A/N: Ahhhh sorry this took so long but once again thank you to the people that have stuck around, sent reviews, message and all around kept me going!if it wasn't for you guys this might have very well been abandoned a long time ago (like Chase! Haha, sorry that was a terrible joke) Anyway, please enjoy Chapter seven of Fallen Knights!

This whole plan was unconventional. It was stupid, crazy, and really REALLY dumb. It was exactly the kind of plan Chase would think up. Jinja couldn't but smile at that thought. The fact that they even had a plan at all was amazing, astounding. Whether or not it would work was another thing but she had to remain hopeful.

It had been about four days since they had been taken now, however it felt like years with everything that had been going on. But now they had a plan, they had hope that they would have Chase and Beyal back.

They just had to wait a little longer.

Chase didn't think he could wait any longer.

They had taken Beyal back to his cell about two hours ago and then simply left him alone. With nothing to do. At all!

In that time he had contemplated his situation, thought about how he should totally have been rescued by now, wondered if at any point would S.T.O.R.M feed him and tried very, very, hard not to look at the flecks of blood on the floor and wall in front of him.

Now he really needed to go to the bathroom.

He'd been calling out for the past half hour but with no reply. He honestly didn't think he could wait any longer.

He was gonna burst.

And besides, asking to go to the toilet was the only way he could think of that meant the guards might let him out of these cuffs and give him a chance to get away to find Beyal ad get the hell out of here.

He was worried about the young monk, who had taken quite a beating in the name of protecting Jeredy. Chase wanted to thank him for that. He also wanted to be sure that he wasn't hurt as bad as he had looked.

Because he had looked really, really, bad when Charlemagne's goons had dragged him out of the room, his body limp, eyes closed.

No matter how much he wanted to protect his father, Chase was not willing to lose a friend because of it.

Meditation had its uses and while it had saved Beyal from the majority of pain while he had been interrogated, it did not work so well once he had woken from it. Of course he would have rather stay in his meditative state but it was far too dangerous as his injuries desperately needed tending to.

He took off his large coat, wincing as he did so when the movement aggravated his ribs. Being careful not to jolt anymore injuries he slowly began to tear stirps off the coat. While he hated to do so, his need outweigh his sentimentalism.

He had managed to both protect Jerdy and Chase for now and was more than willing to continue to do so but knew that eventually Chase would reveal Jeredy's location in order to stop them from hurting him anymore. Beyal would not allow that to happen. If Jeredy was taken by Charlemagne then every Monsuno one earth would be in danger, and so would the people.

His duty would not allow for this to happen.

But before he could even try and escape again he needed to take of his injuries. After that he could try picking the lock on his cell with the broken shard of one of his bangles. And while he was doing it try very hard not to think about why they hadn't been rescued yet.

He looked up at the sound of approaching footsteps, stomach turning at the thought of the guards coming back to take him once more. He really didn't want to have to deal with more of that yet, he hadn't even had the chance to take care of his injuries yet.

However who he saw was not Charlemagne nor was it a guard. To say the least the sight of that particular person was particularly shocking to Beyal and for a moment he thought himself hallucinating, that is until the person spoke.

This was taking longer then Charlemagne had predicted. Perhaps she would have been better off taking the smaller child with Glasses. Oh well, she would work with what she had. After all, capturing Chase and one of his friends was a feat hard enough to complete as it was.

He may have been taking longer the break then she would have liked but she did not in any way doubt her power to break him. She had reduced grown men to tears, made them beg for death, and she would do the same to Chase and his friend before this weeks end.

However, while having Chase was useful and the information he could give invaluable, she was perturbed at the lack of rescue attempts. She had been counting on Jeredy and Chase's little team coming to break the two out. But they had yet to show.

With a grin she sat back in her chair, if Jeredy was so hesitant to rescue his son perhaps she could use that against him. Children had faith in their parents, but a child that had been abandoned; again, well that faith would be all too easy to break.

"What are-?"

"Take it."

A small plastic box landed beside him. Beyal reached out and opened it, finding first aid supplies. He was shocked, but thankful, for the much needed supplies.

"Thank yo-"

"Don't. I'm not doing for any reasons other than you're more useful to her alive."

Beyal shook his head. There was more to this then the other was saying.

"Why are you really here?"

The other looked away, turning as if wanting to leave.

"She forgets." He sighed, words quiet, head down and shoulders deflated.

"What?"

"She forgets how easily people break. How hard it is to mend."

"I see."

"No, you don't." Anger in his words this time, a scowl on his face.

"I'm sorry..."

"What?!"

"…For what she has done to you."

"What? Shut up, you have no idea what you're talking about."

"I don't mean to-"

"STOP!" He was furious. Gone was the quiet sadness replaced now with this burning fury.

Beyal was startled by the force of the emotion within that one word. The other was looking wide eyed and distressed.

"You understand nothing, and you don't understand me. So just stay out of it, okay!"

Beyal nodded quietly, watching as the other turned and begun to walk away. Against his better judgement he called out once more.

"Alpha…truly, I am grateful….thank you.."

Alpha nodded, "Just make sure you hide it when you're done. I don't need to be getting into any more trouble."

Beyal nodded back, watching the door slide shut behind the tortured young boy who hated them, yet had helped anyway.

Things were almost ready.

They were so close now, so few things left to prepare.

We're coming for you son. I'm coming for you.

He wouldn't fail Chase this time. He wouldn't fail him ever again. It was time Jeredy started being the father Chase needed, the father he deserved. And the second Chase was out of that horrid place Jeredy was going to do just that.

I'm sorry Chase. I'm so sorry. I won't ever let this happen to you again.

The door banged it was open again as Charlemagne made her entrance as threatening and grade as before. Chase just rolled his eyes and sat back; glad to see Beyal wasn't with her. He was disconcerted to see a rather vicious glint in her eye as she approached him.

She held no whip; there were no guards, no other weapons. But somehow Chase felt more frightened in this moment than any other moment he had faced her. She was to calm, to quiet, standing like the statue of a general that had won a war.

She was looking at him so directly and he

wanted nothing more than to look away. He was to prideful however, so the staring match continued as Chase tried not to let this odd behaviour get to him.

He almost jumped when she spoke, so startled by her suddenly loud and thickly accented voice puncturing the silence of the room.

"So Chase Suno, do you not find it odd your father is yet to come for you?"

The question was asked so casually yet felt like a punch in the gut. Chase's mouth hung open as though he had been winded and now gasped for air.

"You have been here for quite a while now, have you not. Long enough for Jeredy and your little team to launch an attack. And yet they have not done so. Dose this not upset you?"

Chase shook his head and tried to regain composure. "I know what you're trying to do."

Charlemagne laughed, loud and cruel as she always did, "I am merely telling you the truth Chase Suno. I will admit his absence has been a surprise for me as well. I was hoping he would take the bait and try to recuse you, falling into my hands as he does so. Yet it seems he is more willing to let his son be taken as bait then he is willing to risk his own life by rescuing you."

Chase had nothing to say to that. No witty reply. No joking remark. No way to dispute her words.

He could only sit there and try to hold back the tears he felt welling.

She gave a final smirk before exiting the room, leaving Chase to try and deny everything he had just heard as lies.

But there was an element of truth in her harsh words he couldn't deny. And Chase had to wonder, was his father really coming for him, or had he been abandoned again?
