Alright here's the next chapter! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I'm trying to update my fics periodically so I don't do one all at once. I hope you enjoy it :D

Charlie held Dean's jacket while she watched him sneak up behind a completely oblivious Cas.

Cas was sitting in a chair, all you could see was his crazy hair sticking up above the back of the chair. He was sitting with his knees tucked up to his chest, reading along to a psychology text book with the audio book he had playing on blast in his ears.

Instead of jumping out at Cas or poking at his sides or yelling Dean decided to creep right up to the back of the chair, ignoring the curious college students glaring at him, and leaned down over the chair to place a sweet, but sensual kiss onto the back of his boyfriend's neck.

Cas sat up in surprise, dropping his book, ripping out his headphones, and whipping his torso a full one-hundred eighty degrees; all at once. His eyes were as wide as tennis balls and Dean wished he'd stayed like that longer so he could have taken a picture. Castiel's eyes softened and he smiled warmly.

"Fuck, Dean, you scared the shit outta me." Cas said standing to walk around the chair to face his boyfriend.

"I love it when you cuss." Dean said grinning and pulled Cas in for a deep kiss, not caring about who was watching or how they felt about it. Cas smiled and laughed into the kiss before submitting fully and melting into Dean.

After a minute or two they pulled apart.

"What are you doing here?" Cas asked looking up at Dean with a small smile, his hands were resting on Dean's chest.

"I came to see you, thought you might need a distraction before your finals," Dean said pulling back a little, keeping his hands on Cas' hips, "And by distraction I mean a stress reliever."

Oh Dean and his well known innuendos.

Cas hit his arm and laughed, "It is nice to see you, I'm happy to have a distraction."

"I got lost, by the way."

"You did?" Cas said giggling, "How'd you find your way here?"

"I swooped in and saved the day, just as the Queen of Moons always should." Charlie said scotching right into their personal space and handing Dean his jacket.

"What an odd way for Dean to meet my best friend." Cas said laughing, "But I've met Dean's so I suppose it should have happened eventually."

"Well she does seem pretty cool." Dean said smirking, "Queen of Moons and a fan of Lord of the Rings? Pfftt, I might steal her from you Cas."

"Dean and his little brother are die hard LOTR fans, Charlie." Cas explained and she grinned widely at them.

"Yeah, and Sammy is a total World of Warcraft geek. Beat the game twice when he was in fourth grade." Dean bragged.

"Wow," Charlie said grinning even wider, "That's impressive, he's the only person other then myself that's beaten the game so young."

"How old were you?"

She smiled evilly at Dean, "I was six."

To say the least, Dean liked Charlie a lot and they made plans to hang out at Cas's house some time which meant that Gabriel and Lucifer, (whom Dean had still not met) would be there as well, along with Jo and Sammy.

"What about your best friend?" Charlie asked and Cas frowned a little when he felt Dean stiffen next to him.

"My best friend, well she's, she—" Dean paused for a moment, "Meg lives where Cas works. That's how they met. She's uh, schizophrenic."

"Oh, I'm sorry," Charlie said resting a hand on Dean's arm, "I know how that can be; my little brother had severe autism." Dean smiled sadly at her, taking her hand and squeezing it.

"She could technically come if she wanted to, she checked herself into the place, but she really only comes out for holidays." Dean explained.

Charlie nodded, said "I'll catch yah later bitches" and then left Cas and Dean standing in each other's arms at the library.

"Wanna head over to the Roadhouse? Ellen'll probably make us some food." Dean asked and Castiel nodded.

When Dean and Cas got to the Roadhouse it wasn't even five thirty yet, it opens at six, Dean found the spare key inside the fake rifle that was one of the door handles and let themselves in.

They walked in to find Bobby leaning over the counter, talking to Ellen about something she apparently found extremely amusing and just down the bar, sitting on a pool table was Joanna Beth Harvelle, and standing between her legs with her arms wrapped around his shoulders was none other than Sam Winchester. Ash was shooting pool on the same pool table, ignoring them accept for whenever Sam snuck a kiss, then he would smack the back of Sam's head and grin up at him.

"Hey boys!" Ellen said when they walked in.

"Hiya Bobby, hey Ellen," Dean said smiling at them; he kept his arm around Cas' shoulders.

"Hello." Cas said smiling as he and Dean sat at the bar.

"Now Cas," Ellen said leaning over and smiling at him, "When are you gonna leave this little shit for me?"

"Ellen not in front of everyone," Cas said playing along and pretending to glance at Dean suspiciously.

"Hey, Cas isn't going anywhere," Dean said pulling Cas close to him possessively, "Not while I'm around." Dean kissed his cheek and Cas blushed.

"He's right" Cas said with a shrug and Dean beamed down at him.

"You two are almost as disgusting as Squatch and little Bo Peep over there." Bobby grunted, and nodded towards Sam and Jo.

"Thanks Bobby," Dean said chuckling, "I saw that coming three years ago."

"Pfftt.. I saw that coming when Sam held Jo's dress down in the wind on Easter when they were six." Ellen said laughing.

"WE CAN HEAR YOU GUYS, WE'RE NOT DEAF." Jo said loudly over to them, she was smiling.

They laughed and Sam blushed when Dean gave him a giant thumbs up and mouthed 'I told you so' at him. Sam then rolled his eyes and looked back at Jo who had been staring at him again. They didn't feel the need to hide their weirdo affectionate staring now that they were a couple.

This is definitely how people feel around me and Cas, Dean thought to himself.

Sam smiled at Jo.

"You do realize if Dean hadn't given me advice we wouldn't be together, right?" he asked blushing.

"Duh," She said giggling, "But if I acknowledge the fact that he did help you I will never hear the end of it."

"True, I guess only one of us really needs to deal with him." Sam agreed.

"Yeah, and since you're the brother you have to." She said smiling sweetly at him.

"You're lucky you're extra cute."

"I'm extra cute?" she asked blushing.

"Are you kidding? You're like…like super fucking gorgeous, and" Sam said smiling, "I get to kiss you all I want."

"That is true." She said nodding and smiled when Sam dipped his head to kiss her.

They kissed for about thirty seconds before someone said, "HEY NO KISSING IN THE BAR." It was Ash.

"Why not?" Dean asked pretending to be extremely upset.

"Dean, nobody cares if you and Cas are so wrapped up in your mooshy rainbow love that you kiss and forget that everyone else is there," Ash said rolling his eyes, "It's more of a 'no kissing Jo in the bar' rule."

"Shut your cake hole Ash before I tie your mullet to the back of Bobby's truck and drive it all the way to California." Jo hissed and Sam laughed, pulling her close, probably whispering that it was okay, Dean thought.

He actually whispered, "It's so hot when you threaten people." Good thing Dean wasn't close enough to hear.

They were just settling down back into their original rhythm of chatting and Ash playing pool and the couples were being all couply when Benny Lafayette walked into the bar. He had a grave look on his face.

Dean was on his feet and in front of Benny before anyone else.

"Benny? Is everything okay? Is Meg okay?" Dean asked worriedly.

"Dean," Benny said quietly, "No everything is not okay, not totally. Something is wrong with Meg, but she wants to tell you herself, all of you." He said.

"Guess we're headin over there then." Bobby said standing.

"I've got to head back to school anywyas." Cas said quietly.

"You're Castiel right? She wants you there as well," Benny said and Cas nodded standing next to Dean.

They all headed out, Sam and Jo and Cas with Dean in the impala, Ellen with Bobby in his truck, and they all followed Benny in his beat up pick up.

They were all standing in Meg's ward room; Benny was standing by the window silently away from everyone else. Meg would shoot him a sad glance once in a while, and Dean held her hand as he sat on the bed with her. Sam and Jo were sitting in front of her, Cas was sitting in front of Dean and Bobby and Ellen were standing.

"So, I know you're all probably very worried, and you have a right to be, I'm in a….predicament, but I don't want you to be too sad, because that is not good for the soul." Meg told them and they nodded.

"What's happened?" Dean almost whispered, his eyebrows were creased and he looked on the verge of tears and she hadn't even said anything yet.

"The doctors have found the source of my schizophrenia."

Everyone looked at her in surprise with eyebrows raised.

"Well?" Jo asked quietly.

"I've got a brain tumor, it's growing rapidly on my occipital and parietal lobes." She explained and everyone gasped, Dean swallowed thickly and took a deep breath, waiting for Meg to continue.

"If they had found out about it sooner they could have prevented this, but it's gotten to the point where they can no longer do anything. My hallucinations will continue to worsen at a faster speed than normal, and soon enough I will die."

Tears had started to spill silently down Dean's cheeks, his chest was heaving, his shoulders shaking, but he was completely silent. Ellen leaned into Bobby, Benny left the room in a fit of sadness, and Jo cried out, burying her face into Sam and he held her as she cried.

"Dean?" Meg whispered. Cas said their silently, holding Dean's other hand, Dean was gripping it so tight that even if Cas wanted to let go he wouldn't have been able to.

"It's not fair Meg." Dean whispered, his voice was coarse and shallow.

"I know," she told him, "I know Dean, but that's life ya know?"

"How long have you known?" he asked.

"Two days," she whispered.

"Why didn't you tell me?! I could have been here! Spending time with you! I could have helped you cope and…and…" Dean's voice died out and Meg pulled him to her. He still held Cas' hand.

"Listen to me Dean," Meg said in his ear as he cried on her shoulder, "You have made my entire life better than any normal persons. If I didn't have you I doubt I would have lived as long as I have. I want to spend my last few moments with you, with all of you. I'm going to check myself out of this stupid place and we're going to do all of the things we haven't yet, like that bucket list we made in high school, ya know? And then when I'm weak and ready to die, I will and I will not be sad and neither will you. Okay? Any of you. Be happy that I'm no longer suffering, living this retched life with this awful disease. Be happy that soon I will be at peace."

Dean nodded, took a deep breath and pulled back giving her a weak smile, "Okay. Alright."

Everyone else nodded, when Dean was far enough from Meg, Jo jumped up and hugged her tightly. Sam smiled sadly up at his brother and squeezed Dean's knee. Dean rubbed his head.

After a few moments Dean cleared his throat and asked the question that had been hanging above their heads for a while now.

"How long?" Dean almost whispered, "How long do you have?" he asked louder.

"Doc said I've got three months." She whispered, a single tear fell down her cheek, and Benny who was now standing next to her, (he'd calmed down) wiped it from her cheek. She grasped his hand with her free hand.

"Let's make the best of it huh?" Benny said and Meg laughed sadly. It was the last thing anyone in that room heard for a while; they stayed there in silence until Jo smiled up at Meg and said;

"Remember when Dean came out? We were all in your room, Sam and I were pretty sure you guys were like in love or something, and then Dean goes, 'You know, Logan Lerman is really hot.'"

Castiel was the first one to laugh, and the Meg started laughing and everyone else joined in and soon everyone was in tears.

"Guess you have a type, huh Dean?" Meg asked light heartedly.

"Yeah, my type is Cas, if you're not Cas then you're not my type." Dean said and smiled at his boyfriend.

"I want to kiss you both while we're all in the same room before I die." Meg said winking and they laughed, blushing.

"You should make a list," Jo said.

Meg pulled out a notebook and opened it to her and Dean's lists from high school. After Dean marveled at the fact that she still had them, she looked up and asked, "Anyone got a pen?"
