Meant To Be

Ready or Not Here We Come!

"Oh wow, it's morning already!" Sakura said to herself groggily while she yawned sleepily, she brought her little hand to her soft light pink lips, to cover her mouth. Her eyes still remained slightly closed. After a silent minute passed by, besides for the chirping of the baby birds outside her glass door; that led to her balcony, and the sound of her groaning softly, finally her stunning big light green eyes fluttered open, slowly waking up to start the new day. Her eyes sparkled in the sunlight that was given off from the balcony door. She gently wiped her eyes with her fists sleepily, due to the fact that she was still half asleep. That was when she finally smelt the grease from the bacon as well as freshly brewed coffee, it lingered in the air.

She took a deep breath letting the air fill her lungs, as she tossed around in her bed.

Her room was brightly lit, and the lamp beside her on her bed side table wasn't even turned on yet.

She stretched her little arms up as high as she could, her hands clenched into a fist as she brought her arms up to the ceiling, and she smiled sweetly as she glanced out her glass door and through it she could see the light blue sky, and then she gasped when she remembered that today was a special day. Before getting out of bed, she reached her hand over to her lamp and turned it on. Even though the light didn't do much, she kept it on.

She then quickly pulled her warm, comfy, as well as puffy comforter that was the lightest shade of pink, off her body, and shivered slighty when the cool air hit her skin. Once she jumped out of bed happily her feet touched the white fluffy rug that was on the floor underneath her bed. She quickly changed out of her white cotton night gown which had puffy sleeves that went down to her wrists. The bottom of the night gown was frilly and trimmed with a light peachy pink color, as well as the sleeves. Her mom hemmed the night gown the night before in fear of her tripping, because it had been too long, reaching past the floor. Pulling it off over her head. For a second all she could see was darkness until it fell onto the floor. And then she started to change into her dress that was draped neatly on her little coloring station.

Her glass stained double french doors and around the glass was wood painted a bright white, that could be opened for her to go on to her large balcony to stare out to the village of Konoha, and underneath in Mebuki's beautiful garden was a beautiful old pink cherry blossom tree that was planted in the front yard, over a hundred years ago. It had see through white drapes over the door that flowed down to the floor, she could see the bright yellow sun shining through, brightening up her room. She could tell it was going to be a good day!

She walked over to her door, and pulled the curtains apart, to let even more light come into her room.

Today was a big day, it was going to be getting her prepared to be the best ninja around one day, or so she hoped just like all the little kids that were also going to the academy hoped. It was where dreams began to come true! They wouldn't be learning any that exciting for a while though, they'll mostly be learning about the culture, and history of Konoha for the first half of the year. And then they start going into the basics.

She walked over to her mirror that was connected to her dresser, in her little walk, slightly swaying her little hips, she grabbed her hairbrush that was sitting on top of her dresser, and ran a brush through her shoulder length pink hair. Once she got all the snarls out, she ran her fingers through her soft hair.

She then placed her hairbrush back on the dresser, and then grabbed her lucky red ribbon, and tied back her bangs that she was trying to grow out. She regretted letting her mom cut her hair a month ago, because she came to realized just how slowly her hair grew back.

Sakura couldn't believe that today was going to be her first day at the academy, she went to bed early and she even picked out what she was going to wear for her first day, the night before. Taking her maroon red a-line dress, that her mom made for her a week before, it was just long enough to cover her short legs, a little above her knees. She had asked her mom to make it for her so she could feel like a princess.

When she put it on that morning, before going downstairs to have the breakfast that either Mikoto made or her mother, she spun around as she looked at herself in the mirror. Watching the material of the dress fly around with her. She giggled softly to herself.

She then sat down on the floor, and struggled slightly to put her red flats on.

Before she left the room, she took one final look through the mirror and adjusted her dress, by pulling her dress down a bit.

As she left her room, she left the lights on by accident, and once she opened her door open and started walking to the stair case, she accidentally bumped into her best friend the moment she set her foot out the door.

"Oof" She groaned in a cute manner, it came out softly, almost unheard, as she fell butt first onto the hard wood floor. She glared slightly at the floor and then looked up to glare at Sasuke in a jokingly manner and pouted, as Sasuke pointed at her and a laughed, his head falling back in pure amusement. His sweet, exciting laugh that she didn't hear enough, but couldn't get enough of. The sound was music to her ears. He moved his bangs off his face, and smiled sweetly at her.

"Do you need helping getting up Saks?" Sasuke asked as he bended forward, and reached his hand out in an attempt to help her up.

Sakura in return took his hand, but instead of using it to help her get up, she pulled him down with her. It happened in a blink of an eye. One second his feet were sturdily on the ground, and the next he was laying on top of her.

When Sasuke suddenly was falling on the floor he gasped. His eyes widened. And then before he could even blink he fell softly onto her, but he quickly rolled off her.

"Hey! I was trying to be nice, that was unfair!" He hollered glaring at her, but when he looked at her with her tongue sticking out of her mouth, as her head fell back laughing, as she clenched onto her heart, tears falling down her face; he couldn't help but laugh along with her.

Once she was up she flattened her dress down and smiled at him as Sasuke patted down his dark faded jeans, getting the non existing dirt off him. And then he smoothed out the wrinkles and creases of his dark navy blue shirt that had a raised collar with the Uchiha crest on the back.

"Well that was fun!" She started saying once they both got off the floor. She was smiling her usual cheeky smile that shined brightly at him, "So are you ready for our first day!" She said excitedly, trying her best to control her excitement. But failed miserably.

"Mhm! I'm gonna be the strongest ninja there! Itachi has already taught me how to throw a kunai!" Sasuke said proudly, since the night before he went off to the training grounds with Itachi. He couldn't believe that he actually convinced him to do it, since all the other times he asked he said he was too busy. But he was happy nonetheless.

"Noowaai! So that's where you were. I was trying to find you after we had dinner, but you just disappeared! You have to teach me Sasuke-Kun!" Sakura gasped and shouted excitedly.

"Nope!" He smirked.

"Pleasee!" She begged cutely and tilted her head.

"You two, get down here! You're gonna be late for your first day if you don't hurry it up! And you still need to eat breakfast! You can't go to the academy on an empty stomach! I won't have it!" Mikoto hollered from the bottom of the stairs.

"Alright mom!" Sasuke said, and began walking down the stairs leaving Sakura behind.

Sakura quickly caught up to him, and grabbed Sasuke's hand. He glanced over his shoulder to peer over at her.

"Yeah?" He questioned curiously, as he raised his eyebrow.

"I'll love you forever if you teach me!" Sakura proposed.

"You already do though!" Sasuke said slightly blushing.

"Well, well... Umm. Comee on Sasuke pleasee!" Sakura begged while she pouted and stared at him and tilted her head cutely.

"Fine!" He gave in.

"Ohmygosh really!" She then jumped onto him and hugged him to near death when they reached the bottom on the stairs. Her smile seemed to lite up her entire face.

'She's so beautiful.." Sasuke thought to himself.

"It's not that big of a deal!" He said looking away as his face turned even redder. A small gentle smile formed across his face. One of those smiles that just come, and you can't control. They just come naturally, and they dance on your face as your try to scowl, but you can't.

"Well it matters to me! Thank you Sasuke-Kun, you are truly the best!" She says happily as she skips past him to enter the dinning room, and slowly turns around just to stick her tongue out at him. And Sasuke just shakes his head, and admired how her beautiful hair swayed gently all around.

There was already food on the table when they make it into the dinning room. On both of the plates there were waffles, bacon, as well as an over easy egg, and a slice of toast that had a layer of butter spread onto it. There was also orange juice in two round glass cups as well as maple syrup on the table.

Both of their moms had already finished eating a few minutes ago, and they were now busy cleaning up the mess in the kitchen.

When Sasuke entered the dinning room, a few seconds after Sakura, Sakura is already taking a bite of her toast. She smiles up to him happily, her eyes are slightly squinting.

Once he sits down, he goes to grab the maple syrup but Sakura beats him to it, and laughs at him. She drowns her waffle as well as her bacon in syrup.

"Umm, Kura.. Don't you think that's maybe a little bit too much maple syrup?" Sasuke asks as he watched Sakura literally make her waffles be drenched in syrup. She chooses to ignore him, as she blinks and continues to pour it on.

"You know, that stuff is really expensive." Sasuke informed.

Sakura then looked at him and gasped when she remembered that this wasn't the cheap stuff. She quickly stop pouring the maple syrup on, and looks and Sasuke innocently.

"Whoops, you're right! Hehe, it's just so good!" Sakura said nervously.

Sasuke just shaked his head at her.

Once Sakura handed the syrup over to him, he only puts a tad bit on, because he didn't want it to be too sweet.

"Mmm, this is soo good!" Sakura says as she devoured her waffles.

Once they finish eating they brought there plates into the kitchen, where there moms were sitting at the island chatting to one another.

"Well don't you two look nice!" Mikoto said loudly as they walked into the room.

Mebuki turned around in her chair to get a good look at the two kids that were standing behind her chair.

"Ohmygoodness! I wish I knew where your camera was Mikoto!" Mebuki said gasping when she saw how adorable her daughter looked in the dress she made her.

"Well even if we did know where it was, we wouldn't have time!" Mikoto informed as Sakura and Sasuke walked over to the sink and washed their plates off and then placed them into the sink.

"That's true." Mebuki said softly and then she grabbed her coffee cup that Sakura got for her on her birthday last year. It said in black cursive printing, I love you a latte. Sakura bought it for her mother because she fell in love with it the moment she saw it in the store. She thought it was perfectly hilarious. So Mikoto bought it for her so she could give it her mother. Mebuki brought the coffee cup to her lips and then took the final sip of her coffee. And then she signed in delight.

"Are you two ready for you first day?" Mikoto says bubbly.

"Mmhmm!" They say in unison.

"Well alright, lets get going then! We don't want you two to be late, now do we?!" Mebuki says, as she gets up from her stool.

A.N Well the next chapter will be them at the academy, and Sakura is going to meet two new friends, hmm I wonder who it's gonna be! ;p Well anywho this is sort of short, but I have homework. I might reedit this later and add a through things, as well as make sure I wrote everything well, sorry if there is any mistakes!
