When Lucy called out Virgo she was highly shocked to find a petite and slim maid standing in front of her. Wasn't Duke Everlue's Virgo the size of a monstrous gorilla?

Instantly the maid began questioning Lucy about her amnesia and what task 'Princess' had called her out for.

"Princess, are you alright?"

Lucy gave her head a gentle shake. "I think so. Why do you keep calling me Princess?"

"That was the name you approved of. I can always change it to-"

Lucy raised her hand up to pause Virgo's offer. "If Princess is what we agreed to when we made the contract, I won't go back on it."

"As you wish, Princess."

Now that Lucy was more comfortable with the pink haired spirit before her, she explained the task she needed her to complete. Virgo nodded and assured her the job would be accomplished swiftly. Which, of course, it was. They didn't even have to replace any of the wood flooring.

As Natsu got to work melting the ice, Lucy gave her thanks to Virgo. The celestial spirit brought up the wizard's amnesia once more, but just as she'd done earlier, Lucy reassured her that she was fine and that no, her head didn't presently hurt.

Once she was certain her owner wasn't about to drop dead anytime soon, Virgo returned to the celestial world.

"Well, now that she's gone, which room should I work on now?" Lucy mused aloud as she spun around to walk out of the library.

Natsu was almost done melting Gray's ice, about half of the floor was unfrozen now. Unfrozen, as in the ice was now in its liquid phase. Natsu really should have waited until Lucy was out of the library to begin heating up the floor and not before. Well, it was too late now.

"Ahhh!"

Lucy didn't make it three spaces until she found herself slipping on the wet floor and falling backwards, managing to hit her head once more. Two falls in two days; things were not going very smoothly for one Lucky Lucy.

"Lucy!" cried out Natsu, shock and worry evident in his tone.

"Look what you did now, Natsu!" Happy exclaimed.

"Ugh," groaned Fairy Tail's celestial mage.

Natsu stopped what he was doing and rushed over to help Lucy sit up.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah... I think some of my memories returned." she told him.

"Which ones?" he asked, a slight hint of excitement in his voice.

"Um... Not good ones?"

Natsu's eyes narrowed. "Which ones, Lucy?"

"The phantom lord attack?"

"Oh."

Lucy's brown eyes lowered away from Natsu's dark orbs.

"Lucy," he said, after he regained his thoughts, "it wasn't your fault. We didn't blame you then and we definitely don't blame you now."

She only nodded back at him.

He gave her a gentle grin. "Let's get you out of here. I can dry you off, if you'd like."

They were in a spacious banquet hall with a long table covered in food. Virgo had just given her a new pair of clothes and the others were drying off around Natsu's flames...

"Lucy? Lucy?"

She blinked a few times and focused on Natsu's worried face.

"Yes?"

"You seemed to daze off there for a moment. I was helping you up, then you just became slack." he explained.

"Oh, I was remembering."

"Phantom again?"

"No. Something else... Did we ever visit a tower?"

"Yeah, the Tower of Heaven."

"Hmm..."

"Well, this must be a good sign if you're already getting some of your memories back. I was worried it would take you longer than just a day."

The two stood up then. Natsu heated up his body as the two made their way out of the mansion's library. Happy followed behind the two wizards.

Once Lucy was dried off, she gave Natsu her gratitude and headed off to start cleaning another room.

"Wait for me, Lucy."

Lucy turned to face the blue cat. "Happy, you should probably go find Erza. She doesn't know yet that Virgo was able to avoid drilling a hole into the floor."

"But she ordered me to help you!"

"Happy, do you think Erza is going to be happy when she gets back with unneeded merchandise?"

Happy paled. Then he flew out of the mansion, speeding towards the local town.

Then Lucy continued making her way up the mansion's stairs.

She found Gray in one of the many bedrooms. His shirt was still off, but thankfully his pants were still attached to his body.

"Hey," he greeted once he noticed her. "What happened earlier? Did someone get hurt?"

"No one actually got hurt."

"What does that mean?"

"I might have slipped and fallen in the library."

"Lucy, did you hit your head?"

To lie, or to not lie?

"Yes."

The ice wizard walked over to the blond. "Well, your eyes aren't dilated."

She swatted his approaching hand away. "I don't need a diagnosis, Gray."

"Fine. Your head."

He moved away from her and returned to his cleaning efforts. After a little while of silence, with Lucy standing at the doorway and Gray tossing trash away, the celestial mage cleared her throat to get the other's attention.

"Some of my memories came back."

"After you hit your head again?"

"Well, the first one came back after that. The second one came back after Natsu mentioned the fact that he is a walking fireplace."

Gray chuckled at Lucy's description of the flame brain.

"Well, I better get to work, too."

"Lucy, how about this time you don't hit your head?" he offered.

She huffed at his suggestion. "Its not like I'm doing it on purpose!"

"Uh-huh."

Lucy Heartfilia trekked away from the guest room and ice mage.

This really is an extensive home. I see why Erza was worried earlier about not finishing it all today. Well, its not like we're gonna get paid afterwards, so why speed up the process?

She entered a bathroom that appeared to be in the transitional phase between filth and spotlessness. Someone must have started this room earlier.

Lucy quickly picked up where the last person had stopped.

Gray continued making process in the room he'd chosen. So far he'd only found two lacrima crystals, which were safely lying on the bed to avoid any breakings.

Downstairs Natsu was done melting the ice and currently was mopping up all of the water.

Approximately an hour and twenty minutes had passed from the time Natsu had dropped that crystal in the library to when Erza and Happy returned to the mansion. Thankfully, the cat had reached her in time.

Happy flew off to find wherever Natsu was.

Erza once more climbed the mansion's staircase. This job request was taking longer than she initially thought it would take.

Oh well. Just as long as there are no more accidents, we should be able to accomplish this by tonight...
