Normal POV

Sonic, Amy, and Flash were in the car. Flash didn't know what was going on. Sonic didn't want to take the car, because he could have just carried Amy and Flash in his arms towards the hospital. Amy said no to that because she gained some weight.

"I told you I'm strong enough to carry you and Fla-" Sonic began as he drove to the hospital.

"Sonic, I'm fat! There, I said it."

Sonic parked the car in the hospital parking lot and turned off the car. He turned his body towards Amy and looked at her in the eyes.

"You're not fat." Sonic said.

"Are you saying I was fat?"

"What? No!"

"Why are you saying no?"

"Oh my god." Sonic said under his breath. "Let's go see Sonic."

Amy could not function as well as she used to now that she is pregnant. She always forgets things and she doesn't pay attention that often. She always in her own little world. Sonic doesn't mind it, but sometimes it feels like he's a single parent. Anyways, Sonic managed to get Amy and Flash out of the car. They walked to the front door.

"I'm looking for Shadow the Hedgehog." Sonic said.

"Floor 5 room 245." The front desk lady.

Sonic held Flash and took Amy's hand. They went all the way up to the 5th floor. They walked down the hallway and they reached door 245. Sonic was about to knock on the door when Jasmine opened the door.

"I thought I heard you guys down the hallway." Jasmine said. "Come in!"

Jasmine let Sonic, Amy, and Flash in the room. Everyone was in there. Shadow was awake, but he was beat up. Sonic smirked at Shadow seeing him beat up. He felt good about it, but at the same time he felt sorry for Shadow. Jasmine shut the door and walked over to the side of the bed and held Shadow's hand. Shadow grinned and looked at Sonic. Sonic grinned back at Shadow.

"How's he doing?" Amy asked holding Flash.

"Pretty good." Jasmine said. "I was just leaving the hospital and I saw this happened."

"It's a good thing you work here." Tails said.

"I would laugh but Amy would kick my butt." Sonic said to Shadow.

"Fuck you." Shadow said.

"I measured his blood and heart pressure." Jasmine said.

"What'd they say?" Cream asked.

"It was really low...Like 1.3" Jasmine said trying to remember the numbers.

"Just like Shadow's GPA!" Sonic said.

"Sonic!" Amy yelled hitting Sonic's arm.

"At least I have a GPA." Shadow said.

"Shut up, Faker."

Shadow stuck his tongue out and so did Sonic. They both glared at each other. One by one everyone left. Sonic, Amy, and Flash were the last to leave. Sonic and Flash went out to the car while Jasmine and Amy talked in the hallway. Shadow fell asleep. Right when Jasmine stepped out in the hallway she started to cry her eyes. Amy hugged her right away.

"Jasmine what's wrong!? He's fine." Amy said not letting go of the hug.

"I was so worried Amy! I thought he wasn't going to make it!"

"He'll make it. I promise!"

"I'm glad I found him but..."

Jasmine cried even harder and she covered her mouth. She sat down in a chair and Amy sat down next to her. Amy rubbed Jasmine's back and confronted her. It took a while before Jasmine could talk again. She looked up at Amy with her watery eyes. Her eyes were red from crying.

"I-I don't have enough money to help Shadow."

"What's the bill?"

Jasmine reached into her pocket and took out the bill. Amy grabbed it and looked at it. Her eyes went right to left. She couldn't believe all these numbers. She should have listened in math class. She reached the end of the bill. Her mouth dropped and looked at Jasmine.

"Oh Jasmine. I'm really sorry about all this." Amy said.

"I'll have to use my retirement savings." Jasmine said.

"Or."

"Or what?"

"I can help you pay for this."

Jasmine's eyes lit up once Amy said that. Tears started to form in her eyes again, but they were happy tears. Jasmine screamed and hugged Amy tight. Amy hugged her back. They talked for a while until Amy remembered that Sonic and Flash were waiting for her. Amy walked out of the hospital. As she walked out put her hand on her stomach and smiled. She reached the car and looked in the drivers seat. Sonic was on the other side fast asleep with Flash laying on his chest. Amy opened the door and started the car.

"Huh...What?" Sonic asked looking around.

"Sorry I took so long. We're gonna help pay Shadow's bill."

"What" No way!" Sonic yelled.

Flash woke up and his eyes went wide. Sonic noticed and held Flash close to him.

"I'm not helping." Sonic said.

"Yes you are."

"No."

"Yes."

"Why don't we let Flash decide." Sonic said with an evil grin. "Flash. Yes or no?"

Flash starred up at Sonic. He didn't say anything for a moment. Flash looked at Amy as she drove. He reached his hand out towards Amy.

"Mah." Flash said.

"I win." Amy said.

"We will each put 1000 rings" Amy said putting 4 rings in a jar.

"Yea, good luck with that." Sonic said walking out the front door. "I'm off to work."

Amy grabbed the back of Sonic's black shirt. Sonic gagged and stepped back. He turned around facing Amy. She had her hands on her hips. She tapped her foot. Sonic rolled her his eyes and went into the living room were the jar was. He reached into his pocket and pulled out 10 rings. He stuck his hand out over the jar. He opened his hands and the rings fell everywhere expect for the jar.

"Sonic! Put them in the jar." Amy said.

"I'll do it later. Now, I'm off to work with Flash."

Sonic run upstairs and grabbed Flash. Sonic held Flash in his arms and they walked towards the front door. Sonic kissed Amy's cheek and they left. Amy thought to herself. She notice that Sonic and her were starting to fight with each other. Sonic never really liked Shadow. They sometimes got along in high school, but money was tight now that Amy is pregnant again. Amy grabbed her car keys and went work. As she drove to work she got a call from someone.

"Hello?" Amy asked.

"Hey Amy! I got you text! Tails, Miles, and I are putting 1000 rings in the jar."

"That's great! Sonic is not happy about it at all."

"Really? What happened?"

"Oh just stuff. We'll have to get dinner one night and I'll tell you everything."

"Gossip, I love it! I better go. School starts in a few. Bye! Love you!"

"Love you too!"

"I thought you loved dad!" Miles yelled in the background.

Cream hung up and Amy giggled to herself. She got to work and parked the car. She closed her eyes and put hands on her stomach for a moment. She opened her eyes and got out of the car. She locked the car and walked into the building and into her office.

"We should be done in 10 days if we put 100 rings in the jar everyday." Amy said putting 1 ring into the jar.

"There's goes Christmas presents this year." Sonic said eating his dinner.

"What's the matter with you?"

"What's the matter with you?"

"I asked you first."

"Ladies first."

Amy rolled her eyes. Sonic put his fork down and put his elbow on the table and waited for Amy to talk. Amy put her napkin on the table and pushed her chair out. She walked towards the door to leave, but Sonic reached his hands out and grabbed Amy's waist. She fell on his lap and Sonic hugged her from behind.

"I'm sorry." Sonic said laying his head on her shoulder. "If I was in Shadow's position I would want all the help I could get."

"No, I should've not pushed you into doing this."

"Hey, before you know it this will all be over."

Sonic moved Amy's hair away from her neck and kissed her neck. Amy's shoulders went up and she tried to get away, but Sonic wouldn't let her.

"I gotta pee!" Amy said laughing.

Sonic chuckled and let go. Amy stood up and turned around. She grabbed the plates before going to the bathroom. Sonic got up and turned off the lights. He walked into the living room and dialed a number. He set the phone up to his ear and waited for an answer.

"What do you want?"

"Hey Faker! You still in the hospital?"

"Yea. Jasmine told me that you and Amy are helping us pay for the bill."

"Y-Yea."

"Fuck you."

"Fuck you too."

Shadow hung up and Sonic hung also. Sonic grinned and looked at his phone. Amy heard Sonic talking over the phone.

"That was sweet, Sonic." Amy said sitting on the couch.

"You heard all that."

"Just the fuck you part. You love Shadow!"

"I do not!" Sonic said crossing his arms.

"Yes you do!"

"No I don't!"

Amy knew she was right. Everyone knew that Sonic and Shadow liked having each other in their lives. They wouldn't show it though. The couple headed upstairs and they went to bed.

"9,998. 9,999. 10,000!" Jasmine yelled. "We did it!"

Everyone was in the lobby of the hospital. They all cheered. Shadow was in a wheel chair. Carted run up to Jasmine and hugged her. Soon all the girls did a group hug. Tails held out his arms and walked over to Shadow. Tails hugged Shadow and Sonic quickly took his phone. Shadow saw his and flipped Sonic off. Soon, all the guys joined in for a group up expect for Sonic.

"What's the matter Faker? Scared a hugs?" Shadow said.

Sonic sighed and walked over to the group of boys. Sonic said at Shadow lap.

"Santa! I want my money back!" Sonic said in a little kids voice.

Shadow punched Sonic off and he fell on the ground. Everyone laughed and Carter high five Shadow. Silver helped Sonic up. Sonic went behind Shadow's wheel chair and rolled him down the hallway laughing on the way.

"Sonic! Get back here!" Amy yelled.

"I'll get them!" Knuckles yelled running after them.

"Wait for me!" Tails said.

"I wanna come!" Blaze said.

"Wait up!" Tikal said.

"I want in on this!" Cream said.

"Don't leave me behind!" Silver said.

"I don't want to have to pay for anything else!" Jasmine said.

"I'll stay with you, Amy." Carter said putting her arm around Amy's shoulder.

"Thanks." Amy said. "I'll never understand our friends."

"Me too. Me too."
