Chapter 7

Harry fell face first into the mud, his whole body bound by invisible ropes that kept tightening every time Harry struggled, and the more he struggled to get free of his invisible bonds the greater his need for air became. Harry knew that there was no way that he could get out of his bonds, so he silently told the girls that he was sorry, said a prayer to whatever gods were out there and accepted the inevitable. That was, however, until he felt a hand on his shoulder.

The hand rolled him on to his back, as Harry blinked the mud out of his face he realized that he was staring at the starry night sky and even though Harry didn't have all the mud out of his eyes he could still tell that there was someone standing over top of him.

Once all the mud was gone out of his eyes Harry could tell that the person that was standing over him had bleach blonde hair and was standing with a snake cane in his hand.

"I thought I put you in jail Malfoy." Harry thought to himself.

"I should have have let you drowned in that mud Potter, however, if I had then I wouldn't have been able to do this." and with that said he raised his foot and stomped on Harry's face, "That's for putting my Father in jail Potter."

Harry had felt his nose break but he couldn't scream out in pain, so he sat there in anguish and felt the blood gushing out. Harry laid there for what seemed like hours before another silhouette of a person appeared.

"Wotcher Harry." Tonks said as she stepped into his view.

She waved her wand over Harry and he regained feeling in all of his limbs, as he stood up Tonks waved her again and said "Epesky." Harry heard his nose pop back into place right before he felt the pain. The pain of his broken nose was enough to take him to his knees for a few seconds, all the while he was holding his nose. Once the pain subsided he stood back up so that he was eye level with Tonks and when he was able to talk he said.

"Hey Dora I thought I had seen you."

"Hey baby. Who did this to you?"

"Malfoy unfortunately, he was trying to get me back for sending his father to jail. But I think we should get up to the school now, before everyone starts to wonder."

"Yeah we should get you up to the school but before we go anywhere I should get that blood off of your uniform so that Mione and Gin don't worry," and with that she waved her wand once again and all the blood disappeared "Now we can get going, I've already sent a message to Hagrid to meet us at the gate.'

"That really sucks, I was kinda hoping for just a little more time with you my sweet."

"I know baby just a little bit longer and then we can have all the time in the world." she winked at him and then leaned in just a bit and kissed Harry on the cheek, before turning on her heel and joyfully and jokingly ran from Harry, Harry got the idea and took after his dope of a soon to be girlfriend. They soon arrived at the gate to see Hagrid already standing there.

"Well I guess this is good-bye for now my sweet. I'll see you later Dora." Harry said before he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.

" Bye you two." Tonks said as she walked back to he post.

"Eh' Harry" Hagrid said through his thick beard.

"Hey Hagrid." Harry said as he started walking towards the castle.

"So Harry why did you call 'er Dora? I thought everyone called 'er Tonks. And why did you kiss 'er cheek, I thought you were still with Hermione or have you two broken up and moved on to Tonks?"

"Wow Hagrid a lot of questions tonight. Yes everyone calls her Tonks but we have history so I call her Dora, and no Hermione and I haven't broken up, we just found out about the wizards secret and well Hermione Dora and Ginny all decided that they all wanted to be to be with me so that's exactly what we are doing. All four of us are together and after the war that's probably going to happen or after Hogwarts I'm planning on marrying all of them."

"Wow Harry that's quite a lot of stuff to handle but I'm glad to see you happy. And I'm pretty sure if you ask Dumbledore he might be able to remove or alter the charms around the girls dorms so you can get through to see your girls."

As Harry walked up to the Gryffindor table he smiled to at the people he knew and the first years who stared at him with slack jaws, by now Harry was barely aware when the first years did it. He saw Hermione and Ginny sitting with Ron and everyone else in the middle of the table. When the girls saw him they parted just enough for him to squeeze right in between them but before he did, he bent down a bit and kissed Hermione on the left side of her neck and then he turned to Ginny and did the same thing but on her right side of her neck.

"So nice of you to join us darling." Hermione said playfully.

"Sorry I had a run in with Malfoy and then Dora came across my path and I got a bit distracted." Harry was just able to say as Dumbledore walked up to his podium to make his speech.

After his welcome speech to the new students and to the returning students, the hall erupted into a chaos of talking and laughter. All around him Harry was surrounded by the friends he had made in his time at Hogwarts, at one point Harry left both Hermione's and Ginny's hand on each leg, he looked at Ginny first and then to Hermione, he smiled and winked at each one in turn.

Harry's head snapped up when he heard Ron say his name, and was just about to ask Ron what he wanted when he noticed Dean Thomas who was sitting next to Ron, kept looking at Ginny. Harry watched Dean for a bit before turning his attention back to Ron. Everyone got lost in all of the chatter that they didn't notice that Dumbledore was standing at his podium again.

"I know you are all excited to be back and rightfully so but I do have just a few more announcements to make," Dumbledore said raising his voice, he then waited for everyone to settle down before continuing. "Thank you, now I would like to welcome a new teacher to our wonderful school, Professor Slughorn will be taking over taking back his position as potion master, and that means that Professor Snape will be taking over the Defense against the Dark Arts."

Throughout the Great Hall students were groaning as the heard that the least favorite teacher in all of Hogwarts was taking over their favorite subject, however, the only person to speak was Harry.

"You got to be shitting me right?" Harry meant to say it in a whisper but it turned out that because the Great Hall was so quiet it was louder than he meant it to.

However Dumbledore just smiled and replied "No Harry I am not but Professor Snape is an excellent Professor no matter what he teaches."

It was obvious that, that was the end of it but Harry felt like saying "that's your opinion." and he actually did under his breath.

Ron looked at them from across the table and was about to say something when Harry leaned in and made sure his voice was lowered before he said he said with a smile "well the good thing is he'll be gone by the end of this year."

"Why do you say that Harry?" Ron asked

"Well everyone says that, that job is cursed don't they? And in my opinion their right, so logically Snape wont last longer than this year." Harry said as the smile on his face grew, everyone within ear shot of Harry burst out in laughter.

Dumbledore cleared his throat and finished his speech by saying "now time for bed."

Harry kissed Hermione before she and Ron took the first years up to the common room. Harry and Ginny started to walk to the Entrance Hall when Harry stopped and turned to her "Hey Gin I need to talk to Dumbledore about something before we go up, will you wait for me? I should only be a few minutes."

"Yeah sure babe." She said with a smile, she then kissed him on the cheek and said "But try to be quick I want to cuddle up by the fire with you and Mione for a bit before bed."

Harry smiled at her, then turned on his heel and marched back up the aisle and up to the staff table. By the time Harry reached the table the Great Hall was empty, aside from the teachers him and Ginny. Dumbledore turned his head towards Harry and said "Harry my boy what can I do for you?"

"Sir I was wondering if I could talk to you in private?"

"Yes of course." said Dumbledore as he pushed his chair away from the table. When he got to a secluded corner he asked Harry "Now what do you wish to speak about?"

"I'm not entirely sure how to ask but Hagrid mentioned that you could modify the charm on the girls dorm."

"Of course I can, seeing as I'm the headmaster but what of if?"

"Well sir I was wondering if.."

"If what?"

"If you could modify it so that Hermione, Ginny and I could go somewhere for privacy."

"I understand. And I would be happy to do it for you, I'll do it as soon as I get into my office tonight, but Harry you must promise me that no one other then you and Ms. Granger and Ms. Weasley know that I did this for you."

"I promise sir. And thank you so much Professor" Harry said, smiling as he turned and walked back to Ginny.

"So what did you talk about?" Ginny asked when Harry walked up to her.

"I'll tell you later tonight when you, Mione and I are alone in the common room." and with that Ginny and Harry walked up to the common room holding hands.
