Prompt 129 OQ at Disneyland
From Regina's Point of view
It was their idea; actually, first, it has been Henry idea to go to Disneyland. He thought that it could be so cool and really amusing seeing all of them as Disney characters, plus he said that it will be such a fantastic first family trip for the tree of them. But of course, when he explains me his idea for the first time I said no, absolutely not, I didn't want to see me as a Disney character, to be in a place full of tourist and crazy people about all the Disney stuff. But I should have known better, I should have known that Henry would have another card to play, and it was Roland of course. The young boy didn't do anything about Disneyland, I knew about Disney's movies that we already watch a thousand times before, but he had no idea that a whole park was dedicated to the Disney fairytales, and as soon as he learns the existence of the famous park he needed no more explanation from his older brother, to convince him that it would be so amazing to go to Disneyland, he wanted it most of all. He was so proud that is papa was represented at a Disney character he wanted to see the fake version of Robin in real and to have a lot of fun with his brother, to go to all the attractions and to eat ice cream in the park.
Robin wasn't long to convince too, the boys just told him what they wanted to do and how much they wanted it and he agreed in less than twenty seconds, he was as thrilled as them to go to Disneyland he sees all the attractions and all their friends as Disney's characters. He clearly wasn't supporting me in this fight, I still didn't want to go to the park, spend an all day see them play us without knowing the reality behind. For them, we were just stories, and that's all, I wasn't really thrilled to see me as the Disney's evil queen of is nothing like me, and I clearly hate what they've done to me in their stories. For one week my boys tried to convince me, it was every time they could, during dinners, when they woke up, when they went to bed, after and before school, morning like evening, every time and everywhere. I understand that this trip was really important for them, that it was something that they really wanted to do in family, so after an all week of request for going to Disneyland, I said yes, and in less than one minute Roland and Henry were hugged me so tired than I couldn't breathe, Robin him was smiling and he winked at me, telling right after that he knows that I will crack and say yes to them.
It's why I was now there, in Disneyland. Henry and Roland were looking everywhere with enthusiasm and were smiling happily, they couldn't wait to test all the attractions in the park and see the Grand Parade on the evening, and they also wanted a picture with all the Disney's character who will cross our path. Great, I was just hopping them we will not see the "evil queen" I wasn't really ready to see someone pretending to be me, in such a terrible way. Contrary to me, Robin he really wanted to see his counterpart, and have a picture with him, he thought that it could be so funny.
"Regina, are you alright?" Robin asked me after accepting to let the boys look at the plan, and choose the first attraction of the day.
"Yes, I'm fine. It's just really strange to be there, and pretending that we are just characters in some kids stories." I said looking around me with a little apprehension.
"I know my love, but everything is going to be alright, we will have a wonderful day, the boys are so happy to be there," He said grabbing my hand and presses it at the same time.
"And you too" I answer him with a little laugh
"Guilty," he said, before kissing me "you will see we are going to have a great family time here, I'm sure that at the end you will finally like it"
"Perhaps, I just hope that we will not cross the path of the fake "evil queen" "
"Why it will be really funny"
"Oh don't you dare," I said giving a little punch in his arms
"Ouch," he said with an enormous smile
"Mum, Dad, we found the first attraction that we want to do" I heard Roland scream at us, we will finish our conversation later, now we have to go to our boys and discover today journey, and I have to admit I'm a little bit nervous to discover it.
"So where are we going first boys? " Robin asked them taking Roland's hand in his like he said he will in the park for always have eyes on him, and for him not to be lost.
"First we are going to Pirates of the Caribbean" Roland answer with an enthusiastic voice, jumping at the same time
"Wonderful, Hook as miles away but we will have the pleasure to see his counterparts and perhaps even if we're lucky the fake him, great," I said with an ironical voice while I was rolling my eyes
"Come on mum, it's going to be fun" Henry said reaching my hand and starting to walk to the first attraction of the day, I have to admit that the fact then my boys were so happy to be there make me happy too, after all this day wasn't such a bad idea I finally admit.
We went to almost all the attractions from It's a Small World at Star Wars Hyper Space Mountains, we crossed the path of many Disney's characters, Cinderella, Merida, Prince Charming, Little John, Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan, and our favorite from all Robin Hood, of course, Roland, Henry and Robin wanted a picture with the fake Robin, who laugh when we told him that they were in a sort of way fan, and when he learned Robin's name he told us than it was a sign of destiny. This moment had been one of the best of the day the boys were so happy, they loved the day so far, Robin too, and I couldn't myself tell the inverse, this day was an excellent idea.
We were resting a bit in a restaurant, eating ice cream, laughing and sharing our best memories of the day, it was an excellent moment.
"Mum, do you think I could get a cuddly toy from the gift shop before we leave? " Roland asked with a puppy face
"Who do you want?" I asked him without telling him yes or no even if I already know then I was going to answer him yes.
"I would like to have daddy" he said jumping a little bit on his chair
"Oh really, I will never have guess it" I answer him with a little laugh
"Do you agree?" He asked with hope in his eyes
"I will ask your father first, what do you think of getting him a toy at your effigy?"
"Why not, I just hope that this fake Robin Hood will not take my place," He said with a fake worry tone
"Never daddy" Roland responds fiercely
"Than for me its okay, I'm relieved"
"And you Henry would you like to have something from the Gift shop before we leave?" Robin asked him after some peaceful minutes of silence
"Why not, but I don't know what at the moment" He answers with dreamy eyes
"I'm sure then you will find, they have a lot of choices," I answer him with a smile.
"That's sure mom"
"So after have eating our ice cream we're going to this Gift shop and we have to go take good places for the Grand Parade" Robin resume the rest of our day with a nod from the boys, who finish their ice cream very quickly after.
The Gift Shop was a huge shop full of kids, toys from every Disney's movie, cuddly toys, fake weapons and even costume of almost every Disney's characters.
"We should go in separate ways," Robin said grabbing Roland's hand who was about to run to the fake bow and Robin Hood costume
"Yes I think it's' the best idea we're going to look for something Henry could want and you go with Roland to find his Robin Hood cuddly toys, which and sure won't be the only thing he will want"
"Yes, my love. Okay so here in ten minutes?"
"Perfect, good luck with this one," I said giving him a wink
"Thank you milady," he said before going with Roland to the Robin Hood section, where he almost had to run to because Roland was pulling him with all his strength.
"So, Henry where do you want to go first?"
"What about the books section?"
"Then let's go"
After 10 minutes Henry finally found something for him, a notebook where was written Once Upon A Time, and he also found a little copy in wood of a bow for Roland than he wanted to buy himself, I couldn't be prouder of him, he was such a good and gentle boy. We were waiting for Robin and Roland for now 5 minutes when I finally saw them coming to us, Robin seemed exhausted, and Roland very happy.
"Sorry we're late," He said with an apologetic look on his face
"No, problem, while we were waiting for you, we paid our purchase"
"Already? Okay, Roland, we should go in the queue right now or we will miss the Grand Parade"
"Yes daddy"
"Dad, if you want I can go with him "
My head turned to look at Henry in less than a second, it was the first time that he was really calling Robin, dad, I looked Robin who was now having a big smile.
"With pleasure my boy" he simply answers to him, and it was like an unvoiced talk was happening between the two of them, I couldn't be happier, this day was really perfect.
"Did you enjoy the day, milady?" he asked while holding me in his arms
"Yes, I never thought that going to Disneyland was a good idea but now I can admit that I was wrong. It really has been an amazing day. Thank you"

"For loving me, for giving me all I ever wanted"
"it's my job, and it's with all my pleasure my love" He answers with a smile before kissing me.
"Mom, Dad, let go or we will miss the Grand Parade" I heard Roland and Henry scream
"We are coming" Robin scream too holding my hand and starting to go to the Grand Parade.
We found quite good places, in front of the streets where the future parade will be in less than one minutes, we were all together, patiently waiting for it to start, when suddenly a voice came from a loudspeaker announcing the start of the parade, and it will be a special one, with all the villains from all the Disney's movies represented. I swear at this moment I rolled my eyes and Robin laughed very loudly, my day couldn't be perfect, I was obliged to see this fake "evil queen", great.
"Come on my love it won't last long," Robin said while he was still laughing at me
"Oh just shut….be quiet," I said remembering that the kids were with us
Robin couldn't answer me; they were coming all the villains in the first line with the fake "evil queen" in the middle of course. She looked awful, and old too, fantastic, at least it has been the only bad thing of the day.
The Grand Parade have been wonderful, except that fake horrible "evil queen" the rest have been just magic, the kids were in heaven, Robin was really happy too, I was just so glad too, this family day has been one then I will never forget, when where I simply felt myself, where I felt happy and loved.
"Come back with us milady you're missing all the fantastic setting and activities."
"yes, sorry, I was just thinking," I said starting to look around while our way back to our car, getting away from Disneyland
"What were you thinking about?"
"Oh just how I was happy and how I felt good and love today and then this day will always stay in my memories"
"Don't worry milady I will always do my best for you to feel love and happy" He said before kissing me just before we arrived at the end of the park, close to our car, when we looked back to the park we saw fireworks and it was just like the end of a great and romantic movie, but this time it wasn't a dream or a fiction, it was my life I finally had all I wanted in it, a family, a home, I was no longer the evil queen, I was only myself, Regina, and it's all I ever wanted, it was my happy ending.
