Hey look everyone! A new chappie! Yay that was quicker than the last update, but it was still a bit of a wait and my apologies for that. Anyway, more development, and more things are happening. There is a bit more about April and Summer in this chapter. Which yay or nay, I honestly don't know how you all feel about them. So if you would please, I would love to know if you like them or not.
Thanks, enjoy the chapter and point out errors!
Jamie awoke with a start. What a strange dream he just had, it was blurry but it felt like it had really happened. He had attacked someone. He didn't know who but he had and he was pretty sure it was a boy. God boys again. He really had to get that out of his head. Stretching Jamie sat up and looked around the living room. It was empty except for Abby who was still sitting in the armchair. The air was quiet and only the faint ticking of the clock on the mantle could be heard.
Perhaps all this was was dreams. Maybe Jamie's dreams were just acting up. That happens to people… Right? Jamie ran a hand through his hair and leaned forward from the couch slightly. What was he going to do?
A voice caused Jamie to look up, "Kid!" Jamie jumped back a little at the surprise entry. But relaxed once he realized who it was.
"Jack, what are you doing here?" Jamie asked very confused.
"Oh," Jack looked over his shoulder as if someone was standing there and shrugged his shoulders then looked back to Jamie, "Well I heard that Pitch might be up to something and it involves you."
"Me?" Jamie asked alarmed then looked over Jack's shoulder, "Who were you looking at?"
Jack ran a hand through his snowy hair and chuckled slightly, "Well I didn't hear from just anyone that you might be in trouble, Jamie, I heard it from…"
"Who?" Jamie asked
"My siblings, well they aren't exactly related to me but we are the seasons. Or we were until I became a guardian but I still am a season," Jack started to ramble. Then he flinched as if something hot had touched his skin.
"Seasons?" Jamie asked, and then continued, "Like spring, summer and fall?"
"Ya," Jack shrugged as he rubbed at his shoulder, "But they are like how I was nine years ago, no one can see them, cause they aren't something to believe in."
Jamie glanced over Jack's shoulder and tried to understand but no one came into the line of sight, he sighed, "I am trying but I don't see them."
Jack set his chin in his hand and pondered for a moment, then shot his head up and turned around, and whispered to whoever was standing there, "Just do something prove that you are here… No you are not going to do that. No it hurts… However that is a wonderful idea, it might work." Jack turned back around, "Ok Jamie do you remember when I made it snow in your room?"
"Of course," Jamie smiled, "It was the day I started to believe in you."
Jack smiled, "Ok my sisters are going to try the same thing," he nodded to someone to his left, "K Sun go ahead."
Jamie watched Jack's face for any sign of what might be about to happen. But he was just smiling. Jamie felt very nervous for some reason. There were probably three other people in this room with him and he had no idea who. But then Jamie felt his skin warm up, and his stomach lightened. He felt relaxed and the warmth calmed his mind. His cheeks started to pinken and then he felt something warm touch against his cheek. He blinked.
When he noticed the girl in front of him Jamie launched back slightly into the couch. The girl was about Jack's height; she had very tan skin and such fiery red hair. She was wearing a short sleeve green dress accented with gold that came to just below her knees and wore no shoes, like Jack.
"Hello Jamie," the red head smiled, "Looks like sun kiss does work on you."
"Su..summer sun?" Jamie asked.
The girl laughed and crossed her arms over her chest, "Who else?" Jamie could tell that even in the sarcasm there was happiness in the girl, she looked like she could cry. Almost like Jack nearly had when Jamie had first seen him.
"Wow," Jamie whispered and he watched Jack and Summer look at one another before nodding to their left.
Jamie again waited, knowing now that another season was about to greet him. He sat in silence, then his nostrils filled with something sweet. The smell was honey and the grass after it rained. It felt so calming and fresh. Then he felt something hit his nose. Water. He looked up and several more drops fell onto his cheeks. He grinned.
"April Showers," He looked down from the ceiling and smiled into the eyes of the prettiest girl he had ever seen. The season in front of him had long very pale blonde hair, her face was pale, not as pale as Jack, her skin had more of a soft glow, her eyes were bright green and her cheeks were dotted lightly with freckles. She was considerably shorter than Jack and Summer, but she too was bare foot. Her outfit however was a loose white tee that was laced with brown string at the v of the collar and she wore a long tan skirt, it had slits up both sides up to her knees, revealing dark brown leggings.
"Pleased to meet you Jamie," She grinned and set a hand on her shoulder.
"Nice to meet you too," Jamie replied.
Jack spoke next, "Well Jamie that's us," He paused and looked around, "Except…"
"Where is fall?" Jamie asked confused.
"That terd probably got lost coming here," Summer snorted.
April rolled her eyes then looked to Jamie, "You probably didn't happen to see him but our brother Autumn was here."
"No I didn't," Jamie said looking to the three seasons.
"Of course he is missing," Summer groaned and rubbed one of her hands to her temple.
"We will find him," Jack said smiling.
"Look Jamie," April said kneeling down so she was eye level with the boy, "We came to check on you, Pitch has plans and we are worried something might happen to you. So if you ever need anything at all please let us know immediately."
Jamie nodded, "Of course."
"Good, we are going to go find Autumn now but we need you to contact us in whatever way you know if there is trouble alright?" April asked. Jamie just nodded again.
"See you round kid," Summer winked. Then the seasons all gathered and headed for the front door. Jamie waved good-bye as he watched them leave. When Jamie was sure they were gone he leaned back into the couch and pressed his hands to his face. What a night this was turning out to be.
After a moment Jamie stood from the couch and walked over to the window in the living room and stared outside. He wasn't even sure if he was awake anymore. Everything seemed to be passing in slow motion. And those season girls almost didn't seem real.
A sharp pain through Jamie's forehead suddenly interrupted his thoughts. It was searing and hot. He closed his eyes and he saw flashes. A place. A dark corner. A figure. Then he heard laughing and everything was red hot. Then just as quickly as it came it stopped.

"So you are a little chipper than usual Jack," Summer stated looking over to the boy. The three seasons were currently flying over cities near where Jamie lived searching for Autumn.
Jack shrugged, "Ha, well why can't I be in a good mood?"
Summer rolled her eyes and continued on ahead of the boy and April. April flew over closer to Jack and asked, "Jack what happened in the park?"
"What? What are you talking about?" Jack asked a little alarmed.
"We heard you scream Jack, what happened?" April asked.
"Nothing, I didn't scream," Jack quickly lied.
"No Jack you did. We could hear you. No one else could and it was loud and you just happen to be in the park. Jack please tell me what is going on," April pleaded.
Jack looked over to her and saw the concern in her eyes, Jack sighed, "Look it was nothing. I was just venting. And I feel better now, can't you just be happy about that?"
Jack flew up away from April before she had time to reply but she still quietly mumbled, "I am happy Jack, I am just worried."

In the darkness of the cave, Pitch was pacing. His heart rate was unusually high, for a number of reasons. One he had just seen Jack. Two he was in the middle of plotting. Three, well three was just because for some reason he was nervous. And he could not place where those nerves were coming from. He thought it might be because he was unsure of what to do with his plan now.
Sure he had one season now, he glanced over his shoulder to one of the cages he had kept tooth fairies in several years ago and smirked at the Auburn haired boy fast asleep. He had to hand it to that kid, he certainly was powerful. And he adapted quick; he was able to use the shadows to deliver the season with ease. However, the kid was still unaware of his abilities.
Now since Pitch was seeing the capabilities of this child he was having second thoughts on his plan. Initially he wanted the kid frightened, scared. That is why he went in his dreams to see what he wanted. Then when it was Jack, that altered things. Pitch had been hoping Jamie dreamt about a girl, or another boy, either he could care less. Or dreamt about something he wanted. Then adding a touch of nightmare sand Pitch wanted to see what that would turn into.
From there Pitch would have made that thing come to life. For instance having him watch a friend die, in what seems a dream and when he wakes up find he has killed the friend in real life. That would cause a fear wave, he would be so terrified to go to sleep, and since he is an influential kid, the whole town would fall into the fear. It was brilliant. Except now there was a snag.
Jack. Pitch was not going to kill Jack or have that kid kill him either. So after Pitch had entered the dream, he left a fear virus in the child to see what would happen. To see if deep down he would let it grow in him. And again, so far it was. Pitch had been the same way many many years ago, when fearlings had planted one in him. And perhaps if Pitch left enough of the virus in the boy, he would take Pitch's place. Then after Pitch let the kid take over, he could possibly be trusted more by the guardians and he would have a higher chance of being with Jack.
Certainly that seemed ideal, however Jack liked this child. And if Pitch were to do something to this kid, Jack would never forgive him. Never. And this is why Pitch was pacing. This is why he was nervous. Because he was not entirely sure of what to do. He had already planted the virus in the boy and he could already feel the fear growing from just that. Which felt remarkable. Plus there was the fact that he had a season trapped inside his cave as well, that he still wasn't entirely sure what to do with either. He was stuck
Pausing from his pacing Pitch walked over to the boy trapped in his lair and set his hand on the bars. He was sleeping with the help of the nightmare sand. So even though he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon, whatever was going through his head was certainly not pleasant. As Pitch watched the boy's chest rise and fall he thought of Jack. He could feel different heartstrings pulling as he thought of the boy.
That is when an idea came to his mind. His lips curled into a smile and he walked away from the season. He walked out to the edge of the cave and then out to the cliff. Looking to the sky he could see that dawn was approaching and the night would soon be over. Gracefully he jumped off the cliff and slinked into the shadows of the forest. He jumped from shadow to shadow until he reached the place where a broken bed sat over a hole.
Sure nine years ago he and the bed had been pulled into that hole by his nightmares. But he climbed back out and put the bed back. It was a symbol and it was also a decoy, that if the guardians came looking they could come here. No one knew that he had a new lair and he was going to keep it that way. However he was here on an entirely different purpose.
Walking over to the bed, he slipped into the shadows that led down the hole. Inside the old lair, it felt like home. It smelled like dust, but everything was the way he left it and better. Perfect.

After a few hours of searching for Breeze, the seasons decided to call it a night. And as the sun was starting to rise on that part of North America, Jack flew off to the North Pole. When he was there he went into the workshop. It was fairly quiet; it typically was at this hour in the morning. He glanced into the main landing area and noticed that even North wasn't up yet, odd, he is always up even if the Yetis are asleep.
In fact it was very quiet this morning, almost too quiet. Jack continued up into the workshop and up to the little closet he called his home. When he entered he reached for the light as the door closed behind him, but the light didn't turn on. He was soon surrounded by darkness. He tugged on the sting for the light a few times, before groaning and giving up. He turned to go out and find a new light bulb, but when he tried the door it wouldn't budge.
Confused Jack slammed his fist into the door and shouted, "Hey North! Help my door is stuck! Phil! Anybody!"
Jack backed away from the door into the darkness of the closet. Then he bumped into something, which wasn't the wall he knew for sure. He froze. Hands set on his shoulders and he could feel breathing on his neck.
"No need to shout Jack," the voice was familiar and devilish all at the same time. He grinned, Pitch continued, "I have an idea if you want to join me?"
"Of course," Jack smiled. Pitch didn't reply he just tightened his grip on the boy's shoulders and like that they vanished within the shadows.

When Jack and Pitch arrived out of the shadows, Jack tried to quickly orient himself as to where they were. It was fairly dark and it smelled like dust. Glancing around he noted the numerous black cages hanging overhead and the countless staircases leading who knows where. But jack realized where they were; they were in Pitch's lair. And Jack didn't know what emotion he felt at the moment; it was either excitement or nerves. Though those emotions were almost the same thing. Weren't they?
Jack turned to ask the older man what they were doing there, "Uh Pitch wha-" He was stopped mid question by Pitch grabbing his arm and towing him behind him. Pitch was practically sprinting and Jack wasn't sure why, so he shouted out, "What are we doing?"
Pitch stopped on a platform for a set of stairs and turned to smile at Jack, "You'll see." Before Jack could even begin to think about what was going or debate asking another questioning he was grabbed at the shoulders and spun into the wall behind Pitch. Jack was now pinned back against the wall Pitch looming over top of him. Instantly Jack felt his heart rate pick up and he felt something of a nervous sweat start at the base of his neck. He swallowed hard and looked up to Pitch.
Up until this moment he hadn't even realized he didn't have his staff with him. Well that could be a problem if Pitch's intentions were opposite to what Jack was predicting might be happening right now. But even then he wasn't exactly sure what was happening right now, and he may have felt a little more confidence if his staff was not sitting on the floor of a closet at the north pole.
"You're scared aren't you?" Pitch whispered. But Pitch knew the answer he felt the boy's fear radiating off of his person and into Pitch. It was oddly arousing.
Jack tried to laugh and sound confident, "You wish." But even Jack knew that Pitch was well aware that Jack was feeling all kinds of nervous right now.
"Perfect," Pitch whispered leaning in closer to Jack and letting his breath trail along the boy's neck. Jack shivered slightly and felt his fingertips slightly digging into the wall at the contact. Taking another breath Pitch let his lips barely feather over Jack's neck and up to his lips. There both of their lips lingered for a moment. Jack's lips parted slightly and Pitch felt the cool air lightly nip at his mouth. Smiling Pitch closed his eyes and pressed his lips to Jacks.
It was like any other kiss. It was soft, and it lasted for a few seconds before Pitch parted his lips. Jack, in response did the same, and then it became desire. As the men fought over ground in one another's mouth Pitch's hands and body shoved against Jack and forced the boy even closer to the wall. Jack laced his hands with Pitch's and as the kiss deepened even further, Pitch broke it and moved from Jack's lips back down to the boy's neck. He left kisses there. Then down to the nape of his neck and the kiss turned to a bite. Moans and breaths of pleasure escaped both parties as they continued.
Suddenly Jack felt an odd sensation, he felt like he was falling and he opened his eyes. At first he panicked then he realized they were traveling through shadows again. When they stopped and the room had returned, Jack felt his back was against something again. This time it was soft and this time he was laying down. And Pitch was no longer standing on top of him, rather staring down at him. Jack was pinned to the bed by the older spirit. Jack smirked at the man and Pitch's lips turned into a devilish smile.
"This is going to be fun Jack," Pitch chuckled then leaned forward and whispered in the young guardian's ear, "Trust me."
Oh ho ho, look the next chapter is going to have smut. Honestly smut is actually hard for me to write because I start to laugh when I write it. It is easy to read but I laugh when I write it. I am such a child.
Well we got to see a bit more of Pitch and still left you hanging on Jamie. And not to worry you will find out what is to happen very soon.
In fact today I figured out how much of this story is left, and their are like 8 chapters, so I am going to actually make this a little bit more of a priority now, so stay tuned.
