Writers block. Ugh. But here's the update! I'd say 2-3 chapters until this is wrapped up.

They had been kind of seeing each other for the past month. It'd been two weeks since April and Cristina made up and yet Cristina still had no idea that he had gone there. She had no idea that Jackson Avery, her roommate, was banging her little sister.

And if he had it his way, she never would. Then again, he didn't know if they were a thing or just hooking up or what it was really. April never seemed to say either way and every time he tried to ask her about it, she would change the subject. In a lot of ways she really was like Cristina. Closed off, stubborn, smart. She challenged him and she made him feel something he never felt before, he just couldn't put his finger on it. He couldn't tell if the fact that what they were doing had to stay a secret was hot or a nuisance.

It was just after seven pm and he finished a basic rhinoplasty. As soon as he was finished scrubbing out he felt two small arms spin him around and push him into the corner of the small room that held the sinks and gowns outside of the OR.

"I missed you today," she frowned, leaning up onto her tip toes to pull him down for a kiss. They hadn't crossed paths all day, except for rounds in the early am.

"You did?" He asked her coyly, grinning. She nodded with a smirk on her face as she settled her hands on his chest. He liked where this was going. "How much?"

She was all about playing this game with him. "I'll show you." She whispered, pulling his scrubs and boxers down just enough to expose him. He was already hard and waiting for her. She looked up and him and grinned before taking him fully into her mouth. They were barely started when Jackson tried to warn her before letting loose.

By the time they finished and she got back to her feet there was just enough time for them to sneak out before another surgical group came in for the next procedure. He followed her into an on-call room down the hall and quickly shut the door.

"What are we doing here April?" He asked her anxiously. He was only slightly distracted when she pulled off her top. She let out a small giggle at his question.

"Well, I took off my shirt and now I'm standing here, in my bra, waiting for you to get naked so you can finish what I started?" She laughed at him and pulled apart the strings of his scrub pants again. He held her hands to stop them from doing what they were doing. Not that he didn't love the fact that April was almost always willing to get it on with him at the hospital, but he wanted more from her.

"No, I mean what are we doing? Are we dating? Is this just a random hook up for you? What do you want from this?" He spat out anxiously. Jackson had a million thoughts in his head, a million questions and no answers. This wasn't him. He was never the guy who was asking a woman what he meant to her. It was the other way around. But the moment he met April, something changed.

She shrugged. She didn't know what she wanted from it. As far as she knew they were both just having fun. Right now she was in Seattle doing her residency, reconnecting with her sister and if she got to hook up with a hot doctor for awhile, that was nothing to complain about. She thought about how she might want more, she might just want it to stay as it is, honestly she thought about how she hadn't really thought about it before at all. She didn't think he had either.

When her pager went off she was literally saved by the bell. She scooped her shirt off the floor and threw it back over her head. "That's Cristina, I have to go." She told him, kissing him once more before she took off down the hall. Maybe he should just let it go and let it be what it is for now.

Jackson found Alex in the hallway. He didn't want to talk to Karev more about what was going on with April, but there really wasn't anyone else. No one else knew and no one else cared as little as Karev either way.

While debating, Jackson stood awkwardly against the station Karev was charting at. After five minutes, Alex noticed Jacksons fidgeting. "What's wrong with you?"

He got right to the point. "I want April to be my girlfriend and she won't let me even ask her."

Alex laughed at the way Jackson nearly stomped his foot when he said that. The man was throwing a temper tantrum over a chick. He was only used to this kind of behavior from the kids in Peds.

"Pretty boy's not used to getting exactly what he wants, huh?" He laughed, shaking his head as he walked away. Not only did Jackson not get any answers from April yet, but he didn't get any advice from his friend either on how to get her to say yes.

April ran to the ER, assuming there was an emergency for obvious reasons. She saw her sister standing aimlessly near the nurses station, talking to Dr. Grey. She noticed that the pair were good friends so it wasn't really surprising.

Now she was kind of annoyed. There was something she'd wanted to tell Jackson and they were right in the middle of it. Not to mention she was a little 'worked up' from starting something else with him and not being able to finish. "You paged?"

"April, hey. Your shift is just about over, right?" she asked her sister, April nodded. "Some of us are heading over to Joe's across the street for a drink, want to come?"

"Yeah, that sounds good. Give me a few minutes to change and I'll be over?"

Cristina smiled. April turned to walk away. "I've never seen you so happy," she overheard Dr. Grey tease her sister. That had to mean something. Her frustration with her sister quickly faded once they'd actually talked, since Cristina hadn't given them the chance to talk for years. Now she just wanted to be in her sisters life. She wanted her sister to respect her and respect how far she's come. She wasn't the same sixteen year old girl that Cristina ran away from. Maybe that was why she's scared to mention her relationship with Jackson Avery, her boss.

Well, what do you think is going to happen in the last few chapters? What did April do when she was sixteen? Will her and Jackson get together? Officially? Leave a review!
