Ki Control is the basic and secret to mastering the teachings of Master Zen that Naruto would be taught in the coming future, especially the techniques Master Zen had knowledge of. Naruto was still in the same location where Master Zen was meditating upon the river with a pouring waterfall in the background, Naruto was standing within the shallow water concentrating or powering up. As he did with clenched teeth bare and showing with a bead of sweat coming down from his brow the water around his form began to flare up just below knee level of his legs, the teen concentrating to perfecting his Ki.

"Remember that practice creates perfection. Once you fully perfect yourself in the control of your Ki it should make it that much easier for you to learn any other techniques I have to offer you down the line, especially in how much power you put into your Kamehameha and yourself."

"Is it always this hard?"

"Of course it is, it was hard for me but eventually I got it down."

"This is stressful!" Naruto said with gritted teeth bare and showing with the water rising slightly a little higher to just under knee level.

"You look like you are about to pull something, Naruto." Master Zen said with closed eyes and he cans here Naruto growling. "Just stop right now, Naruto?"

Naruto did as told letting himself fall back into the water and he can even hear Master Zen approaching him as he walked upon the water until stopping and looking down upon Naruto with crossed arms over his chest.

"There is a better way to improve you Ki Control."

"How?"

"It's called meditation."

"Sounds boring."

"But necessary."

"Do I have to?"

"If you wish to better your Ki Control at a quicker pace and you should be grateful for this method because this was not presented to me in my training way back then."

"How does this method-," Naruto sits himself up now having the parts of his hair hanged over now that it was wet "-quicken my progress in Ki Control?"

"First you will have to learn a new jutsu."

"What kind of jutsu?" Naruto asked and even looked to how Master Zen was standing upon the water like it was a floor. "And how are you doing that?"

"The jutsu you will be learning is actually a forbidden one that is within the Scroll of Sealing."

"Are you serious?" Naruto asked standing himself up. "What jutsu is this?"

"It's called the Shadow Clone jutsu."

"The Shadow Clone jutsu as in the same jutsu that Mizuki used against me and Iruka sensei?"

"The very same as the use of this jutsu takes up a great amount of Chakra, and did you remember seeing Mizuki's conditions abusing the technique?"

"Yeah I noticed that sweat going down that brow of his from a mile away." Naruto said growing a smirk.

"That is why the jutsu is considered forbidden because if Mizuki kept abusing the jutsu throughout that battle he would have surely killed himself. This jutsu requires absolute caution in its use and Mizuki knew that. This jutsu could be your greatest ally or your enemy."

"If you know this to be true then why are you teaching me it?"

"Because, Naruto, you have benefits."

"What do you mean by benefits?"

"I am sure you heard it from Mizuki of what you hold prisoner within you."

Naruto looked down letting his hair shadow his eyes with his hands turning into fists.

"Yeah…I am sure you knew that entire time to then huh?"

"Complete honesty?"

"Not asking you to hold back…"

"I did."

"That's not the reason you picked me out of all people is it?"

"Of course not."

Naruto brought his head back up with a smile on his face again.

"Well that's good to know."

"Are you ready to learn the jutsu?"

"Hell yeah!"

"I am sure you know by now how the Shadow Clone differs from other clone jutsu's right?"

"Shadow Clones are solid and not an illusion."

"Excellent now don't expect to nail this jutsu on your first try understand?"

"Nothings ever easy is it?"

"Nothing ever is, Naruto."

"Then where would the fun in that be if it was?"

"Do you remember the seal Mizuki used for the jutsu?"

"You mean-," Naruto creates a cross seal "-this?"

"This jutsu is no easy one to master, in fact it is dangerous and life threatening."

"Sounds risky I like it."

"If you are so eager then we will get started right away."

Master Zen watched from atop the rock he was now standing upon in the middle of the river with his arms crossed over his chest observing Naruto who was practicing the jutsu on the shore. He kept watching Naruto calling out the jutsu applying Chakra but every time one came out or perhaps two they would be a wreck or sometimes considered good but not looking to be in a healthy condition. He continued to watch Naruto practice the jutsu but he knew what his flaw was…

"It's his Chakra control…It's terrible and what makes it so terrible is the overwhelming amount he carries, and there is one certain fox inside him you would have to thank for that adding to the amount he carried before thanks to his mother's side. I will admit that without the assistance of this jutsu that Naruto would eventually master his Ki Control but who knows how long it could take. For someone like him and his ancestors I would imagine in a matter of months or possibly weeks but him needing the assistance of the Shadow Clone jutsu proves just how bad your Ki Control is, Naruto."

Master Zen has a flashback to Naruto's performance with the Kamehameha Wave against Mizuki replaying in his head…

"I am sorry to say this, Naruto, but when you used the Kamehameha last night on a mastering level that was only out of anger. At first I thought you did master but I miscalculated it seems. I know because I sensed it and would explain how exhausted you were after using it. You managed to put in the right amount but you overflowed the technique itself just like you are doing with the Shadow Clone jutsu, I am surprised Mizuki didn't die. You put in too much of the necessary Ki while keeping a focused mind and calm accomplishing the attack, and it was because of this you managed to perform the Kamehameha, and not to mention the anger having part to do with it. You are putting in the right amount for the Shadow Clone as we speak but it seems that you require putting even more, and this is because of your bad control over your own Chakra. Fortunately I know a great method of training to bettering your Chakra Control besides running up trees…"

To put simply Naruto put in the necessary level of Ki into the Kamehameha but because his Ki Control at the point was so bad he had to put in more than he should have to seemingly master and use the technique, and not to mention with the assistance of rage. It was the same thing he was doing for the Shadow Clone jutsu because of his poor Chakra Control. Naruto was getting there but he was applying just a little too much then is needed to master the jutsu. Master Zen let Naruto continue to see just how long it would take him to master the Shadow Clone jutsu at the rate he was going, and believe it or not it took Naruto a total of two hours to get it down before falling to his butt along with a total of ten Shadow Clones around him mimicking his action. Naruto picked up his head looking toward Master Zen who was looking upon Naruto with a calculating eye and Naruto giving him thumbs up.

"I did it!"

"Not quite."

"Huh?"

Master Zen walked across the water to shoreline now standing before Naruto who was still sitting down confused.

"What do you mean by that? There are ten of me sitting here?"

"Yes and look how long it took you to get it down."

"Hey like you said not everything is easy."

"That I did. Naruto, do you realize why it took you so long to master such a jutsu like this?"

"Why?"

"Because, Naruto, your Chakra Control is terrible."

"Terrible!"

"In fact it's pathetic."

"Well that's kind of harsh…"

"With any average ninja that has what it takes to even perform the jutsu and master it would have taken them less than two hours maybe even less than one, but they would be incredibly exhausted because they don't have as much Chakra as you. That is why you don't seem or feel so drained. To be honest with you if it was Sasuke learning this jutsu I have a strong feeling he would have truly mastered it within the hour."

"Truly mastered?" Naruto questioned standing himself up as his Shadow Clones disperse.

"Don't get me wrong, Naruto, being able to create up to ten clones is an admirable feat but if you had proper Chakra Control then you can make two times that amount, maybe more."

"What do you mean by truly mastered?"

"You put it the necessary amount of Charka and if you had proper Charka Control you would have summoned your clones then and there with possibly more numbers, BUT because your Chakra Control is so bad you need to push a little more Chakra to accomplish the jutsu and that is a problem. To truly master the Shadow Clone jutsu you need to better your Chakra Control without the need to adding more then you should to the jutsu, and when you truly master it is when we can move on to bettering your Ki Control, and once you better your Ki Control then you will truly master the Kamehameha Wave."

"What methods are there to bettering my Chakra Control? I did tree climbing like everyone else in the academy did?"

"True that it helps with Chakra Control but what they failed to tell you is that it is a longer process of bettering your Chakra Control, but there is a greater method and more difficult one."

"There is?"

"Have you ever tried Water Walking?"

"You mean like what you were doing moments ago? Also I recall Sasuke doing the same thing?"

"Yes."

"Heard of it but never seen in action till this day or even tried it. In fact no one at the academy has even learned Water Walking?"

"Then you will learn today but don't think you will master it on your first try."

"You want a bet?" Naruto asked with a smile.

"I don't need to bet I know."

"Oh yeah I'll prove it to you right now!"

"Then do so…"

Master Zen with his hands crossed over his chest leaped high up in the air to landing upon the center rock that he was originally sitting upon in the middle of the river.

"Try to reach this point then?"

"No problem!"

"To do this it is almost the same as tree climbing but this time you are not walking or running up along trees. You are walking on WATER and a currently moving substance at this moment. It's simple, apply the necessary amount of Chakra to your feet and walk forward, and one more thing if you fall you have to start all over."

"I won't be because I am going to nail this on my first shot!"

"Then show me?"

Naruto got into position forming the appropriate hand seal and he began to channel his Chakra to the souls of his feet just as he did when he was trained in Tree Climbing in the academy. He focuses his Chakra to the souls of his feet in successful perfection and afterwards sprinted toward the shoreline to leaping up into the air dropping down upon the flowing river. However when he landed upon it his feet sunk in and he was having trouble keeping his balance as his form wobbled.

"What's wrong, Naruto?"

"Nothing!" Naruto immediately said as he was trying to keep his balance.

"You did say that you were going to nail it on your first shot so get over here and prove me wrong?"

"Well then here I-,"

Naruto falls over splashing into the water leaving behind a chuckling Zen Sarutobi who then laughs aloud into the sky while Naruto's head slowly emerges out of the water, but only half of it with his nose above water turning around facing Master Zen looking upon the man with a small glare.

"You know, Naruto, if you are going to talk the talk you better be ready to walk the walk."

Naruto's head fully emerges out of the water as he spits out a spray of water to his right before asking Master Zen…

"You knew that I would fail didn't you?"

"You had to have expected it as well. Didn't I tell you that your Chakra Control was terrible?"

"Got a point there," Naruto said as he turned away making his way back to shore to try again.

"I promise you, Naruto, when you master Chakra Control and master the Shadow Clone jutsu it will deliver you most satisfying results in the progression of your Ki Control. So don't doubt, don't give up. YOU GOT THAT?!"

Naruto who was not back upon the shore turned his head to looking over his shoulder with a smile ever gracing his face. Quickly turning around facing his master he recreates the necessary seal and says aloud…

"YES MASTER!"

"Very good my pupil…"

Sasuke was walking through the village streets and he just could not get Naruto's progress of power out of his mind from the other day.

"How did you get so strong is such a short amount of time, Naruto?"

"You're not the only one wondering that very same thing."

Sasuke looked off to his right taking sight of Kiba who just so happened to have heard Sasuke thoughts that he was speaking to himself aloud.

"Kiba, what do you want?"

"Answers just like you."

"Oh goodie lets be friends…" Sasuke said in a sarcastic tone.

"Just shut up for a second ok? You are wondering the same thing as I am and that how Naruto has become this strong already in such a short amount of time?"

"So what?"

"So you must be thinking that Naruto couldn't have progressed this much on his own right?"

"You believe he received training from someone in the village?"

"And it has to be someone good because to make Naruto this strong in just five days is somewhat of a miracle to me."

"Just because he progressed this much in a mere five days doesn't it make it such a great thing or much less a god sent miracle, Kiba."

"Aren't you at least wondering just what kind of training he went under?"

"Why wouldn't I be wondering?"

"Then what say we go and find out then?"

"I don't have time to waste spying on Naruto; I have to continue on with my own training."

Sasuke began walking away leaving Kiba behind.

"How do we both know that it was not the Hokage himself that gave him such training?"

This made Sasuke stop in his tracks looking over his shoulder upon Kiba.

"For all we know he could be receiving special training from the man as we speak."

"That would be special treatment and I am sure that even the village's own ninja would see it to be sort of unfair."

"Who else better than the Hokage himself to make Naruto this strong is this short amount of time?"

Now this got Sasuke's attention considering it to be a possibility but surely the Third would not just take Naruto under his wing and no one else, right? It really would be seen as sort of unfair even though if the Hokage wanted to train Naruto he can because his word was practically law. Kiba can see that he had Sasuke in his ropes and now all there was to do was tie the knot.

"Actually I have a strong feeling that Naruto is receiving training from him right now. I did see Naruto heading outside the village all alone and perhaps to a secluded area where they would not be disturbed?"

Kiba now had Sasuke's full attention now curious of Kiba's conspiracy theory that could possibly be true.

"If we were to look for him how would we find him?"

Kiba smirked as landing beside him was his big dog Akamaru who gave out a bark.

"When it comes to the Inazuka Clan our sense of smell is unmatched and luckily for us I have Naruto's scent down by memory. Once we get outside of the village we begin tracking him to wherever he is."

"Ok, Kiba, I'll amuse you for the time being, but this better not be a waste of my time." Sasuke thought. "You're the one with the keen nose so lead the way?"

Naruto was now doing a lot better than he was before with another hour having past and when Naruto reached Master Zen's point he leaped up landing upon the same large spaced stone that his master was standing upon, Naruto looking up to him and Zen down upon him with his arms still crossed over his chest.

"Very good, Naruto, and I can see that you Chakra Control has improved."

"So am I going to have to keep manually focusing Chakra to my feet all the time to do this?"

"No because eventually you will begin walking on water without even realizing it."

"So then that's it for Chakra Control then?"

"Your Chakra Control has surely improved but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't stop practicing."

"Understood."

"Now are you ready to try the Shadow Clone Jutsu once again?"

"Yes sir!"

Naruto leaped away through the air from his position landing back on shore bringing up the necessary seal and began channeling the right amount of Chakra required. Master Zen kept his senses up feeling the amount of Chakra that Naruto was putting into it and it was now far better than before if not perfect, and it was good enough for now because he wanted to improve Naruto's Ki Control. He watched as there was poof of smoke and appearing instead of a mere ten from last time was now twenty Shadow Clones of Naruto.

"Now that's better." Master Zen said aloud as he leaped from his position landing before the Naruto's before him. "This is good enough and now we move onto the next step."

"Let me guess?"

"Meditation."

"Aweeeee!"

"Oh don't whine as if it is going to kill you, you'll live."

"But it sounds so boring."

"But crucially necessary if you want to get stronger."

"I guess?"

"Don't I recall something about whining?"

"I take it back!" Naruto said rather quickly.

"Besides with the Shadow Clone jutsu this should go two times faster in improving your Ki Control. I want you to create only a mere total of two Shadow Clones that will stay here upon shore, you including your Shadow Clones will assume position and get started."

"So this meditation is only to better my Ki Control?"

"Yes you are not concentrating on Charka but on Ki. I want you to channel your Ki, calm and focus your mind, and as time goes by your Ki Control should improve two times faster."

"Why don't I just make a dozen or more clones?"

"You don't want to overdo it for you or your clones and we don't want you tiring yourself out not waking up in time the next morning now do we?."

"I suppose."

Master Zen pointed toward the rock in the center of the river for Naruto to head to and assume the position while he turned and looked upon the first two clones he saw.

"The rest of you disperse but you two stay behind."

"What for?" One of the Shadow Clones asked.

"Are you questioning me?"

"No sir!"

The rest of the clone's poof into smoke leaving two of them behind.

"Now you two assume the position?"

"But it seems to bor-,"

"DO AS I SAY!"

"Yes sir!" The two Shadow Clones said freighted.

"Now sit?"

The two clones do as told as he turns his gaze upon Naruto who was now sitting crossed legged upon the rock in the center of the river.

"Now remember I want you to sorely concentrate channeling your Ki and not Chakra within meditation, and no matter what stay focused within your meditation letting not a thing around you divert away your meditation."

"I understand."

"Now take in a breath, close your eyes, remain still, remain calm, block everything out, channel your Ki and begin."

Naruto's clones did the same thing and Master Zen proceeded to watch Naruto and his clones, and the first couple of seconds nothing special seemed to be seen but then if you watched Naruto you would see his Ki brighten around his form. The outline of his form glow a white color now and the same began to happen to his clones. Master Zen can sense it, Naruto concentrating on his Ki to better his control over it…

"If Naruto keeps up with his meditation concentrating his Ki it should better his control. That is if Naruto has enough patience in the field of meditation." Master Zen thought. "I wonder how long he will last before his willpower to just sit there breaks."

Meanwhile barely walking out of the village standing just outside the opened gates of the village was Sasuke and Kiba with the Inazuka up front with Akamaru by his side.

"So hurry up and pick up his scent already." Sasuke demanded.

"What stick is up your ass?"

"If it ever looks or seems that I have a stick up my ass it is either for a good reason or that I just want to be left alone. Now you and your dog hurry on up leading us to Naruto."

Kiba only gave Sasuke a growl in response before giving his nose a sniff of the air with Akamaru doing the same, and while at the same time Sasuke crossed his arms over his chest waiting. Sasuke continued to watch and observe as Kiba and Akamaru continued to sniff the air for Naruto's scent for the past couple of seconds now going past a minute.

"Any day now…"

"Hey I am trying to concentrate here."

"Since when does using your nose to smell a certain scent require concentration? You said it yourself that you knew Naruto's scent by mere memory? For someone who boasts about his superior keen of smell your time in even finding his scent says otherwise. Now I really believe you just like to run your mouth."

"Oh and what about you?"

"Since when have I boasted about any of my skills?" Kiba didn't give a reply "That's what I thought now have you picked up his scent yet?" Akamaru gave out a bark "Well would you look at that, Akamaru is faster than you."

"Shut up already. Did you find it boy?"

Akamaru barks, Kiba sniffs and ding!

"That's Naruto's scent alright."

"Then lead the way?" Sasuke asked now starting to get impatient with not finding Naruto but with Kiba.

"Let's go Akamaru!"

So far ten minutes have gone by as Master Zen continued to watch Naruto meditate while concentrating his Ki and just a while ago, which was happening right now, the water around the rock Naruto was sitting upon was flaring up about five inches in the air. This was happening in the response of Naruto concentrating on improving his Ki Control, the water swirling around the boulder he was sitting upon. Master Zen continued to sit upon the shoreline with crossed legs and arms upon his chest with closed eyes feeling Naruto's Ki Control improving. However he heard Naruto begin to give out a growl causing Master Zen to open one of his eyes looking toward Naruto noticing his left closed eye beginning to twitch meaning that Naruto was about to crack.

"You need to learn patience, Naruto."

"But it's so hard to sit here doing nothing."

"You aren't doing nothing, Naruto, you are training."

"I know but this is just so-," Naruto's concentration is broken as he was distracting himself, the water that was swirling around his form falling back into the water "-boring."

"Did I not tell you to block all forms of distraction?"

"Yeah?"

"That includes even me."

"Sorry?"

"Don't apologize just resume your training."

Master Zen's attention was drawn away as he can sense two presences coming their way and Naruto even noticed.

"Master Zen, is something wrong?"

"Naruto, you weren't perhaps followed by any chance were you?"

"No is something wrong?"

"Don't worry about it as in the meantime you continue on with your training."

"Where are you going?"

"To deal with this situation."

Before Naruto's eyes Master Zen vanished before his eyes not with the use of a Body Flicker but he did hear that whistle like sound as he vanished.

"Where did he go?"

"Are we there yet?" Sasuke asked as he followed both Kiba and Akamaru traversing through the trees.

Kiba took a sniff of the air.

"Yeah we're closing in on his location and we're not too far either."

"Well it's about time."

Suddenly ahead of them landing upon a tree branch on a knee was that very familiar cloaked man that stopped the conclusion of Naruto and Sasuke's battle, and it was Master Zen to who Sasuke was unknown to the man's name or identity with the only thing that can be seen is the man's brown eyes. His sudden appearance caused Kiba, Akamaru, and Sasuke to stop in their tracks upon a branch of their own now about fifty yards away from the Cloaked Master Zen. The Cloaked Master Zen looking upon the three with his right forearm rested upon his right knee observing the three.

"You again!" Sasuke said in an annoyed tone of voice with narrowed eyes.

"Just who the hell is this guy and you know him?" Kiba asked.

"Not really since I never seen his face and as to how I meet him is none of your business."

"Now what did I tell you, Sasuke Uchiha, of what was to happen if either you or Naruto got into another supposed spar?" The Cloaked Master Zen asked.

"You said if we were ever to fight again."

"And you heading toward the boys direction doesn't imply such?"

"And what would make you think that?"

"Well for starters having an Inazuka with you with their clan being infamously known for their keen sense of smell, excellent trackers they are. I know alone that you would not be able to find him out here without some help and what better help then a member of the Inazuka Clan?"

"For starters you will be surprised to know that this wasn't my idea to begin with. I was just curious of Naruto's recent activities."

"And why would you be?"

"Kiba is the one that implies the possibility that Naruto is receiving training from someone, and that someone possibly being the Hokage himself."

"HA! HA! HA! The Third has no time to be taking students and even if he could like it or not he is not exactly in his prime to be doing such, but that doesn't mean that he can't put up a fight. Let me assure the both of you that Naruto is not receiving training from The Third."

"And how would you know that?"

"Well, Sasuke, I have to keep my eye on the both of you. I know how much the two of you want to settle things to find out for certain who is stronger."

"Or maybe because YOU are the one that is training him?"

"Even if I was or if I could I wouldn't have the time to take up a student for I am far too busy attending to my own duties to the village." The Cloaked Master Zen lied. "I am going to tell you once to turn around and leave or risk my word to the Third himself."

"I don't care who you are but I am not going to let you get in our way!" Kiba said aloud.

Kiba roared aloud leaping toward the Cloaked Master Zen who remained motion less.

"Kiba don't!" Sasuke yelled aloud.

Kiba descended upon Master Zen and without Akamaru's aid he performed his clan's signature move Fang over Fang shooting down upon the cloaked man. Master Zen simply but calmly stood up skipping to his right letting Kiba crash through the branch wrecking into the earth below as Master Zen said aloud.

"Ops!"

Akamaru immediately leaped down to Kiba's aid below who had his feet sticking up in the air, his legs twitching, and his entire upper portion of his body in the ground. Sasuke looked down upon Kiba pitying him as he said…

"Fool that was a child's mistake you just made."

"And will you make the same as him?" The Cloaked Master Zen asked now standing tall with his hands behind his back grabbing Sasuke's attention.

"I don't know who you are but one thing is for sure and that's your strong."

"Well I have lived and been around longer before your mother was even born son."

"I have a question for you."

"A question?"

"How did you stop my jutsu like that the other day?"

"With another juts, was that the answer you were hoping to hear?"

Truth be told it was not a technique he used but merely his Ki alone.

"But I didn't even see a hand seal so how was it possible?"

"There are jutsu in the world that doesn't require the use of hand seals. Take your clan's bloodline for instance being proficient in casting genjutsu with the mere glance into one's eyes."

"So you have a bloodline then?"

"I will not answer any more of your questions. Now will you take your friend and turn back forgetting that this never happened or am I going to have to report this to the Hokage?"

"It's too coincidental. Out of nowhere this guy appears again blocking my path? If he knew we were heading towards Naruto then why didn't he stop us a lot sooner before we got this close? SOMETHING is going on here and I can feel it."

"Well?"

"Fine we're leaving."

"Smart decision."

"Kiba I'm going back to the village!"

Kiba finally removed himself from the earth.

"What?"

"What a waste of my time." Sasuke said as he turned around taking off back toward the direction of the village.

"Hey wait!"

"I suggest you do the same as him or am I going to have to have a talk with your Clan Head?"

"You can't."

"Oh but I can, Inazuka, I report to the Hokage himself and through him he can have a strict conversation with your mother, and I am pretty sure you don't want to make her mad."

"Don't tell her please?!"

"Then I suggest you head back to the village and forget that this ever happened understand?"

"Whatever…"

"What?!"

"I mean yes sir!"

"That's a good boy now get out of here."

"Damn we were so close. Let's go Akamaru."

Akamaru gave out a bark before following Kiba jumping up into the trees following him back to the village.

"Well that was a close one."

Meanwhile Naruto continued his training in Ki Control with the assistance of two Shadow Clones and as he was continuing his training, Master Zen appeared landing upon the shore line no longer wearing his cloak around his form. He took note of how concentrated Naruto was in Ki Control and he just knew that his Ki Control was improving because it had to, and especially with this method. Naruto has leaned three things today with the fourth having yet to come. He had learned not only the Shadow Clone Jutsu but now he has learned and bettered his Chakra Control that could still be improved upon and now was bettering his control of Ki, and lastly he would have Naruto try again with the Kamehameha Wave to truly master it. Not bad right? Master Zen took a seat somewhere on the ground crossing his legs before closing his own eyes himself joining Naruto in meditation. Soon the sky reached its orange like color signaling the evening with some hours having past as Master Zen opened his eyes seeing Naruto still meditating, but even Naruto needed to rest from even this.

"That's enough!" Master Zen said aloud.

Naruto heard the command and questioned if should listen or not with Master Zen noticing this.

"You can stop now, Naruto, it's time."

Hearing Master Zen's reassurance he secedes his activity letting the water that was slowly spinning around the rock he was sitting upon drop back into the water, and Master Zen noticed the bead of sweat going down from Naruto brow.

"Want to try the Kamehameha again?"

"You know it!"

Soon both Naruto and Master Zen were back at the same location as before where Zen showed Naruto the Kamehameha Wave the first time.

"You know what is required. Go on and see the results for yourself."

Naruto gave Master Zen a nod who stepped aside to watch Naruto who steps into position.

"I can do this. I know I can!"

"Let's see how you do now."

Naruto got into the appropriate stance bringing cupped hands before him and begin to say aloud the incantations…

"Kaaaaaaaaaa-Meeeeeeeee-Haaaaaaaaaa-," Naruto's cupped hands came next to his right hip as a blue ball of Ki formed within "-Meeeeeeeeeee-," The Ki grows into a perfect sized and controlled ball of his Ki and he shoots his cupped hands forward as he said aloud "-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

The result? Well it was a perfect Kamehameha Wave that fired from the cupped palms of Naruto shooting over the rivers water parting it, and not making the wave's shoot really high in the air but still being none the less a sight to see. Naruto's beam dissipated before the beam even reaches the other side of the river with upon its disappearance in the middle of the river makes a small pop of air part waves in a circular formation, the water shooting up before falling back and settling in water. Master Zen only chuckled as Naruto was looking with a surprised expression ever present on his face.

"Did you know what that was, Naruto? That was control and none the less perfection. Now you have truly mastered the Kamehameha Wave."

"I really did it this time!" Naruto said aloud in excitement.

"Congratulations but I ask that you don't go spamming this technique every chance you get."

"Good idea I don't want to tire myself out before the battle even starts."

"Speaking of tire how do you feel before when you first performed this attack against Mizuki?"

"I don't feel as drained that's for sure."

"Like I said. That is the benefit of mastery over your own Ki but that doesn't mean you should stop improving upon Ki Control."

Naruto gave a nod taking his words seriously.

"You are going to need this after all with the man you have as your instructor."

"Kakashi Hatake?"

"That man is not one to be taken lightly, Naruto. He has been in wars and many battles, and he is one that has taken many lives. He may not look it to you but he is a powerful ninja so don't you dare underestimate him understand? What I taught you today were necessary if you want to SURVIVE against someone especially like Kakashi but that doesn't mean you should count the rest of your team out of the equation, you are NOT a one man army." Master Zen said wisely. "Not yet at least but someday in the future literally."

Naruto gave Master Zen a bow who did the same for Naruto and the two now stood before one another. At first they were quite before one another until both of them went into their individual stances ready to fight but this was more like spar in this sunset.

"Begin!" Master Zen said aloud.

The two proceeded to spar with Naruto throwing punches and kicks, Master Zen blocking, parrying, or leaping away in evasion before the two come to a stop in their actions as Master Zen said…

"Good. Now again!"

The two then continued in their spar with one another. Tomorrow Naruto was going to face a strong opponent possessing Ki or not, Kakashi Hatake was not one to ever be underestimated who was well known for looking underneath the underneath. Team 7's Survival Exercise begins tomorrow in which they would be judged to be ninja of the Leaf or not.
