Sorry for the horrible updates, and when I say horrible I mean the months of not updating! XD Sorry! Ive just had writers block, and finals, and studying. Its just been chaotic. Sorry again!
*2 Weeks Later*
Me and Liz were walking to the guild happily when we saw Akito and Hatori.
"Hey Akito, Hatori, wait up!" I called running up to him with Liz close behind. When we reached them Akito smiled in greeting as we all continued walking to the guild.
"So, Akito, when is everyone going to be here for the whole, 'Welcoming of the the banned and forbidden zodiac members'?" I asked.
"Well, since the New Years festival is tomorrow we decided to have it then!" Akito said. I nodded and when we reached the guild we were almost hit by a chair but we all dodged it. The guild was having one of its many fights that was most likely caused by Natsu. I smiled and walked to the bar with Liz, both of us dodging the pieces of furniture that were being tossed and thrown around. We finally reached the bar and saw Erza eating her cake disapprovingly. She was tsking the others and sighed as a chair hit her head. Then another... and another... and then-
"You know what! I just wanted to eat my cake but you all asked for it!" Erza said angrily and jumping into the fight. Me and Liz sweat dropped and laughed nervously, turning to Mira and asking for our normal drinks. When they arrived we took them gratefully and started drinking them.
"So you wanna practice now?" I asked Liz. She nodded and we headed upstairs.
*After an hour of practicing and another hour of learning the dance.*
"Good job Lu-Chan, now you and Liz just have to remember that for tomorrow and you'll do great!"Levy said happily. I smiled and nodded and me and Liz went and sat with team Natsu after getting our normal drinks from Mira. On Christmas Team Natsu announced that Liz was now in the team with us seeing as I wasn't going to do anything without her.
"So you two, are you excited for tomorrow?" Erza asked. We both nodded happily.
"Yup, I think we've got the dance down, although were doing the duet and its our first time going to the festival so were a little nervous." I said. Liz nodded in agreement.
"Not to mention, I still haven't met the other zodiacs so I'll be dancing in front of not only strangers, but my family as well." Liz said sighing and propping her head up on her shoulder.
"Speaking of which, the others should be arriving any second now, they wanted to come meet everyone before the festival." I said looking to Akito who was sitting with the other zodiacs, who had formed a team, not surprisingly called The Zodiacs.
"Hey Luce, i've been meaning to ask, how come whenever one of you guys look at Akito you look scared? It seems to be worse with you, but Liz doesn't do it and I was just wondering." Natsu said. I froze and my blood ran cold. I hadn't expected anyone to catch that, but it was habit for the zodiac members to think of Akito in fear and respect.
"Umm... well... Its complicating..." I said stuttering over my words. Natsu looked confused.
"How so?" Erza asked. I looked to my hands and could hear Liz's thoughts.
( ' '-this is Liz and Lucy talking in telepathy, for example, 'I thought you knew him' Liz thought.)
'Do you wanna tell them? I didn't experience it like you did but I did feel the pain.' Liz thought to me.
'Should I? Natsu would be really mad. He'd probably try to hurt Akito, and I dont want that to happen.' I thought to Liz. She nodded.
"Are you guys doing that mind reading thing again?" Gray asked.
"Sorry... umm..." I trailed off.
'Its your choice.' Liz thought. I sighed.
"Well... promise you guys wont flip out, especially you Natsu." I said. They nodded and I sighed once again and lowered my voice.
"Well... as a kid, living in the Sohma house you had to respect Akitos orders, no matter what, if you broke them you got in trouble. Liz was kept a secret from the others so she didn't live in the Sohma house, but since were connected she experienced it through me. If you did something wrong you would be sent to Akito. When you were sent to Akito you were... punished. As a kid Akito was no where near as friendly as he is now. Apparently a year ago, when the Sohmas met Tohru, he became nicer, but other then that it was horrible. He would beat us, or lock us in a dark room for hours with no food or water. I was also supposed to be a secret like Liz, but Akito found out and since im forbidden and he couldn't control me like the others I got the worse punishments even if I didn't do anything wrong. Actually, one time before Akito was nice, Hatori had fallen in love with someone whose not apart of the zodiac which was forbidden, and I dont know if it still is. Anyways, Akito didn't like that, and he injured Hatoris left eye, making him nearly blind in that eye. When my mom died Akitos beatings were worse for me and then he banned me from returning to the Sohma house, so I had to go to my father." I said, looking down the whole time. The others were shocked but quickly got angry, especially Natsu.
"I'm gonna kill him." Natsu growled. I freaked out.
"Come on Natsu, you promised! You cant hurt Akito, come on!" I said holding him down in his seat. After a few minutes me and Liz got them to calm down and I sighed in relief.
"Besides guys, hes nicer now. When I went to visit my family it was because Akito wanted to see me. I was scared he was going to take me away from you guys because Akitos orders are absolute, but he apologized and explained how he had gotten nicer. Its ok, I forgave him, so you guys can to. Another reason I didn't want you hurting him is because hes actually really sick. Thats why Hatori follows him around all the time. Hatoris the family doctor so he keeps an eye on Akito." I said. They nodded. I was about to say more when the guild doors opened.
"Kyo my love! I'm back!" Kagura shouted through the guild hall and everyone was quiet.
"Ahh! Get away from me!" Kyo shouted before Kagura ran in and chased him around the guild.
"Hi guys!" I said, greeting the zodiac members standing in the door way. I walked up to Kagura who was squeezing the life out of Kyo and dragged her back to the others, much to her dislike and Kyos pleasure.
"Alright everyone, these are the other zodiac members. Kisa, Hiro, Kagura, Shigure, Ayame, and Ritsu." I said. Everyone greeted them happily and I led them over to Liz.
"Guys, this is the other forbidden zodiac, Elizabeth." I said. They greeted her happily and she greeted them in her shy manner. I smiled.
"Oh, Shigure, isn't it wonderful how many people accept our curse?!" Ayame asked taking Shigures hands.
"It is my dear Aya!" Shigure said enthusiastically.
"Oh and my dear brother Yuki! How have you been? And my dear Lucy, I cant wait to see you and Liz's amazing dance!" Ayame said hugging Yuki, me, and Liz all at once. The guild sweat dropped.
"Thanks Ayame." I said sweat dropping as well and pulling me and Liz out of his grip. Yuki shrugged his way out before mumbling and heading to the bar. I chuckled and went back to the table.
"Thats a very enthusiastic group." Erza said eating her cake.
"You could say that." I said.
"So Ayame's Yuki's brother?" Gray asked. I nodded.
"And that Kagura girl and Kyo are dating?" Natsu asked.
"Actually no, Kagura absolutely loves Kyo but Kyo dosnt like Kagura." I said.
"Why not?" Erza asked.
"Kyo my darling! Let me love you!" Kagura.
"I said no Kagura leave me alone already! I'm talking to Tohru." Kyo.
"Do you not like me? What did I do wrong? Tell me!" Kagura.
"Ack! What did I say?!" Kyo.
"Oh Kyo darling, who did this to you, tell me!" Kagura.
I laughed as the cycle repeated of Kagura beating Kyo up and then asking who did it.
"That explains it I guess." Gray mumbled. I nodded.
