fiftyfantasies: lalalalalaa…

Miss Grayson-Barton:lalala don't be too sure about thaaat lalala… I like to change canon things… lalala….

relish:aaah thank youuu! About the length of the chapters, maybe they're going to get a bit shorter again, they're just always longer when I write something taking place in a movie. I always try to make them at least 2500-3000 words, take the last one as some kind of 'special' :D I don't know, let me just surprise you with the next chapters ^^

bookreader1617:I'm sorry… no…no not really, sorry. Guess you just have to wait to find out what I'm planning^^ I'm glad I mentally prepared me for your reactions :D

Guest: Aw yess :D I hope they don't think now you're crazy…like my family does… :D And don't worry, I had a stupid writers blog during this story but now I really know what to write, so don't worry about me dropping this, it won't happen, trust me :)

Aisha: Yes, I think it will be some kind of this. Or maybe he sees the huge armies and quickly returns to his people to warn his father or maybe he manages to safe Gandalf or maybe exactly this is going to happen and I'm a freaking genius, although that would be the last straw to make me die completely. Buuuuut that and the following is only my headcanon and yes, just read and we'll eventually find out if I was right when the movie comes and we will all die.
I'm sorry about the mistakes, I read about it all multiple times and word mostly corrects everything, if you mean the elvish, I'm truly sorry but some words really don't exist so I had to improvise a bit :D
But I'm so glad you liked it and took your time reviewing and maybe reading my rambling here^^

Jedi Kay-Kenobi:Mh… guess you're right :3 Yes I noticed, and I'm really glad about that c: Yes, there was not much before where you could have noticed, but I am evil. I promise I'm not this way in real life, but I can't help, when I watch such an awesome movie the ideas just jump into my head and I'll write them down in order to try to get you all as dead in your mind as I am ^^

Guest (I know it's you ginger): Alright, I'm sorry, I'm gonna see fire goodbye world, guess you'll never know what I planed then sorry :c

littlesparrowlilli: AAAAAAAAAh yeeeeeeess Thaaaaaaaaank yoooouuu! I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKE IT!

Allie Danger: I'm trying I've only been a biiiiiit stuck

Insertisernamehere: Yes guys keep hoping… hehe…he…

malwaPL:Thank youuuuuu

Elodia9000:I'm soo happy to hear that, really, that's what a writer wants to happen right? And I'm really sorry I'm so bad at updating frequently, you all just have to be patient with me and I really hope that you will still read this when I finally get the chapters done. But really, your review just made my day, so thank you and I hope you'll stick around.

Guest: yeeees… I'm really putting him through some tough stuff… I'm trying, stick around, pleeeasee

Mannu227:thanks, I gotta say, you're review reminded me that this story is still around, I read it today again, to get back into it, had a little big fangirl attack in the kitchen in front of my mom and now I got back to writing, so everyone should thank you I guess, because I do!

Okay, I'm SO unbelievably utterly sorry for not updating that long. Really, I don't know what happened. I just kinda lost this one out of my eyes. I had quite some stuff to do with school (which is totally not an excuse because I still got to update my other story), but I just didn't feel like updating this one. And I know I'm such an ass to leave you with such a cliffhanger and then not update in like six months. I cannot possibly express how unbelievably sorry I am it took me so long, and I can understand when no one keeps reading this because I'm just an ass.

The thing is, I really really want this story to be good and this will only happen when I'm in the mood to write and that mood just wasn't there lately. I'm working on two stories right now and have about twenty different headcanons that I often prefer to think about, rather than actually writing them down.
But that's really no excuse for me not to update frequently. I just really don't want to give you a bad story because I think it has potential what I've got in my head, I just need to write it down. And I just need to write it down in a good way, not in a rush, so please, please, please have patience with me. I WILL finish this story, I swear, I just need time to write so it'll be good.

I just hope you won't kill me for being gone so long (you can kill me for this chapter though if you want) and although I don't deserve it, I would still like to see what you think of this. And if you do, maybe leave a suggestion how I should continue, maybe I get to update faster. I don't know and I know I can't promise you anything but that I WILL try to update more often and not let you hang with a cliffhanger like that for six months. I hope you can understand me and will still read this, it would make my day, because I just freaking love you people soo much. Really, you're awesome.

And now, if you still remember where we left off, you know Smaug is on his way, but, considering the movie will not be out here till December, I don't know exactly how this situation will be handled and I just wanna say with that, that I'm not so sure how the Smaug part and Botfa part will play out in this one, just fyi…

So. I'm just gonna say now, I'M NOT SORRY I'VE JUST GOT A FREAKING PROBLEM IN MY MIND … Okay, let's get going^^

.

Tauriel looked out into the night once more; the dragon was definitely on his way to destroy this town.

"You must leave" she said as she stepped back into the room. "The dragon is on his way. If you do not leave this place you will die."

The children and dwarves all looked at her in shock, the young girl was clutching her sister's hand and tried to hold back tears.

"No, we will fight!" Kili's brother Fili spoke up, his face determined. "This dragon stole our home, killed our people and took our treasure. And though we may not have been there that day, we will be there when this beast dies and reclaim our home!"

"I understand you, but will you leave your brother to death then? He cannot fight and carrying him would only kill you both. You must leave ere the dragon arrives" Tauriel insisted, but the dwarf shook his head yet again.

"I will bring him out of this town and come back to fight. This dragon destroyed already two homes, I will not let him destroy a third. We will kill this filthy thief and murder!"

"Do you not understand?" Tauriel snapped, but lowered her voice and spoke softer then "There is nothing that will kill this dragon. There are no more black arrows. Smaug will destroy this town."

The room was filled with silence, but from outside there could be heard few people growing aware of the oncoming threat and leaving the town in a rush.

"No" The voice of the young boy cut through the silence. "One arrow is left. Our father hid it in our house, we were on our way to the tower, but guards were following us and we had to part. He told me to hide it, but I don't know where he is now."

Tauriel looked at him in amazement for a little moment before speaking up again, back in the role of a soldier.

"You will show me where you hid the arrow, then you will follow the others out of this town and away from the lake. Bring as many as you can out of this town."

The boy nodded his head and after he glanced a look at his sisters, he stepped to Tauriel and was about to move out of the house with her when Fili protested yet again.

"No, I will fight this dragon!"

The elleth heaved a sigh before she turned back around to him.

"Stop it. Your brother needs you. Did you two not promise to return to your mother?" she asked, a soft expression on her face. For a second he was quiet, but more people could be heard outside. "You need to keep him safe when he cannot"

"Alright" the dwarf answered quietly. Tauriel let a tiny smile linger on her face for a short moment, then she turned back to the boy and they left into the night, while the dwarves and girls made to leave the town.

They boy lead her through sideways in order to avoid running into people. Guards were on the roads, telling the women and children to leave as fast as they could.

"My name's Bain by the way" he said, stepping out of the sideway onto the main road. Tauriel only nodded her head and pulled the boy back into the alley by his collar so he would not be run down by guards.

She noticed a faint blush on his face as they continued to run through the roads until they came upon a small boat.

"I hid the arrow under that net" he said, pointing to the fishing net barely covering the huge arrow.

"I thought so" Tauriel said with a small smirk. "Thank you. Now go and leave as fast as you can, he will be here within a few seconds."

Bain hesitated, but still he left and ran off, vanishing in the crowd of people.

Tauriel made to run as well, she would need to find the man who hid this arrow for so long.

Bard was known to the elves of mirkwood, for sometimes he would deliver messages from the master of Laketown to Thranduil. It was rare, but Tauriel knew his face and once spoke shortly to him. And from what few information she had gathered she could tell he was a noble man who would fight for his people.

"Where will I find Bard?" she asked a guard running past her, who only stopped because she held his arm firmly in her slender hand.

"They locked him up" he immediately blurted out, his voice quivering in fear. Tauriel wanted to ask where, but he pulled himself out of her grip and ran away. He did not come far though. The guard was caught in the first dragon fire bursting down upon this town.

Tauriel stood frozen for one second as she heard the loud wind of the dragon flying above her. She wondered where Legolas was, she could need his help. She swallowed hard, then she took off running aimlessly through the town in search for the man called Bard.

.

Legolas struggled against his bonds and capturers as they sat his feet upon the stony ground. But it was useless, they were too many and after one particular hard blow to the elf's stomach, he swayed enough for them to force him to his knees in front of a broken stone wall. The orcs roughly bound his hands to the stone above his bowed head as he tried to regain his breath.

When they stepped away from him, all around him was howling and screaming breathtakingly loud. The ground was shaking with the heavy stomps of the orcs' metal clad feet, their weapons shrieking as they clashed against each other's.

Legolas' thoughts were roughly ended though, as his head was yanked back by a strong grip on his hair. He did not utter a single noise as he looked at the disgusting face of an even paler orc. Legolas knew the stories of this orc, has seen him once before from afar. Azog, the defiler.

"Bolg! What did you get us here?" he asked into the suddenly silent crowd, an evil grin upon his face. The tall orc from Laketown pushed orcs out of his way as he stepped out of the crowd, an even so dark grin on his face.

"Something to have our fun with before we leave. I think the master will like us having fun with this elfling princess before we leave" he spat, grinning as his metal clad foot met the elf's rips with a faint cracking sound to be heard.

Legolas bit his lip as the pain surged through his chest. He would not give these creatures the satisfaction of him crying out in pain.

Azog uttered a cruel laugh of approval before he smacked the elf's head against the stone wall.

Legolas could hold back a cry but not the gasp that escaped his lips as his head fell back a bit. He could hear the orcs around him laughing, although the sound was drowned a bit. And though his vision was blurred and covered with tiny black spots creeping at the edges of his eyes, he could make out a crimson fluid on the stone, just as he felt a bit blood trickling over his brow. It was not much, but the orcs' 'fun' had only just begun.

.

Tauriel cringed every time the dragon's flames hit the town, the air was filled with the people's screams and cries and the beast's laughter. After a short while of running, a man ran into her. He halted when he looked at her, undoubtedly wondering what she was doing here. Maybe he was hoping Thranduil sent out his soldiers to help this town, but of course there were no other elves to be seen.

Tauriel recognized the man as Bard and stopped him from keep on running by holding his arm.

"Let me go" he said, though it was muffled by the crashing of the dragon destroying the town.

"I know you search this" she said, motioning towards the grand arrow in her hand.

"Where did you get this?"

"It does not matter, we need to take our chance before the tower is destroyed too." With that she placed the arrow in the man's hand and together they made their way through the crumbling and burning town.

Men were fighting the dragon with all they had, but it was no use. They were killed in the fires or under the claws of the beast. Most of them screamed for help, expecting and hoping that the elven King sent out his soldiers, but there was not one sign of any elf coming for their aid.

.

Legolas was barely awake. Although the elves were resistant and their wounds healed faster than other's, they still felt pain. And Legolas was feeling only pain.

After several hard slaps of his head against the stone wall, blood was pooling out of a large gash on his forehead. His vision was blurred and he kept the hopes that, if they hit his head once more, he would finally lose his consciousness and he could rest, if just for a bit.

But no, the orcs seemed to sense that he was passing out, and they stopped.

Legolas leaned his head against his raised arm and closed his eyes for a moment, forcing deep breaths into his lungs. His vision began to clear when he opened his eyes the next time, his gaze following a drip of blood trailing its way down the stone.

"You've had enough yet, eleth?" Azog spat mockingly as he gripped the prince by the hair once more.

"I do not answer to dogs" The words were spoken with an exhausted chuckle and earned the young elf another hit against the stone, leaving him gasping and blinking again.

They didn't even give him any time to clear his vision before the punches and kicks began again. About seven orcs stood in a close circle around him, but were forcefully replaced by other orcs who wanted to hurt the elf themselves.

Legolas felt his rips cracking, just as other bones did, his delicate skin was covered in bruises and was torn from the iron boots. His clothes were torn and bloody and the orcs found quite a delight in pulling thick strands of the prince's hair off his head.

"When can we finally kill it?" the orc, who just kicked him in the jaw, snarls.

"Patience" Bolg growled with a sickening grin.

The orcs all suddenly stopped their assault on the elf.
Legolas spat out the blood gathering in his mouth and tried to calm his breathing down, concentrating on the trickle of blood flowing down the side of his nose, cheek and dropping off his chin. That is until he heard the breathtakingly loud crack of a whip. His eyes widened in fear and he braced himself for what's to come, as his breathing quickened again.

The mass of orcs was howling and screeching and laughing as Bolg stepped closer, his grin widening with every step closer to the elf. He raised his arm and the next second it, along with the horrid whip, came crashing down onto the kneeling figure.

Legolas bit his lip hard to stop from crying out as the leather slashed and tore open his skin. His eyes were shut tightly and he leaned his head against the cool and bloody stone to regain his bearings.

Of course it didn't go this way and the whip was brought down again, leaving another cut from shoulder to hip in its wake. Legolas grunted when the whip was brought down again and again and again. His lip was bleeding from keeping his screams inside, but as it was brought down again, cutting at his neck too, he couldn't keep from crying out. For only a second before he bit his lip again, but this one scream had the orcs celebrating, their weapons clashing against each other's and the whip was coming down again, emitting another scream of agony from the tied up prince.

Legolas couldn't hold any more screams inside, he just let them out as his back and arms and neck were slashed open. Blood was pouring down everywhere and the pain was just a fire sitting on his whole body, leaving him breathless and dizzy. His vision began to cloud as the fire overtook him and a silent tear mixed with the blood on his cheek and he finally fell into the peaceful and welcomed darkness of painless unconsciousness.
