an idea," someone suddenly enters;
Mr. Inutakahashi.
Everyone looks to him with his wife on his arms. "Why not sleep on it. I know that this is a large burden and that we all need to think of something, but lets just get to bed. You are all jet-lagged, and no one is really thinking straight. Everyone, go get some sleep and we will continue this discussion in the morning. And you better believe that I will not stand for this. We will all figure this out." he says with a smile as both adults shoo all of the kids to their designated rooms.
"Why do I feel as if we have suddenly entered into a cheesy "Cullen Family" fanfiction?" Sango asks as the groups snicker and giggle before retreating into a deep and well needed slumber.
Well... All but one...
You guessed it!
Sesshomaru can't bare to sleep. All he can is think; think endless thoughts of plans and unwanted thoughts of what kind of crap she had endured with that rat. He can do nothing more than sit on his bed and... think. His mind wonders off to dangerous places, places that will drive him to the state of oppression and make him do things that he should not do, not without the consent of his father anyway. If there is one word that Sesshomaru trusts, it is his fathers. His dad has never steered him wrong before, and he refuses to take any action with him. His father is a precious commodity to have in a situation like this. He is a, more than worthy, adversary and Sesshomaru is grateful. Yet he just can't shake it. What exactly did he do to Rin, and what gives him the right to even consider looking at her let alone touching. He is playing an extremely dangerous game, and he is about to lose. It has been apparent that Naraku has not been the brightest crayon in the box, but one would assume that we was certainly smarter than that. Sesshomaru continues to plot in his head, but the deprivation of sleep is already getting to him and he can do nothing else but to simply and quietly walk out of his room and enter into the room next door to see a dark bedroom with a silhouette of a small yet sure figure sleeping soundly.
Enhancing his eyes to the darkness, he sees the small and fragile Rin, worry and almost a decaying of hurt on her face as if she looks to be fighting dreams with nightmares. Taking a silent breath, Sesshomaru walks to the furthest corner of the room to find a rather comfortable looking chair and sits, looking at and all around Rin, keeping hyper-aware of his surroundings as far as a mile out of each door.
Making himself comfortable with crossing his legs and arms, he sits and rests, entering his meditation phase, knowing full well that he will not be able to get actual sleep tonight, not with this dead man prowling about. No. He will stay close tonight.
He continues to look to her, his eyes becoming heavier and heavier, slowly entering more and more to his meditation phase, his body begging for sleep from his brain, but the cranium will not have it.
'Not tonight...
Not until he is caught...
Not until she...
She...
Not until she is safe...'
Safe under him.

Well then, that was certainly expected wasn't it? Damnit! Its still short! UGH! I'm trying to make them longer, I really am!
Yes, I am back and I am sorry for such a long wait. It was a long brain-fart but I am somewhat back and ready to press on. And my mean somewhat, I mean I have no idea where this is going. Seriously, I pre-wrote the first half of the story and the second half, quite literally spewed out onto the screen that you see before you from the absolute genius that is my left brain! So don't ask me what is going to happen next, because your guess is just as good as mine! XD But It will be fun to find out what happens together nonetheless, don't you think? I do hope that I still have people following me. That would be cool to still have followers!
So did you like it or absolutely hate it? I would LOVE some feedback on this. I am still confused on what has all happened here. I am still giggling at the while sperm thing. I am personally proud of that, heheh! On the spot, total improv! Why am I telling you this?
So, there. It is out in the open Seshsomaru knows, and (I suppose) all hell is going to break loose! ^_^
