A/N I am sorry for the delay but I had a killer case of writers block plus some personal things going on. From this point on I am pointing an explanation for anything from star Wars that may appear in future chapters at the end of each chapter. This is to benefit anyone who has not read the expanded Universe or what Disney refers to as the Legends canon. This is to help cut down on confusion that may occur latter.

7. An Alliance of Snakes and Lions

Malfoy did not know how to explain what had just happened. It was if he had seen into Potter's memories. Was this what Ms. Umbridge had been making Harry do during detention? Malfoy made a mental note not to complain about having to clean or go into the forbidden forest during detention again. He looked in Harry's General direction who was giving him a look that clearly said one thing. "Drop it."

Unfortunately for both Malfoy and Harry this would not be the end of this. As soon as Malfoy made contact with Harry, he unintentionally, sent out a mental message to several people at once.

The Weasley twins who had been setting up their latest prank, on the other side of the school, dropped their supplies resulting in pink DIY everywhere, when they hot a flash of the words, "I must not tell lies," being cut into someone's hand. They did not know how they knew but they just knew who's hand it was is and at the same time they both yelled, "Harry!"

Hermione and Neville also got flashes of the incident, but seeing as they knew about it they were more surprised at seeing the image replay in their minds as if they had been there.

Ron Weasley, for his part who had been wondering the corridors also saw the flash but his only reaction was to growl out one word, "Potter!"

Malfoy and the three Gryffindor's looked at each other. It was a long moment before they broke the silence. "You all saw that too right?"

The others nodded.

Luna who had been silent up till this point finally spoke. "I saw it too. Harry why have you not told someone? You are not a liar"

Harry muttered something that no one could quite hear which earned him a look from Hermione.

"On the other hand, does anyone know what that was?" Hermione looked perplexed.

No one in the room seemed to have an answer but now that they thought about it strange things have been happening since the start of term, not strange as in monster attack but strange as in people getting strange visions or feelings. Harry would get the odd dream every once in a while but that had slowed down since Professor Skywalker showed him that meditation technique to help organize his thoughts. They decided to check the library the next day to see if they could find anything about what happened, now however they had other things to deal with.

It was at that moment that Harry decided to ask the question that had been bothering him. "Have any of you noticed an increase in strange feelings lately like Déjà vu. I mean it happens to everyone every once in a while but I mean it seems to be increasing."

"Now that you mention it this seems to be happening ever since Professor Skywalker started teaching here this year," Hermione observed.

While the group in the hospital wing talking the professor in question was making his way down the hall. Luke had been made aware of at least eight Force sensitives in the school. He had suspected it after crosschecking the names of several Jedi names against the family trees of several wizarding families. He still needed more information. He could not pin down who the force adepts were however without running more tests especially seeing as their seemed to be something in the school interfering with his ability to use the Force. He also knew that one of the students was being forced to write in his own blood, and when he knew who it was Umbridge was going to pay.

Luke made his way into the Hospital Wing and saw Luna surrounded by Harry, Hermione, Neville and Draco, who seemed to have taken his advice. He hated to break up the group but he needed to talk to Luna to see if she remembered anything about her attack. He walked over to the group. "I'm sorry to break this up but I need to talk to Miss Lovegood for a moment."

The Group reluctantly left the Hospital wing but Harry left an extendable ear on the underside of Luna's bead, so they could hear what was going on.

Once the group was out in the hall, Harry used the extendable ear to try to listen in on what was going on in the Hospital wing. The others looked on expectantly and Hermione was watching him from the window.

"What are they saying," Neville looked somewhat uneasy about leaving Luna alone with the DADA professor but he remembered that madam Pomfrey was also in the room and relaxed slightly.

"Professor Skywalker is asking Luna what she remembers from the attack." Harry looked at the group, "It seems like a basic investigation."

It was at that moment that Hermione saw the professor, in question, reach under the bed were Harry had placed the extendable ear and remove it. "Au Harry?" She tried to worn.

"Not now Hermione this is getting good." It was at that moment that the extendable ear came flying from under the door and hit him in the face.

"I tried to warn you Harry." Hermione was fighting the erg to laugh.

The group watched the conversation for the next few minutes and basically decided it was nothing they needed to worry about. They did however decide to split up so as to divide the work better.

"Ok," Harry gave them all their assignments. Hermione you go to the library and see if you can find out anything in regards to what we all just experienced. Neville it is Saturday how about you stay here and keep Luna Company, that way if anyone comes here wishing to do her harm we will know about it. Draco lets you and I walk the crime scene."

Draco new that Harry divided the group based on the strengths. He was only working with Harry because he was the only one in the group that actually saw the crime scene after the attack. He also knew that Harry did not fully trust him yet, so he did not want to leave him alone with his friends. Draco could not say he blamed him due to how he treated them over the past four years.

The group all went their separate ways to see what they could find out. They were all thankful it was Saturday so they had no classes to attend. There was also a raging thunder storm outside, so the Gryffindor vs. Slytherin Quidditch match that had been scheduled for that day had been postponed till the weather improved. The fact that that a game was almost never rescheduled due to weather only helped to reinforce how bad the storm was.

When Draco and Harry got to the D.A.D.A corridor they noticed it was still roped off by, What Harry recognized as muggle police tape. Draco made a move to go under it but Harry stopped him explaining that the tape not only marked off the restricted zone so the muggle born students would know this corridor was sealed off but also, most likely, was charmed so the professors would know if someone actually did cross it.

"Why not tell me what you saw Draco. We still have a good view of the corridor even if we cannot walk it like originally planned."

Harry listened to Draco's explanation of how he had rounded the corridor and saw Professor Skywalker standing over a beaten and bleeding Luna explaining that he heard a scream and went out to investigate.

Harry noted that while the corridor was extremely long and the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom was at the other end. It was possible for someone to run from one end to the other in a relatively short space of time. Heck, Harry himself had even done it on occasion when he was running late. He also noticed that several passages branched off the corridor and statues also lined both sides of the hall. Harry did not claim to be Sherlock Holms but he could honestly say from experience that a person could hide in the school if they knew what they were doing.

Draco looked at Harry who seemed deep in thought. "What are you thinking?"

Harry looked in Draco's direction. "I'm thinking that Professor Skywalker's story has some merit but it does not mean I trust him."

"What's not to trust?" Draco asked, "You said it was possible."

"That does not mean that it is what happened," Harry pointed out. I mean remember last year when we had a former Death Eater posing as Mad –Eye Moody all last year."

Draco shuddered at the memory of the imposter Moody from last year. He remembered gloating at the thought of the Dark Lord returning. But now that he had had time to think about it. The thought of Voldemort returning scared the Hell out of him. He had come to realize that he had been hopping what his parent's had been saying all these years about being under the Imperius Curse had been the truth. "I see your point."

"I think we have all we are going to get hear. I hope Hermione had better luck."

Hermione for her part had already eliminated most of the more common branches of magic using her encyclopedic knowledge of the library's contents. She was now searching through the card catalog to look in the more obscure collections. She checked out a book on Native American vision Quests and another on seers. she did not really hold a lot of stock in that branch of magic but while going through the book on seer's she came across an interesting term Force wielder. She then found the term in an encyclopedia of obscure powers and found that the Force wielders were divided into several groups the order Je'daii. The only book on this group, History of the order had been recently moved two the deepest corner of the restricted section at the Headmasters request.

Hermione thought the fact that the book had been moved recently was a little suspect, especially, when she realized the book was at least five hundred years old, meaning it had been part of the libraries' general collection for at least half the schools existents. The age of the book also meant any information in it was most definitely out of date. All the books had preservation and protective charms on them so it is not like the school was concerned with wear and tear.

"What is in that book?" Hermione muttered as she brought a few of her other selections to the checkout desk and left the library and then went to the dorm to do her homework before dinner.

While Harry and his group were going about their day two cloaked figures were talking down in the village. "You hid the ship right?" A male asked from under his brown hood.

"Yes Kyle," an exasperated female voice huffed under Green hood. "Just as you were good at tracking people, I am good at hiding in plain sight."

"Point taken, but are you sure don't need help?"

"Yes Master Katarn I'm sure the school is wright up the path, though in this rain I'll be waterlogged before I get there."

"I see you're point. I'm going to see what I can find out here in the village and in London." Master Katarn bid his friend goodbye as the figure walked off in the direction of the school.

Back up at the School Luke Skywalker sat in in His office talking to Leia over the Comlink, he usually kept hidden in a secret compartment in his trunk.

"You were right Luke the blood from Luna tested positive for a high Midi-chlorian count." Leia looked like she had not slept in days. Whenever an innocent person got hurt his sister felt responsible. Luke felt the same way though unlike his sister he internalized it. Luke almost felt guilty for asking his sister to take Luna's school uniform to the lab droids at the temple.

"On a more important note Leia did her attackers leave any evidence?" Luke rubbed his eyes he had not been sleeping either. It was one of the few traits he and his sister shared personality wise.

"There was enough for the lab droids to know there were at least three of them but it was two mixed together to separate pulse, Wizard DNA is reading as unknown species in the data bank. At most it reads closest match Force Sensitive Human."

"Why do I get the feeling that this is one of those things that is the result of the Emperor destroying the Jedi Archives?" Luke inwardly cursed Palpatine for what must have been the thousandth time since the Republic won the war. It was a shame there was no way to kill the emperor a fourth time.

"I know that look in your eye Luke." Leia gave him a warning look. "You promised me never again."

"And I mean it. I will never do something that reckless again."

Both twins shuddered at the memory of the events of three years ago. It was an unwritten rule that they almost never talked about it.

"On another note your back up should be arriving shortly." Leia looked at her brother in concern. "Are you sure you're ok? I mean you look really down."

Luke sighed. "I guess I'm just homesick." Luke fumbled with something in his pocket that his sister couldn't see. It was at this point that Luke felt a very familiar presence approaching the school. However, much like the other force sensitives in the school he was having a hard time pinpointing it. Hearing a crash of thunder outside, He grabbed his cloak and an umbrella and headed down to the entrance hall. Five minutes later, he was about to open the door, when a soft but urgent knock could be heard. Luke recognized the presence on the other side of the door but opened it cautiously when he picked up the hint of annoyance.

When Luke opened the door a figure, in a green colored hooded cloak, quickly stepped in and dropped a duffel bag on the floor. The figure then removed their hood reviling a woman about Luke's age with fiery green eyes and long red gold hair. She looked at Luke with a hint of annoyance. "Skywalker if you tell me the rain is what keeps everything nice and green around here I'll strangle you!"

Luke rolled his eyes. "Hello Mara I missed you too."

Mara smirked as Luke took his cloak off and put it around her shoulders just as she started to shiver. "What now?" She looked at him gratefully but also questioningly.

"Well first I think you should get dried off, and then I suppose we should talk to the Headmaster and the Deputy Headmistress."

The two walked up the stairs as a figure watched them disapprovingly from the shadows.

A/N I am loosely basing the star wars time line off of the Legends time line or in other words anything written before Disney bot Lucas film. The reason it gives me more material to work with. If you have any questions see Wookieepedia for more info on the things mentioned below.

Characters:

Kyle Katarn – is a Stormtrooper turned rebel and later became a Jedi Master specifically the Jedi battle master. He is the main Character in the Game Jedi Knight and Jedi academy game.

Mara Jade: Jedi Knight, former emperor's hand, former member of the smuggler alliance, Luke Skywalker's wife in the Legends time line. Not married to Luke at the time of this story.

Leia Organa- Luke's sister, New Republic chief of state and I'm going to say at this time part time Jedi knight. I say Part time because she was politician first Jedi second (at least that's my take on it)

Terms:

Order of Je'daii- This was the earliest practitioners of the force in the Star Wars Universe. They believed to understand the Force one had to understand and practice both the light and the dark side equally. This group eventually separated into what later became the Jedi and the Sith.

Midi-chlorians- little microscopic organisms in the blood of people from the Star Wars Universe which is responsible for a person's force sensitivity, (Much too every fan's displeasure).
