IMPORTANT A/N: I just realized I made a massive mistake in my planning, some of the writing, and the info of this story. I have been planning to use events from New Moon, thinking that was the time frame I was writing for... until I reread my summary... Total mess up on my part and I am just now realizing it.

*epic facepalm*

*bashes head against wall*

So here is how this will work. I will keep writing as I have planned, New Moon and Eclipse story lines will be shoved into Junior year rather than spread further out like it is in the books, and I shall claim that it was planned all along so that I could enjoy the liberties of fanfiction. Believable, right? ...yeah, I didn't think so...

*sigh*

Oh the shame... this shall be interesting. As of right now, I am not caring much about timeline now, as you can tell, we will say that we are to September, maybe early October in the school year, and then pick up the Eclipse plot during the second half of the school year, possibly into the sumer, but it will have to be different yeah? So that should be fun.

*nervous smile*

I sincerely apologize and hope that you all will not hold it against me too much.

Alice POV

Harry laughs from beside me, "Sorry, guess I forgot to tell you about apparating. It's a form of magical transportation. Not the greatest feeling in the world, but I've been researching about what it is that makes it feel so unpleasant, still have a little ways to go on fixing it. Anyways, lets go reassure the family, shall we?" He asks, offering his arm before stepping towards the front door after I loop my arm through his. I giggle at his antics. He holds open the door and bows me in, "Such a gentleman." I mockingly say as I pass through the door. He follows me in and shuts the door before once again offering his arm, "Of course, a beautiful young lady like you deserves such a high level of treatment. Anything less would be unworthy of you." He answers with false pomposity. I giggle more, enjoying the light buzz, which I notice happily this time, that still flows through my body as we touch.

We turn the corner and walk to the kitchen where I hear my family is gathered. Harry complimenting the house as he walks and I hear Esme sigh happily as the others snicker softly at her response. We clear the doorway and Emmett bursts with laughter at Harry and I. Edward's eyebrows crook slightly but he mostly just watches with a small smile. Rosalie's face beams at me, well what would be considered beaming for her when she is around people she doesn't know or trust. Esme is openly beaming, still apparently happy about the compliments to the house that she overheard from Harry but I can tell that there is joy in her eyes for another reason.

I smirk slightly, figuring he knew we could have heard him whisper from anywhere in the house, minus the soundproofed room that Emmett and Rose stay in at least. Edward half chuckles though curiosity flickers across his face. Carlisle was the only one who kept a confused look on his face. I glance at Harry and he has a calm, easy smile on his face, "You all might as well make yourselves comfortable, if you need to that is, this will take a little while unless you want Alice to speed talk you through everything. I will promise that I mean no harm to you or your family, I have known mostly what you are for the past three weeks though Alice has yet to explain the difference I noticed between most vampires I know and your family. I'm honored to be around beings who exhibit such great self-control everyday, going to school around what most would consider your food source." He offers to Carlisle with a slight bow.

Carlisle is the one to now quirk his eyebrow but nods in acceptance. He motions us to the dining room table and we all sit, more out of forced habit than necessity. Carlisle motions for Harry to begin explaining and so he begins to tell his background once more.

It doesn't take as long to finish this time since I was able to explain things that didn't make sense when I first heard it either and Harry answered any questions that were asked, though I could tell he wanted to have some of his own answered. It only took an hour and a half or so to run back through most of his story, we left the touchier subjects alone for now and my family turned to Harry for any questions he had. Within the next thirty minutes, Harry confirmed most of his suspicions and wonderings about us, including our diet, and was very satisfied as he smiled and leaned back in a visual sign of relaxation.

I glanced over at the clock thinking that we would probably only had a few more hours before school started and that Harry needed to get some sleep if he wanted to be able to function. Edward had let me hang out with Bella enough to remember, part of the time at least, that these fragile humans needed to get more than a few hours of sleep. As I read the clock, my jaw dropped. Now, I won't say that Vampires have the best grasp on time. Not sleeping and living for forever mostly kills your internal clock, and while time can seem to fly by or drag at snails pace sometimes, I don't think it is possible for it to only be eleven in the evening right now. I turn to look at Harry with a question stewing in my eyes.

Harry had apparently followed my gaze as he smiled sheepishly, "I knew we had school in the morning and while you all may not need sleep, I do need some so I cast a time dislocation charm on this room when we got settled in." He waved his hand and removed the spell. The rest of the family looked at the clock and I got to watch as shock registered on their faces.

"That's quite impressive, Harry. Could you cast it so that one person could use it while not affecting those around them? That would be extremely useful in surgery situations." Carlisle mused as he leaned forward in thought.

"I don't know if it has been done before or if its even possible but I will check into it. There are a few other ideas I'd like to get fleshed out though on top of that. I'll look into it for you though, as soon as I get the chance." Harry offer happily. I leaned back in the dinning room chair and smiled contentedly while watching the reaction from my family as they took in all of the new information.

Carlisle asked a few more questions that I hadn't thought of, but aside from that they all seemed satisfied with what Harry had told us. Harry even allowed Edward inside his shields to support his story. Something apparently passed between the two during it though because Edward nodded randomly and Harry smiled. I figured Harry was offering to try testing Edward's ability a bit more extensively.

Harry stood shortly after that with a smile still on his face, "Thank you all for letting me come over on such short notice. I'm glad we have gotten all of this worked out; I was hoping we could get this figured out before you came and attacked me. If Alice had only come inside sooner and asked what was going on we could have truly met each other much sooner. By the way Alice, I know that you don't need to get comfortable physically, but if you would like a break from the thirst, you're welcome to come in to the house." He looks over at me and winks while smiles grow on the faces of my whole family, they had known I was going somewhere at night, but they hadn't asked about it too much. Edward only caught bits and pieces here and there but he probably could have made a close guess at it. I duck my head in embarrassment.

Edward bursts out laughing a moment later and Harry chuckles. My family and I turn to look at the two of them and Edward shakes his head, "Vampires can't blush." Edward stated and the family looked over at Harry. Harry blushes lightly, but shakes his head also, muttering about knowing that and something about forgetting to put his shields back in place.

After a few moments, the blush fades and Harry smiles and looks across my family, "That same offer goes for you all. I don't know what all you guys do in the evenings, but if you just want to get away from the thirst, you're welcome to come by the house whenever. Don't make too much noise, because I am usually a light sleeper and I don't wake in the friendliest manner when startled, but you're welcome to come in and sit for a while. I leave the back door unlocked usually so you're welcome to come through there." The family smiles back at him and give a few nods.

We all say our goodbyes to each other and he makes a turning motion before disappearing in an instant without a single noise. My throat slowly begins to start burning again and while I miss the escape from the thirst he brings with him, I mostly just miss him being around. I glance around at my family and see the majority of them looking at me with mischief in their eyes. Emmett looks like Christmas came early this year and Esme seems like she is about to burst with happiness. I wave quickly before turning to sprint out of the house. I hear Emmett yell after me as I clear the river, "Say hey to your boyfriend, when you get over to his house again sis! And make sure he knows he can come back over whenever! And that I want all the details in second peri—Ow! Rose, was that needed? I was just…" I chuckle as his voice fades out the further away I run. I am so thankful for my sister, Rosalie.

Emmett was going to make my life extremely tough for me over the next couple of weeks, but as I thought about our most recent visitor to our home, I decided I could live with that fact. I turn to race towards the large forested area north of Forks to hunt and just get out for a bit, maybe I'd run up to Alaska tonight and say hello to the Denali clan before school tomorrow.

I took down a couple deer before just sitting down in the moss and then laying back, listening as the birds slowly begin to start singing again, hearing different smaller animals come back out into the open after being scared in by me, a predator. I stay completely still, looking at the stars that I can see through the treetops, enjoying the peace of nature. I close my eyes and rest, not sleeping or trying to, but simply just being for a moment. Unneeded breaths move in and out of my body bringing me comfort and I allow myself to be lost in the repetitive, habitual action.

After an indeterminable amount of time, I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I pull it out of my pocket and check my screen. It was a text from Esme asking if rain would be coming in anytime over the next week, she had a list of a few things she wanted to take care of outdoors and she didn't want the projects to be interrupted by rain. I smile as I send a reply; Esme always seemed to have more projects to complete than I could even think of. She was constantly working and reworking things around the house to make it look better.

It was fun watching her look over the house and the different areas of our yard. You could practically see the gears working in her head as she plans ways to upgrade and add small changes that would make major differences in how good the place looked. I had come to see Carlisle and Esme as my true parents, partially because they were the only parental figures I had even known, but mostly it was just because they embodied everything that I would want a parent to be to me.

I looked at the clock on my phone after I finished the text and sighed, 'no trip to the Denali tonight, I'd make it there and have to turn right back around…too bad Harry isn't up and able to give me a ride…' I chuckle and my mind turns to focus on the newest member of our small community and even smaller circle of friends who really know who and what we, the Cullens, are. I stand and decide to make my way back to the house even though I dread to think of what kind of comments Emmett could have come up with by now. I had apparently lost track of time, three hours had passed since I left the house and it only took a short time to run out to where I was hunting.

I race back to the house and hear Edward playing the piano with Rose humming softly. The clicking sounds of an Xbox controller being used reassures me that Emmett will probably be too distracted for now to give me a hard time. I step through the door leading into the kitchen and walk into the living room area. Rose smiles over at me as she sees me walk in and gives a half wave but continues humming. Edward looks partially over his shoulder and smiles in greeting also but doesn't react past that. Rose because she knows what Emmett would say, Edward because he knows that even better, but also because he knows I don't want to be teased about it right now.

I move quietly over to where the two of them are sitting and sit Indian-style on the floor, Emmett continues playing as he is too engrossed in the race on his game to notice my entrance. I look ahead and see that I'm safe to sit here for a while without him harassing me. 'Actually, I'm clear till school time, and he'll be rushing around too much trying to get ready to give me a hard time.' I smile in gratitude at my gift. I lean back against the wall and close my eyes, letting the music flow over me.

For the next four hours, I lose myself in the music, and my thoughts. Harry, his past and everything else that I learned about him was sitting at the forefront of my mind. Thinking back through most of what he had told the family, though I kept what he had only told me locked away since I was around Edward. That was the main topic of thought I stayed on until it was time to get ready for school the next day.

I glanced ahead as I moved off towards my room to change and grab my school bag. It seemed like it would be a pretty normal day, but Harry probably hadn't fully woken up yet and made decisions for the day. Something I had come to expect was that things change randomly and in ways you wouldn't expect when you add Harry to the mix of things. Adopting a wait-and-see attitude for the day, I moved back down to the kitchen, dressed and ready for school.

Thankfully, though slightly disappointingly, the next few weeks passed normally, normally at least for a vampire family living around humans and a new magical friend. Harry, and Bella had become normal visitors around our house, Bella coming over to spend time with Edward when he didn't go to visit her, and Harry made the trip over at least once a week to cook with Esme and just give us all a short reprieve from the thirst. My visions were becoming more concrete of Bella being a vampire as we drew closer to Christmas time.

The more time I spent around Harry, the more I enjoyed his presence. Most of the nights that he didn't come over, I would visit him at his house. We would sit up and talk late into the night, or for many few hours if Harry thought to turn on his time dilapidation charm.

We had just finished our day at school and I was already feeling slightly bored around the house. It was a Friday afternoon, the weekend of Bella's birthday party, so I decided I would go hang out at his house for the rest of they day before going back home to plan the set up for her party at our house on Sunday evening. I had just walked up to find him leaving the house with a strange looking broom slung over his shoulder though the handle seemed to be slightly twisted and the sticks on the bottom over it looked worthless for actual cleaning.

His eyes lit up when he saw me and smiled widely as he walked over in my direction. "I was actually about to swing by your house. I'm planning to make a run to the nearest magical hub to pick up a few things I can't make for myself. Felt like making a trip of it though so I was going to fly, stay there tonight and come back tomorrow evening. I didn't want you to stop by and not find me here and freak out or anything though. I feel like I should start paying your parents rent with as often as I am over at you guy's house." He said with a chuckle though he calmed down shortly after, "I have to tell you, and I'll mention it to your parents later, but I feel like I've always been a part of your family. It's been a wonderful experience, seeing how family works, even if the version of family you all show is probably a little different than most humans." Unexpectedly he leans over and gives me a hug, "Thanks for making me feel so welcome."

I hug him back after my mind reengages. He can have some weird mood swings every once in a while, not often, but he can go from mostly reserved to initiating a hug with little warning; even for someone who can see the future like me. "You're more than welcome Harry. I know you coming over to cook with Esme has made her day more than once and you helping us feel normal…it's nice to experience it."

A mischievous glint flares through his eyes, "Ahhh, I see, you all are just using me. I see how it is." He says with what I can tell is faked sadness and I decide to play along.

"Tsk, you found us out. Can't believe that you saw through us being nice to see why we really like you. We can go back to pretending that you're actually cool enough to hang out with us, but only if you don't lose your powers. Ooh, and if you change into Emmett and let us take some really embarrassing pictures of him for blackmail." I say with a sly smile.

Harry's face had stayed mostly clear, but the idea of taking pictures as Emmett was too good of a mental picture to not laugh at. He shakes his head while looking at me. His eyes hold something, but I can't quite tell what the look is before he blinks and it's gone. He brings the broom down off of his shoulder, "You know what, Alice? Do you have anything going on this weekend?" He asks randomly, trust me, I know it was random.

"Umm, no, I just went hunting last night since someone didn't come over and didn't tell me to not expect them over. By the time I realized you weren't planning on coming over it was much too late to get out without Emmett giving me a hard time about it. Bella's birthday party is on Sunday, but that is the main thing I know of. However, I was bored at home and was going to bug you to entertain me, but it sounds like that isn't going to work either now." I say pouting lightly.

Harry laughed as his slipped his arm around my shoulders and started walking me towards the tree line. Relying on his guidance I try to take a quick peak ahead to see what he wanted to ask me about but he gives me a light shake, "Nuh uh, don't look ahead, besides, if you would use common sense and think rather than trying to cheat with your ability, you would probably have a good idea of what I am going to ask you. However!" He raises a pointed finger in the air, "Since you were going to try to cheat, I have to know; has Emmett ever stopped giving you a hard time since Halloween when you—"

"Shut it, and yes, just last week. Rose apparently had gotten tired of hearing him belt it out every time he saw me come into the room. Don't bring it up or I will find a good reason to…to…" I racked my brain for anything that would be considered punishment to him if he brought it up. An idea sprung into my head. "I will have a very enlightening conversation with Emmett about some of your…plans?" I say with a slight leading tone to my voice and an openly devious grin on my face. He picks up on it immediately and makes a signal with his hand of zipping his lips, locking them and then throwing away the key. He hadn't mentioned the extent of his metamorphmagus talents to the rest of the family, which would kill any future pranks he could use it in against Emmett. I give a humored smile at him before waving him on to explain the reason he asked about my weekend plans.

"Oh right, I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to see what the wizarding world looks like in America. I went to the closest magical area to Forks and it was really nice, but I need to go back to pick up a few more things. As I said, I wanted to make a trip of it so instead of apparating straight there, so I was planning on flying. You'd be welcome to come along for the ride if you would like to."

We were now a good ways through the trees and I smirked to myself as an idea formed in my head, "Sure, but I need to get parental permission to go for an extended period of time with a young man by myself. You would need to talk to my parents to get their okay for it and make sure they don't think it is 'improper'. Let's go talk to them now!" And I quickly grab his arm, sling him over my shoulder and race home. We were already halfway to the house from where we started when he finally registered what was happening and gave a shout of surprise. Giggling madly I speed up a little more and then slid to a halt at the bottom of the porch steps and let him drop lightly, but unceremoniously, to the ground.

Without hardly any pause, I saunter into the house, glancing back just as I reached the door to find him still sprawled out on the ground, his heart beat slowly returning to normal. I laugh as I leave the door open and walk up to my room to grab a few items for the weekend trip. I packed a camera, some money so that I could do some shopping while I was there so I didn't have to pack any clothes, and a few other miscellaneous things for 'just in case' since I wasn't really sure what all this trip would entail.

I packed them into an easy to carry bag and silently made my way back downstairs where I could hear Harry and my parents talking. I stopped where Emmett and Rose were sitting at the bottom of the stairs and listened along with them, after a few moments though I could only hear complete gibberish coming from Harry. I look at Emmett and Rose but they haven't reacted to it at all. Emmett gets a smile on his face like he usually does when he hears something good for a prank and looks at me mischievously. He whispers something to me but his words sound like gibberish also. My brows furrow even more as I listen to him. His smirk grows wider as he slowly says something else and then Rose swings her hand out and slaps the back of his head. I look at her in confusion and she looks back at me expectantly for some reason. I motion to me ears and say, "I can't understand what you're saying."

Rose looks at me with wide eyes for a moment and I feel more than hear Emmett's booming laugh rumbling from in front of her, Rose gets over her shock and joins in with the laughter also, glancing back at the kitchen.

"Why are you guys laughing at me?" I demand and that sets Emmett off and he laughs harder as Rose rolls to the side and leans onto Emmett's back, clutching at her stomach, letting peals of laughter out alongside her husband. I hear Carlisle and Esme in the kitchen laughing also. I look over towards the door leading into the kitchen and see the two of them off to the side of the door on this side of the wall with Harry standing in the doorway with a wide smile on his face once more.

"What is going on?" I half-whine and then notice the innocent look on Harry's face as he laughs softly, "Harry, did you do something to me?" His hand twitches slightly and something warm bubbles over me for a second. I shoot a glare at him. "Sorry Alice, I couldn't quite understand you." He says with a small grin, watching me closely.

"I said what is wrong with me, did you do something to me?" I say louder. Carlisle and Esme's smirks grow wider and I can see Carlisle trying to contain his laughter. Emmett apparently doesn't have the same control though as he and Rose are now both lying across the stairs laughing. My confusion slowly turns into frustration at not knowing what is going on. Harry moves over next to me, smiling, and wraps an arm around me again and whispers lightly into my ear that I don't think my family would even be able to hear it from where they were.

"They are each hearing the last thing they would expect you to say; something random and outrageous. Somewhat like the gibberish you were hearing from them, except…you're actually making sense with the sentences you say. The first thing I heard was something along the lines of 'Never play leap frog with a unicorn'. So imagine the others are hearing something…similar." He explains with a wide smile.

A giggle escapes my lips as I look at him, "Unicorns? Did you come up with the things they're hearing?" I ask. He shakes his head at me, "Nope, that's all being done by their own mind. Sorry that you were hearing gibberish, but I had to discuss a couple things that I didn't want you to hear yet. And no, I won't let you see it ahead of time, I know how your gift works and," He says smiling evilly at me, "I know just how to exploit it. So don't bother looking."

I look at him dubiously before deciding to try it anyways. The only thing I saw was what Emmett and Rose would be doing later that night. Mortified I return to the present and see Harry grinning at me though he quickly adopts a look of curiosity, "Did you see me?" He asks innocently. Still horrified at what I saw I shake my head. He smirks at me, "Good, glad I was able to do the spell right. I'll drop it when I take care of everything, but until then, you won't be able to look at myself or see what my plans are, which means, you won't see what is coming up. Oh, and if I did it right, I should be able to keep you from seeing even if you try to see what you will be doing this weekend. Don't worry though; it won't affect any of your other visions. So, anyways… were Emmett and Rose enjoying their gift for this evening." My horror came back full force and I nodded, trying to banish the images from my head. I mean, really, Emmett getting a manicure and pedicure with Rose? Why would Rose do that to herself and not invite me along?

Harry chuckled, "I knew Emmett was a big softy at heart, but I never really expected Rose to be one to invite him along and that he would enjoy it. Weird isn't it? So, no more trying to look ahead, okay? You'll get to be back soon enough to save Rose from having to take Emmett shopping, I promise."

I scowl at him. I hate flying blind when everyone else knows. What is the point of having a gift if you can't use it? Stupid wizards. Harry throws me a winning smile before turning to the family and waving goodbye to them and he moves back outside. I look at the family and they smile knowingly at me. I hate being the one left out; I'm always the one in the know with these kinds of things. I let out a huff, frustrated, and then turn to follow Harry out. My mind was of two opinions, on one hand, I hate surprises when I don't know about them, on the other hand, it is nice to not know; the building of suspense and anticipation is refreshing. Though I hate not knowing when everyone else does.

I step outside and see Harry straddling the broom already. There is room behind him so I mimic his pose and sit behind him, wrapping my arms around his midsection. He looks back over his shoulder with a smirk and tells me to hang on. I grunt at him, still mostly upset that I don't know though it is giving away to some excitement, and squeeze a little harder. He gives a breathy laugh at me and kicks off from the ground.

A soft gasp escapes my lips as I take in the feeling. Sure, I can run extremely fast and jump really high, but the feeling of being suspended in the air without my input and only a small piece of wood holding me up, it was a little scary. I wouldn't get hurt if I fell, but still, so weird. He once again tells me to hang on and then he leans forward some on the broom and we move forward, picking up speed quickly.

"This isn't so bad. It's kind of like a convertible, though it doesn't seem to go as fast." I say into his ear. I feel shakes go through his body and hear his laughter. He leans a little farther forward on the broom and we rocket off with dives, turns, spins, loops, rolls, all flowing together smoothly. My grip increases slightly, at the suddenness of it, but I slowly relax as I fall into the rhythm of his flying. Better than driving a convertible, I concede to myself. Experiencing G's in an entirely new way, I let out a whoop of excitement. My family has never been able to experience a roller coaster before. Usually the only weather we can go out in is the weather that parks shut down for so I figured this was the closest I would ever get.

Apparently my whooping spurred Harry on as he increased the speed even more and did crazier maneuvers. I laugh wildly as we spin dip, and just flat out fly over the treetops. He slows down after a few minutes, breathing hard but he looks over his shoulder at me and I can see that there is a huge smile spreading across his face. "I haven't flown that hard for years. That was amazing, glad you took my advice and held on though. You might not get hurt, but I wouldn't want to lose you because of the flying." I squeeze him again and lean onto his back slightly, enjoying the decent speed and the feeling of the air whipping around us. Had I not been a vampire, my heart would be pounding just like I can feel and hear Harry's is, the adrenaline rush that was still dying down in my own system, or is that a venom rush now?

Sure, we like driving fast in cars, but that is because if we don't it feels like we are moving too slow. There is some enjoyment from it, but that, the flying Harry had just done, was more of an exciting rush than I have had for a while. It wasn't even so much that we were going faster than we could run or drive, but the freedom that seemed to permeate the air around us during those dips, rolls, and turns...simply unexplainable. I take a deep breath in and release it slowly. There was just something about being with Harry that made me feel…alive.

A/N: :) I've gotten the most reviews out of this one over the past couple weeks, so I figured I could drop another chapter for you all. TTADR shouldn't be too far behind this one if you are following both stories, if not, then I hope you enjoy this installment and not worry about the rest.

Still hasn't been abandoned, and I still have quite a few ideas that will slowly start pulling this away from the normal cannon. Have a small issue that I have run across that I need to get figured out, but I have a seed of an idea that just needs some TLC and sunlight to see if it will grow into anything useable for the story. Since this story is set in New Moon's events, I am struggling to decide if Edward still leaves, and if so, how I can get that to happen. It will be at Bella's birthday party still if it happens, but since I don't have a Jasper in this story, I can't really decide which Cullen would attack her if I tried to play it out the same way. Any input would be happily welcomed, it is still probably about two or three chapters away from happening since I have a few other things planned in between now and that event.

As always, thanks for reading, following, favoriting and reviewing. You guys rock! :D
