Kagome Could not sleep, so much was going on in her mind, she sat up and walked outside I was still raining and cold but the hut was just getting to warm. She wasn't out long when he joined her.
"Sesshomaru, I don't think we should say anything outright to her" Kagome had a feeling Rin was up to something in regard to her and Sesshomaru and she knew Sesshomaru probably knew too.
"Women, Rin is my ward, not yours"
"Rin is not a child Sesshomaru" She reminded him,
"Yet she foolishly acted like one with this trickery" He knew, I mean who would out her and a demon Lord in the same room for a night.
"Can we get out of the rain?" She asked she was cold now,

She was getting angry "Sesshomaru she meant well, she is just worried about you, and me"
"I do not see your point miko"
"Sesshomaru, Rin has always loved you, but now she is married and has a family, she wants that for you, she does not want you to be alone"
"And yourself?"
"She wants the same, she thinks I'm sad, lonely, she's partly right, though I wonder if she came up with this plan alone"
Sesshomaru looked up at the sky "She is far too innocent for something like this"
Kagome sighed,
"Are you not shy"
"I'm a little red in the face, but I'm also a woman Sesshomaru, and we are both grown adults, not like you're a horny schoolboy whos going to go run off to tell the other guys, let's just keep it to ourselves" Kagome stated, going back inside and sitting by the fire the dry her damp clothing.
"If she tries it again?" He asked,
Kagome brushed her hair "Parenting is hard, and I'm not even a mother yet, not really, leave it to me, I'm better with words"

"Jaken has not faired very well since she left" and Kagome giggled then they sat in silence "Sesshomaru, if your father had not died and life went on, would you be mated with kids already?"
"If all the kingdoms had not fallen and we kept to laws, yes"
"Human royalty still follow laws"

"I could have, each kingdom is different, my choices would have been in diplomatic fashion, such is a duty of a prince"

Silence again, just the fire cracking "Is it wrong for Inuyasha to have kids before you"

She was right and it did bug him a little, he let time pass him by, Naraku took up a lot of his time, Rin, after his father died and the kingdoms fell he had no time to even think about it, but the kingdoms where coming back but he still had not thought about it.
"Rin did give us something to think about, her heart is in the right place" Kagome laughed and looked back at him "But I wonder were she got the crazy idea of me and you"
"Rin has away of seeing things others do not, her innocents heart far exceeds yours, I to do not understand it"
Kagome laid back down "Ill talk to her" She covered up "Will you be here in the morning"
He had planned on leaving, but he wanted to be sure things where corrected "Yes"
She smiled, rolled over and fell asleep, Sesshomaru watched the fire burn, he wondered and pondered, was now the right time to find a mate? What was he waiting for?
