A Tale of Two Cousins

Yet again, Hakkai and Gojyo led the girls to the marketplace. Although Kadence and Jordan looked lovingly at each shop they passed, the men pushed them forward to a store nearby full of only guy apparel. They walked inside and were greeted right away, by the women working there. Jordan glared at two female customers at the corner of the shop giggling. She could tell they were laughing at her and Kadence… she sighed, she really couldn't blame them. She'd laugh too. Jordan glanced at her cousin again scanning her outfit…she just had to wear Rudolf Pajamas, the day we get sucked into another dimension. She also looked down at her outfit, then smiled slyly. Maybe it was a sign. At least they had stuff to sleep in.

One of the ladies that worked there walked up to the group and offered her assistance. Hakkai began to talk to her, as Gojyo snuck away. Jordan and Kadence stuck by Hakkai's side. Jordan still couldn't get the incident from before, off her mind.

"I see, follow me." The lady said.

Hakkai, Kadence and Jordan followed her, as she led them through the racks of clothes. She left them at an area where there were lots of loose looking clothes, and active wear. Jordon picked up a pair of pants that looked kind of cute and was amazed at how light they were. Hakkai looked around realizing Gojyo was nowhere to be found.

Kadence reminded herself quickly that they were looking for clothes they could fight in, not anything to just wear out.

Jordan grabbed a couple of pants on the racks, that reminded her of the army style cargo pants they had back home (technically in their dimension), She spotted a small long black tank, that seemed pretty loose… think I have an idea.

"Looks good to me, just don't forget clothes for the cold." Hakkai commented cutting into Jordan's thoughts. Jordan watched as he walked towards the lady that worked in the shop again.

Kadence also began to browse through the clothes, a plain white shirt appealed to her right away, and some long shorts, that were a super light weight jean material. They seemed small, and she assumed that if she wore them, they would fit perfectly around her butt. I think I have an idea.

"Here ladies." Hakkai handed, both cousins a bag, one light brown, the other black. They were the exact same. Each had one strap, so it could be carried over the shoulder, like a purse or backpack. At the top, each closed with a string and flap that buckled.

"What's this for?" Kadence asked curiously, as she inspected it some more.

"To carry our stuff… Duh." Jordan walked around her to inspect the other racks.

Kadence flipped her cousin the middle finger then smiled guiltily at Hakkai. Jordan smirked, it was always fun mocking her baby cousin.

"I'll get your sleeping bags, then be back." Hakkai said as he turned to leave, towards the opposite side of the store.

"By the way Kade, Hakkai reminded me that we also need clothes for the cold." Jordan stated as she evaluated the clothes in her arms.

"Ok will do."

Hakkai walked back towards the girls, while scanning the shop for his best friend's red head, but he was still missing. What is that guy up to?

"Hey, here you go ladies." Hakkai handed them each a sleeping bag.

"Just in time, Hakkai. We were about to head to the dressing rooms." Kadence smiled, as she walked with her items towards the fitting rooms.

The girls entered the fitting rooms and shut the doors behind them. Hakkai waited and reminded himself, not to get distracted like last time. He glanced out the windows, seeing it was evening and the sun was starting to go down.

"Did I miss anything?"

Hakkai turned around to see Gojyo. He had two outfits with a slim black cover over each of them.

"Where've you been?" Hakkai asked curiously.

"I-."

Gojyo was interrupted by the opening of the dressing room doors. Jordan stepped out in her cargo pants and loose long black tank top. As Kadence walked out in her long jean shorts, and white slim fit shirt.

"What do you think?" Kadence asked as she turned. "We both got the same idea, to modify it as soon as we get to the hotel again."

"We are going to make them Kadence and Jordan customized." Jordan grinned.

"It's…nice." Hakkai smiled. It definitely was not what he expected and he was honestly a little disappointed.

"That's great girls." Gojyo scoffed as he handed them the two black bags with the outfits. "But, try these on. I think these will be better for training and all sorts of stuff." Gojyo winked.

Jordan raised an eyebrow, and then turned towards Hakkai. "Hakkai, would you mind getting my cousin and I, a jacket or sweater or something for the cold? We were too busy looking at the clothes to get something. Sorry to trouble you."

"It's no problem at all." Hakkai smiled and left for the items.

Jordan followed her cousin into the fitting rooms again. She was a little anxious to see what was in the black bags Gojyo handed them.

Hakkai grabbed two big fur coats that he was surprised to see. He somehow felt maybe the merciful goddess had something to do with this one. Really? Two women fur coats? In a guy's apparel place? Well, no matter. They have something for when it gets cold….I guess.

-Somewhere up in the heavens, a lady in a big chair smiled-

"HELL NO! I AM NOT WEARING THIS!"

"NEITHER AM I! WHERE THE HELL DID YOU EVEN FIND THESE!? DAMN PERVERT!"

Somehow I bet Gojyo has something to do with this. What did he do now? Hakkai walked towards the dressing rooms with the two huge fur coats in one arm. He was startled at the scene he arrived to. Gojyo was on the floor with one black bag on his head and the other across his lap. Kadence and Jordan stood over him angrily.

"Need I ask?" Hakkai looked down at his friend on the floor.

"Not really." Gojyo blew strands of hair off his face.

The bags were slit open just a enough to see what was inside… and Hakkai could see something that resembled straps, and bunny ears. Really?
