I stared at him as he got up and walked over to the pallet he made on the floor and laid down. I wanted to show him what he just showed me but sleep overcame me and I was out before I could do anything.

Sasuke's point of view!
I awoke in the morning, sun shining into my face from the window that had been in the room, looking down at the floor and seen that Naruto was gone. I looked down and seen my clothes folded up and looked like they had just been cleaned. I got up and got dressed and walked out of the room to see if Naruto had been anywhere in the tiny apartment. I got out the door and looked around, I felt very uneasy, noticing Naruto was not there. I looked at the small table that was in the kitchen and seen a note and something to eat. I picked up the note and read it.
Dear Sasuke,
I didn't want to wake you, I cleaned your clothes last night and made you some breakfast this morning. I had to leave about dawn so I'm sorry that I had to leave early. I left a journal in my room for you to find that explains some of the feelings you might have, and hopefully answer any questions about what happened last night. If you see anyone please, don't be too rude to them they are there to help you.
I want you to know I love you and if in the event I never get to see you ever again. I want you to find someone else to love you like I do and make you happy, last night was all about you and showing you how much I loved you.

I had tears in my eyes, was he not planning to come back, after what he did last night . I walked out the door, looking back to see the empty sad apartment one last time. I was made, why would he do this to me, why would he leave after all of that? I walked towards the Hokage tower and watched as everyone smiled. It seemed as lots of people were celebrating something.
Sasuke: what are you guys celebrating?
Random Villager1: The fox is gone forever never to return to this village.
Sasuke: what do you mean by that?
Random villager 2: He was exiled from the village today, he was to leave before dawn.
I looked pissed, he told me he was going to see Gaara in Suna. I continued walking towards the Hokage's office and walked in.
Sasuke: What the hell did he do now?
Tsunade: What do you mean?
Sasuke: I have to hear from villagers that he was exiled from the village, he lied to me saying that he was going to Suna. Why the hell would he do that?
Tsunade: to protect you.
Sasuke: from what, himself?
Tsunade: I was asked not to say anything so I cannot tell you more than what I have, look I'm sorry that he is gone I wish I could have been able to stop this but it's out of my hands.
Sasuke: I wonder if he lied about loving me too.
Tsunade: I'm sure he did not lie about that after everything he has done for you. The council is to blame but there is nothing you can do, seeing as your punishment would have been worse if not for Naruto.
Sasuke: I did not ask him to do anything of the sort, why would he work so hard to reduce my punishment.
Tsunade: like you said he loves you.
I left not satisified with the answers I wanted more, so I went in search of the council. I found where they were rumored to stay and walked in demanding a meeting.
Sasuke: what were the terms of Naruto's exile?
Council member: terms were that he takes 3 times as much punishment that was supposed to be yours. Seeing as we were going to execute you, you should thank him for all the punishment he has taken. The exile will not be annulled at all so he must remain exiled for life. Naruto was also striken of his Ninja status and will never be a leaf ninja ever. Even if by chance he was able to live in the village he will no longer be a ninja.
Sasuke: please I beg you, let him come back, I will serve time, I will become someone's slave if I have to, just please bring back Naruto, I need him here beside me.
Council member: Im sorry but that is our decision.
Sasuke: Naruto has done everything he could to protect this village from danger yet you treat him like he doesn't deserve shit. I have never seen anyone so devoted to their village like he is.
Council member: fine but he must be sent to Konoha prison to serve 2 years of imprisonment and 3 years of public tie down.
Sasuke: prison is not the problem but the public tie down would be suicide though
Council member: that is your choices, he is either here with that said punishment or he is exiled your choice Uchiha.
Sasuke: I accept the terms but what is to happen with me?
Council member: you will be right beside him taking what ever punishment he receives.
Sasuke: I understand.
I left to find the Hokage to let her know of the changes to the terms I just accepted. I went in to see the Hokage and found that she was fast asleep at her desk.
Sasuke: Hokage-sama
Tsunade: what, what's going on, why are you here?
Sasuke: I'm bringing him back
Tsunade: you got them to change their minds?
Sasuke: yes, the terms are harsh though but he will not fully be alone with them.
Tsunade: do I want to know?
Sasuke: they said he gets 2 years of imprisonment and 3 years of public humiliation by being tied to the post in the middle of town.
Tsunade: and you?
Sasuke: I get the public humiliation part right along with him, they said what ever he endures I have to as well
Tsunade: I will have 2 anbu with you for your search for Naruto, find him and return at once, bring him home safely please.
Sasuke: I will thank you
I left with 2 anbu in toe, we made it to the gate and left in search of our blonde haired friend. The forest around Konoha was deep and hard to look through but I was determined as ever, knowing he would have done the same thing. There was no telling how far he made it, so we had to track on knowing that the blonde could be anywhere around here. I looked hard to see any signs of the blonde but none were visible, I was getting worried as to what could have happened to him.
We ran into a camp site that could possibly be Naruto but there was no one in the tent that was put up. I was really hopping it was him. We waited by the persons tent to see when they returned. While waiting I fell asleep and when I awake the anbu told me that no one had appeared. I was even more worried seeing as it was night fall now.
Naruto's point of view!
I noticed someone was following me, so I set up camp and waited for them to approach the tent. I seen that it was Sasuke with2 anbu, what were they looking for? I hid watching as Sasuke fell asleep and the 2 anbu continued to watch. When Sasuke woke up it was night fall. I finally decided to come out to see what Sasuke wanted.
Naruto: Why are you searching for me Teme?
Sasuke: Finally Naruto I have been searching for you everywhere.
Naruto: why are you here?
Sasuke: You can come home, I made a deal with the council, and they say I can bring you back.
Naruto: what is the punishment?
Sasuke: 2 years of imprisonment and 3 years public humiliation.
Naruto: and for you?
Sasuke: 3 years of public humiliation
Naruto: and you expect me to go back with that type of punishment, are you nuts?
Sasuke: I will be there with you, it's the only way.
Naruto: did you consider it would be like suicide for me?
Sasuke: Yes but it's the only way, please I will do anything you want me to, and you know I am not one to beg for anything, so please come back with me.
