Chapter 7 (Hope you're liking. Sorry I haven't posted in forever! Had so much to deal with but now I'm back! This is from Jean's POV.)

Within the timing of her falling, Logan, Charles, Scott, and I were out of the room and on our way down there. This whole time not once did she show emotions for everyone to see nor did her abilities weaken her. That girl had power, her passing out like that, showed she didn't know her limits, she was immature, irresponsible, and couldn't control them.

We made it down there to see Kay resting on what was once Dani's bed. Ororo started checking heart rate, pulse and her breathing.
"Everything is fine. I don't understand what happened. She should be awake and fine." She started pacing back and forth.
"It might be mental not physically Ororo." Charles took a seat right next to Kay.

"Charles what makes you think you can get into her head? Like you said she has a wall or something so you can't get in there. What if she wakes and finds you going through her head?" Scott was always thinking of what could go wrong or why it couldn't work.
"She is weak Scott mentally and physically. She's still going to put up a fight to let me in but she has no choice if she wants to wake up. I picked it up before that her abilities might be weakening I guess I was right and this must have pushed her too far." Charles had known that her abilities were weakening her and didn't stop her, he wanted this to happen.

"You wanted for her to get hurt?" Logan seemed concerned about her, his emotions were hot and cold. But none the less this was out of character for Charles wanting a mutant to get hurt from using their abilities.
"I did not want her hurt but weak and this seems like a better chance than never to find out anything on this girl that I can." I didn't understand Charles, something was wrong with him.
"This isn't you Charles you'd never wish this upon anyone." Logan snapped, clearly this angry came out of nowhere, with the shock on his face.
"This isn't like Jean either is it? Snappy, unkind. But yet no one questions her on her own intentions." I hadn't realized this was how I was acting towards them. All eyes were on me. Dani slowly walked over to me.

She stopped right in front of me, looked straight at me then to my stomach. She slowly moved her hands there, she rested them lightly and closed her eyes she looked calm and also like she knew what she was doing. On the other hand I was freaking out and uneasy about it.

"You're with child Jean." She whispered lightly I could barely make it out, she lost balance Logan caught hold of her. Once she could stand she had a look of confusion.
"Dani are you okay?" Rouge moved towards her for comfort but clearly shocked over what had happen in the last ten minutes.
"I'm fine. All of you need to stop worrying about me, and worry about Kay." She easily moved the attention from her to the girl lying in the bed, who just happened to flat line at that very moment.

Chaos started, Ororo had screamed for everyone to leave, no one listened. Scott racking through the cupboards looks for something, Logan blaming Charles, Charles arguing back. Dani and Rouge had moved in beside Kay helping as much as they could. Alex stood there frozen beside Kay, he hadn't moved since we entered the room. Bobby was helping Scott look for something.

A high-pitch scream filled to room, everyone froze and turned to face a little girl, standing next to a male with similar features to both the girl and Kay.
"What'd you do to my aunt?" The little girl bolded towards Kay. Pushing pass Rouge and Dani.
"What'd you do to her?" Guy took a threatening step forwards
"I'd watch it buddy if I were you. We..." He gestured towards everyone but Charles." Didn't do anything to her." Logan was always protective of us, always has been.
"Then what about him?" he point at Charles
"She did it to herself. I knew there was a chance something might happen." Charles spoken in a dangerous tone.
"She's waking up!" Alex looked like he was going to explode with excitement.

Kay lifted her body up to look at everyone, her eyes stop on four accounts, Logan, Rouge, Dani, and Alex. They finally settled on her niece and the man standing behind her.
"Matty? Who told you I was here?" His expression harden when the words left her mouth.
"Leo. I went looking for you to talk and he filled me in, unwillingly."
"That's because what I do doesn't have anything to do with you. Matthew." Clearly he was pissing her off, the chair started shaking.
"Lydia was asking to see you, what was I meant to tell her?"
"That I was busy?" everyone started getting uncomfortable by the convocation happening. Kay glanced at us, a spark of fury shone in her eyes, and then turned back the Matthew refocusing her eyes on him.
"Enough. Matt go home with Lydia, I'll be there in my own time."
"And when will that be? When you feel like it?"
" I said go home."
"Daddy listens to her, she explained it to us, and I understand it why can't you trust her?" The girl, Lydia had piped up again. Confused by what she'd said. Matt seemed to listen to her.
"Fine." Just like that they were gone.

Kay dropped her act, dropping her face into her hands, three moments past before anyone spoke.
"Who was that?" Bobby had finally asked the question that had been on everyone's mind.
"My jerk of a brother." Her voice held a lot of pain, too much pain to how old she looked.
"What happened? You went down? Don't tell me a little tattoo is all it takes to bring you down?" Scott had a smug look on his face, normally only towards Logan.

Her head shot up, her eye darted in his direction.
"No." was all she said, sounding breathless like it'd taken everything out of her just to say one word.
"Are you okay?" Dani had moved close to her, Kay's eyes met Dani with such pain in them it was hurting me. The look was brief, her head dropped and shook it. We all moved in closer to her, somehow thinking that she might tell us what's going on, nope. Kay's eyes met Charles and stayed there. We stood there for three minutes well Charles and Kay just look at each other.
"OKAY! What's going on?" I didn't mean for it to come out that loud but it happened. Everyone looked at me, Kay and Dani flinched.
"You're glowing Jean." Kay barely said it as a whisper.
