Chapter Six
You guys thanks for the reviews! :3 I'm glad you all like Alexis and Edward... I love 'em myself and can't help but write down scenes about them almost all the time ^_^. Since I'm having writers' block for my bleach fanfic. School reopens for my country tomorrow and so I will not be updating much since I will be very busy . It was a short Holiday and I hate it for ending so quickly, but HAPPY NEW YEAR'S! (Even though it's not so new anymore).
No questions again and so...
Fun Fact #2: Alexis's last name, Cascade, is from the Latin word 'Cascata' meaning waterfall.

Third Person P.O.V
"That's impossible..." Gray's voice makes Alexis look over to him to find the boy slightly shaking as his eyes stared up at the monster encased inside the ice. "It's Deliora...that's impossible!"
Gray knows what it is? The female dragon slayer can only watch as Gray slowly makes his way toward the creature, concern beginning to come to her for the teen. From the way he is reacting, Alexis can only assume that he knows what the creature is and might have even witnessed the monster firsthand. His reaction towards the monster is just too strong for just knowing what it is.
"How... how could this happen? Why is it here? Why the hell is Deliora on this island?!" His voice though shaky, was starting to raise with hysteria.
"You saw this thing before?" Natsu asks confusedly.
"It just can't be... It just can't..." Gray is cut off by Lucy resting a comforting hand on his shoulder much to Alexis' relief. She didn't want her friend to run mad from whatever this thing was reminding him of.
"Gray, please calm down." Lucy says in a comforting tone, which helps the ice mage as he takes several deep breaths to calm himself.
"This... thing is Deliora. It's the Demon of Destruction." Gray begins, as he begins to calm down.
"Demon of Construction?" Natsu utters lowly, but a nudge from Alexis makes him look at her to see the girl giving him a glare. "What?"
"Destruction, Natsu." Happy corrects him.
"I wonder why it's here..." Alexis wonders aloud while picking Edward up to scratch his ears. She usually does this when she thinks, and the gray cat accepts the offer gladly and begins to purr softly as Alexis scratches behind his right ear.
Before anyone can say anything else on the topic, the sound of footsteps makes them look to the passageway it was coming from. Hearing them, the group quickly find a hiding spot behind a huge rock and wait for whoever to appear.
Two men come out, each very different from the other. One man being the shortest out of the group who is slim with dark blue hair and thick black eyebrows. The next man has dog-like features and shoulder length, straight light brown hair- that matches the color of his skin- with only a pair of jeans on along with a belt.
"The voices seemed to have come from here... I hate to be awake during the day." The short man says. "So, Toby, were you exposed to the Moon Drip? You've got pointy ears..." The man continues, amusement clear in his voice as he aggravates his companion.
"I already told you, they are a fashion statement, you jerk! Why can't you ever be nice, Yuka?" The one called Toby shouts.
"Calm down. I was only joking." The now named Yuka replies.
"You don't have to be so mean about it..." Toby says lowly.
"Those two said Moon Drip... could that be the curse?" Lucy asks in a low voice.
"Could be... He did make a joke on that dog-like man's ears so I'm guessing it might be." Alexis replies, pulling Edward closer to her chest much to the cat's annoyance.
"Could you let go? I really don't want to be suffocated by those big-" Edward is cut off as Alexis places a hand over his mouth.
"Shush, Ed." The gray cat glares up at the brunette, but Alexis ignores him.
Her reason for doing so appears as a young woman appears through the same cavern. Her hair pink hair is placed into twin pigtails and her eyes are a pretty blue along with her short pink dress and leggings that shows off both her curves and large breasts.
"Toby, Yuka, something terrible has happened..." The woman says in a sad tone.
"What now, Sherry?" Toby asks, voice sounding clearly annoyed while the shortest of the group give the girl a wave.
"It's Angelica, she's been attacked and I'm sad." She explains to the two.
"You're moping because someone attacked your stupid pet rat?!" Toby exclaims.
"A thing that size is her pet?" Alexis asks no one in particular, disbelief written on her face as she continues to eavesdrop on the three people.
"She's weird..." Lucy whispers.
"Pfft. Looks whose talking." Happy snickers from behind Natsu.
"What'd you say?" Lucy demands in a low threatening voice while turning back to glare at him.
"She's not a rat... She's a brave hunter who prowls the jungle just to protect us. She is... love..." Shelly states in a slight dreamy-like voice.
"She's definitely not normal." Alexis deadpans.
"Yeah, and judging from the scent I picked up from off them, they're not from this island." Natsu states. Alexis sniffs the air and nods as confirmation when Edward looks to her.
"Natsu's right. They smell different from the islanders and this island..."
"And they don't look like if they're cursed." Happy comments.
"Intruders, you says?" Yuka interrupts the group and they're attention returns to the three strangers.
"Yes, and it's almost time to collect the moon light again." Shelly replies. "That makes me sad... This news will surely upset the Cold Emperor. We should getrid of them before he finds out... Yes... let's do that. We must find them before the moon's first light."
"Agreed." Yuka says, a sickening grin coming to his features. A rock being tossed down a near tavern catches the three strangers' attentions and they soon run to find out what it is, leaving the Fairy Tail members alone once more.
"Good job, Happy." Lucy says as they all come out of their hiding spot. The blue cat gives her a nod accepting her thanks.
"I still say we should've grabbed and beaten some answers out of 'em." Natsu rants, clearly being disappointed at not getting to do as he pleased.
"It's best if we didn't. We don't even know who they are and why they're here." Alexis tries to reason with the pink haired boy who just happens to only look away from her with a huff.
"Still, I don't know what people would want with Deliora in the first place." Gray speaks up.
"You never did get around telling us what Deliora is, Gray." Edward states, staring up at the teen with an eyebrow raised. "You seem to know this demon from how you reacted very well."
"Edward." Alexis scoops the cat up, slight anger shown on her face, but he ignores her and continues to stare at Gray.
"It's okay." Gray says, causing the brunette sigh seeing that he wasn't upset about what the insensitive gray cat had said. Gray then goes on to explain about Deliora and how he knew the demon. In his story he tells how the demon was encased in the ice.
"My master, Ur, she sacrificed everything to seal it away... I don't know if it has anything to do with this cursed island, but I do know that it doesn't belong here. This Cold Emperor... I don't care who he is, but if he tries to tarnish my master's legacy, then I'll make him regret the day he was born!" Gray exclaims, his ice magic beginning to form around his right hand due to his rage.
"Gray, calm down." Alexis says, placing a firm hand on the teen's shoulder while her other begins to loose his fingers out of the clench hold he had unconsciously clenched and the ice magic begins to ebb away. Gray looks at her, and Alexis gives him a reassuring smile. "We'll deal with this 'Cold Emperor' before he can even try to lay on a hand on your master's legacy."
"Yeah, don't worry. If it comes down to it, then all we do is find this Cold Emperor guy and kick his ass." Natsu assures, a grin on his face.

I know it's short and that this a pathetic update but I promise (cross my heart and hope to die promise) that I'll update tomorrow afternoon guys!
