A/N: Okay, so it's been a while! I guess I got so busy and maybe a little unmotivated, so I stopped and didn't continue with the story. Lately, I've been getting emails from FanFiction telling me that people are favoriting/following the story and myself and it really inspired and motivated me to continue the story because people are enjoying it.

Did Jace actually just ask me out? I have never felt so girly in my life. I feel like finding Isabelle and doing a happy dance right now. Oh shit…I haven't responded to the question yet. He probably thinks I might say no. I look up at him. I can tell he is trying to hide his emotions but I know that his confidence is slowly starting to decrease. After getting back to an normal (well, as normal as I can get), I respond,

"Um, yeah sure." I attempt to say with a calm face. As soon as I respond, he flashed a genuine smile and said,

"That's great! Today's Friday anyways, so how about tonight? We can go to eat dinner at a restaurant and then go to the movies or something. Whatever you like is fine with me. I just want to spend time with you." AWWW. He is so sweet.

"Dinner and movie sounds great." Just as I finish responding, the bell rang.

"Okay, I'll come and pick you up at 6." He says as he walks away into the sea of people in the hallway. Right when I sat into my seat in class, I took out my phone and texted Isabelle straight away.

Jace asked me out! Going on a date with him tonight! :D – C

I was just thinking that! Don't worry my young padawan, I'll come over after school to help. – Izzy

The rest of the day went by slow as hell! I just wanted to just time travel to 6 pm so that I could go on this date with Jace but it is now 4:30 and Isabelle is deciding on how I should have my hair styled. Since it's just a dinner and movie, we decided to go for an outfit that is semi-formal. I was not ready to go to the movies with an extravagant dress on. So we chose a black and white cut out geo skater dress. It was cute and sexy at the same time and was more to the casual side. One thing was clear; the dress looked good with my body. (Link To Dress: Check A/N) Isabelle decided to put my hair up in a beautiful up do but it just did not feel right. I was never someone who keeps their hair up but I decided not to do anything about it and leave it up. After Izzy was done with my hair, she thankfully, put very little make-up on and by the time she finished everything, it was 5:45.

"You look amazing! Jace won't be able to keep his eyes off you! I better get going, Jace is never late." Isabelle states as she walks towards the front door. She wished me good luck and winked as she told me to have "fun" and left. After she left, I went back to my room and grabbed my purse and put all the necessary things into it and then just started to stare at the clock. This date is going to go well right? I ask myself. It can't go wrong. I'm sure everything will be fine. After about 10 mins of reassuring myself, the doorbell rang and I literally sprinted to the door. I opened it and saw him. The most beautiful guy I have even seen. Jace was wearing a grey v-neck shirt that was mostly covered by his leather jacket and he was also wearing black jeans.

"You look absolutely beautiful." Jace says. I blush and slightly look away to hide it. "But…" He continues, "I love it when your hair is down." He takes the clip that was holding the hairdo, and my hair fell nicely down my back. We walked to the car, and like a gentleman, he opened the door for me. When we got settled into the car, he turned on the radio, and one of my favourite songs started to play. I started humming the song without realizing that Jace is right next to me. After about 10 seconds, he starts to just sing along too. Wow, I sounded like shit compared to him but I didn't care. This continued until we got to the restaurant.

"Jace… this restaurant is so expensive. We didn't have to go here." I say with a lot of worry. I don't want him spending so much money on me. It's only our first date too.

"Listen, don't worry about it. You are special to me and I don't mind spending everything for you." He says. Although that felt nice to hear, I still did not feel good about it but decided to not get our mood down. As we were getting seated, I took a look around and suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong Clary?" Jace worryingly asked. I gave a small gesture to the direction I was staring at.

"Clary, ignore them. We shouldn't have Aline and Sebastian ruining our date." Jace said calmly. I looked at him and smiled and then sat in our booth.

"So, let's get to know more about each other." Jace said.

"Sure." I replied.

"Okay, how about you go first." Jace suggested.

"Okay um…favourite colour." I quickly said.

"Come on. That's so basic. Let's ask some deeper questions." Jace complained.

"Fine. Did you ever meet your biological parents?" Shit. What the hell did I just ask him? I am SOOO stupid. He's wasn't asking for questions that deep! "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. You don't need to answer that." I quickly said. I looked at him and he had a serious face on. Great, I just ruined the date.

"No, it's fine. I don't mind sharing the answer of that with you. I just don't like it when people pity me. So please don't okay?" he asked. I nodded without any word. As he was about to tell his story, we were rudely interrupted by the last two people on earth that I would have wanted to see, Aline and Sebastian.

"Oh so are you two a thing now?" Aline asked with an annoying tone. I looked at what she was wearing and she can't get any sluttier than that. She was wearing a dress that ended right at the bottom of her butt. She probably wouldn't be able to bend even the slightest bit without flashing her ass. The dress she was wearing was red and has a v-neck that probably ended at her belly button and showed about half of her breasts. The dress was actually unflattering. I glanced at Jace feeling a little insecure about myself but he just looked bored and annoyed as ever by the look of Aline which made me slightly happy.

"We are a thing actually, and if you don't mind, we would like to continue our date." Jace said sternly. Aline glanced at the two of us and laughed and said,

"So Cary,-" Aline starts.

"-It's actually Clary." I correct her.

"Okay. So Clary, which hotel is Jace taking you to? Is it Mont L'Amour? I heard he takes all the girls there. Actually, no, that's a lie. He took me to Hillons. I guess I was special." As Aline said that, I can feel my eyes getting watery. No matter how much I wanted to ignore and not listen to her, I couldn't help but believe in what she was saying. Without a word, I got out of our booth and ran out of the restaurant, ignoring Jace calling my name.
