Lost Time Memory
-15th August Day 1
Ayano found herself staring at the concrete ground a few metres below.
The glowing red sky cast a brilliant crimson upon anything beneath it. It was beautiful. She hoped the sky wouldn't mind is she dyed the floor even redder in moments. The window was wide open and the wind was soothing.
She smiled.
"Ayano!"
She heard her name.
Why is he here?
"Shintaro?"
He was panting, staring at her with such frightened eyes.
She held back her tears.
Don't show me that kind of face. I don't want all these happiness to end either...
She clutched her chest and winced slightly. There was no time left. It was coming.
"I'm sorry, I died."
Smiling, she stepped back.
Thin, weak arms which found unknown strength wrapped themselves around her.
"Don't go!" he silently screamed,
"Don't leave me!"
His voice was shaky, hoarse and broken.
"Shintaro..."
"I like you!" he screamed.
Her heart pounded. Whether in happiness or in fear she could not tell.
She winced again, her eyes glowing redder than ever.
There was no time left but...
She cried.
"I don't want to die," she whispered, burying her head in his chest,
"I don't want to die..." she repeated.
Shintaro loosened his hug, and fell onto the deathly cold floor.
His throat had a hole which a pair of scissors once entered and exited.
And there, showering in the crimson light was the red-scarfed girl, who held on to a pair of scissors, dripping brilliant crimson.
Her red eyes glowed with the setting sun, and with the same smile which everyone loved so much, she returned home.

"Let it rewind," she cried, caressing a bloody body amongst the bloody bodies.
"Let it rewind!" she cried.
By the time she had realized what she had done, it was already too late.
She should've just died. Yes, if only she had just died, like how she was supposed to.
It was all because goodbye was too sad, and way too lonely.
"That wish I shall grant."
But Ayano didn't turn to see who had said that.
"I'll rewind it."

-15th August Day 340
Ayano stared as the brave boy laid dead before her, with the liar on top of him, piercing a knife into his chest. Around them, familiar bodies were piled up. Silently, she raised her sword, screaming and crying, she hesitantly brought it down upon the liar.
A high-pitched scream reverberated through the silent cold air.
The child's child of Medusa cried and cried, unknowingly reversing the hand of the clock as she did.

-15th August Day 700
This time, the liar was on the floor. His limbs detached and unfounded, since there were so many other detached limbs on the floor. It was stained in her favorite color, except it was no longer her favorite anymore.
Such sickening red.
Tearing, Ayano drew her sword and sliced the green-haired murderer into a clean half.
Is this what heroes have to do?
A high-pitched scream once again sounded.
The child's child of Medusa cried and cried, unknowingly reversing the hand of the clock as she did.

-15th August Day 1305
Yet again, she watched the crimson surroundings. Shintaro was sprawled on the ground, his last breath taken from him as his sister finally loosened her grip around his throat.
This time, without a single word or emotion, Ayano drew her sword, and beheaded the idol.
She then watched as the child's child of Medusa cried and cried, unknowingly reversing the hand of the clock as she did.
Once again, she had failed.

-15th August Day 1306
Ayano watched as Shintaro and Seto struggled to survive against the insane Kido. She wondered for a moment if she should just give up.
"After all, can those fun-filled summer days even be saved?"
Sorry for not updating for so long! QAQ I had a mind block, yes, a mindblock 8'D I hope the story isn't too confusing...please leave reviews QvQ I've watched the anime and heard all the songs and read the novel and the manga, so I know the story of Kageroupro/mekakucity actors X'D Honestly the anime was a downer...it was too rushed :/ But nevertheless, I hope you guys would still continue to read this fanfic though my story is like way off the original X'D
