A/N: So I never meant for this story to be more than a one-shot of the Doctor letting his feelings come to light. I have sort of written myself into a corner with this crazy story and my solution/ending has a ton of holes. I am so sorry for this. I also somehow ended up with two Doctors, plus twelve. lol. Anyway. Here it is :)

"What in the bloody hell is going on?" Rose shouted. Both Doctors turned to stare at her - one from the doorway; one from above her precarious position.

The 'naked' Doctor scrambled off, wrapping the blanket around himself and leaving her with the sheet. Rose promptly scooted off the side of the bed, pulling the thin sheet along with her.

"Well, who is he?!" The Doctor in the doorway yelled and pointed at the one in the comforter.

"He's the Doctor!" Rose said at the same time the naked Doctor said, "I'm the Doctor!" Everyone looked around at each other and gaped.

"You can't be the Doctor, I'm the Doctor." The fully-clothed Doctor explained with more irritation now than anger. The conversation going around in circles.

"Wait a minute now, let's get this sorted out…" Rose began and was met with equally blank stares from both. "There is a way to prove this right? Like a blood test or something?"

"Not if he's a clone." The naked Doctor explained, to which the other supplied, "Weellll….. maybe you're the clone." He rebuked childishly.

"Doctors, please. The Tardis has obviously not distinguished either of you as something terrible so let's, for now, go with the assumption that you're both you." Both men gave her dubious stares and she could feel the arguments ready to tumble out of their twin mouths.

"C'mon now, be civil with each other." She gritted through her teeth.

"Civil!?" Fully-clothed Doctor shrieked, "he was about to have sex with you - the evil, traitorous, clone!"

"He's you!" Rose screamed - totally out of her wits now. "Now," She began roughly, "I'm going to go get dressed, you two are going to try and not kill each other and then we are going to sit down and figure all this out."

Rose stomped out of the room, leaving the two staring at her back. Once in the relative peace of her own room she finally let out a long exhale, feeling her shoulders relax from the drama. This definitely can't be good, she thought tiredly. The sexual tension dissipated rather quickly and a new type of tension fueled the tension for her muscles.

She tugged on a pair of comfy cotton pants and an old hoodie. She made sure to fix her hair so it didn't look so mussed from her almost roll in the sheets. God, they'd been soooo close! She was certain they were both the real Doctor; had to be clones. They each had the same memories and the Tardis recognized them both. Rose was more concerned with the bigger question - the one they hadn't stumbled upon yet - what the hell was she going to do with two of them!? It was hard enough being with one. She loved the Doctor with all her heart - but there was no denying he was a handful!

She braced herself and went back out into the hallway. She could hear them bickering from the console room and she rolled her eyes and threw her head back - this is going to be a long, long day.

When she stepped into the room, they were both facing off one another arguing about who was who. Geez, how could they still be going over this? Seemed pretty straightforward to her.

"Hello, Doctors!" She said brightly to dispel some of the tension. It didn't work as she'd planned. They both turned and glared at her.

"Hey, don't give me that look you two - you're the ones squablin' at each other!" She rebuked offhandedly.

She made her way to the jump seat and hoisted herself up on with a loud thump. She crossed her legs purposefully and folded her hands in her lap as though she were about to negotiate a million dollar business deal. They both levelled her with the same impatient gaze.

She looked between the two of them and finally settled her blue eyes on the newest addition. "So what do you remember?" She asked.

The Doctor, version number two, turned to look at the man to his left before returning his eyes over to Rose. "I woke up outside your mum's flat. Down the front by the stairs. The last thing I remember before that was the hallway going dark and then everything turning fuzzy." Both Rose and the Doctor who'd been in bed with her turned to look at each other cautiously.

She had a moment to remember how she'd found him - being sent to the same room, him miraculously having his sonic screwdriver still, his initial harshness towards the situation. The longer they stared at each other, the more she could tell his thoughts were mirroring her own. There was an unease about the way he seemed to shrink back into himself, as though he could feel the taint that he might not be himself.

She moved off the seat to stand before him, her smaller hands moving to his shoulders in an attempt to push them straight again, instead he leaned into her touch. The second Doctor watched her every move like a hawk, but he kept silent through the exchange.

"Doctor…" She spoke softly. "You are you. I know it. I would know you anywhere." She continued gripping his shoulders tight, feeling the quiver that moved through his body.

"The way you found me… maybe. Maybe he's right." He replied, canting his head to the other man.

"Well one of you is obviously not the original but that doesn't make you any less fantastic and amazing." She smiled warmly, looking at both of them.

"What I am more worried about is what this means. We got rid of the building, right? But the people who created all this are still out there somewhere and I got this nagging suspicion that we followed their plans exactly."

The Doctor to her left dragged a hand through his chaotic hair, throwing it further into disarray, and frowned. "You're right. Something about all this is very fishy… very, very fishy." He mused. The second Doctor hummed his agreement, hands moving to the insides of his pockets as his feet began a short pace in a half circle around the console.

The three of them settled into a thought pattern filled with silent expressions that flowed between enlightenment and then disappointment, discovery and let-down. There was simply no reasonable explanation. Rose's frustration had her swinging her legs over the jump seat, her sneakers thudding against the metal in a repetitious uneven pattern.

"Rose…" Doctor number one gritted her name as he turned to glare at her legs that had stopped mid-swing. She smiled sheepishly and when she turned to see her second man, he was grinning widely at her.

".. But what would they have to gain?" The Doctor pacing on her right mused aloud, a half train of thought switching into voice.

"The Tardis!" Rose exclaimed suddenly, her hand flying to cover her mouth in shock. She lept off the seat turning from their bewildered expressions.

She was running fast down the hall before they could stop her. It was then that her feet slid on the smooth surface at the sight as she rounded the curved corner of the ship. Marching towards her were a dozen Doctor replica's - no longer unfocused and wild but determined. No longer locked safely in one of the Tardis' many rooms. She squawked in surprise and rounded on her heel. She made it halfway back when she hurtled into the two men running towards her.

"Stupid! So stupid! All my fault." She blabbered. It had been HER choice to being them all back here. God, she was such an idiot!

Her two men regarded her with widened eyes, a twin vision of panic. As he'd done the very first time - both grabbed one of her hands in theirs and whispered urgently, "run!" as they tugged her arm forcibly and they dashed back to the console room.

Once inside, the first Doctor rushed to the engine and slammed down a lever, causing a door at the edge of the room to slam shut. The room cast into a strange silence - waiting to erupt with noise.

"I didn't know." She pleaded in her own defense.

"It's okay, Rose. You couldn't have known. Its just…" One Doctor began hedgingly, "how did the Tardis not see it?" The second Doctor finished for him and they each shared a heavy look.

"How did they get out of the room?" She ventured quietly, not wanting to draw more attention to herself, especially since this whole thing was all her fault.

"They must have our memories. But… that begs the question. If they are here — why are there two of us?" Suspicions from before crept over all of them again.

"What? You're saying that one of you is like… a sleeper agent or something?" Rose asked in disbelief met with shoulder shrugs that were much too casual than what the situation called for.

"Oh god." She groaned desperately, her head dropped down into her hands.

"Wait!" Doctor one practically jumped in the air, "Aspartic acid racemization!" He shouts and looks expectantly to both her and Doctor number two.

"Umm… am I supposed to understand that?" Rose asked watching the calculating lift of the second Doctor's eyebrows.

"Oh I'm brilliant!" Hands clapped together as he fixed a glinting look towards his clone.

"You bet we are!" is the returned sentiment.

"Uhh.. Hello?" Rose's words displayed her sudden irritation, "if the two of you are done flirting with each other, mind telling me what the bloody hell acid has to do with any of this?"

"Well, we can use aspartic acid racemization - a cell dating method - to at least find out who's who. That's a start, then we can have the Tardis run a scan of our brains - which may or may not show anything useful but it's something."

"Alright, let's get going then." Rose said, marching forward without further ado.

"We'll use the Tardis to block them in for now, they'll obviously get through eventually but it should give us enough time. I'll also shut down the controls, but Rose, you are the only constant here so you need to chose a password that will allow the engine to work again. I don't trust it with either of us." Doctor two explained, gesturing between him and his twin. Rose approached the console and blinked at the letters she was supposed to be compiling into a password.

"It's in Gallifreyen…" Rose complained, her stare bewildered as she tried to make sense of the vaguely familiar circular patterns.

"Well then put in random keys and remember which ones you pressed." Doctor the second suggested. She shrugged her agreement, and squinted her eyes in focus as her forefinger tracked a pattern across the keyboard that she madly hoped she'd be able to remember.

When she finished the three made their way down a newly displayed doorway offered by the ship, they quickly headed to the nearest open door which gave them access to the Doctor's lab.

The two Doctors began speaking in nerd science talk which left Rose with precisely nothing else to do except play around with some metal device she'd found on a shelf. She really didn't want to know what it's purpose was. It looked like a torture device as the turned it over in her hands.

They'd only been in the room not ten minutes when a series of overheard tones, four in succession, bleeped out into the air. Both Doctors snapped their gaze towards a grated speaker above the door, followed by giving each other matching looks of startled edging panic.

"I take it that's not good, yeah?" Rose interrupted their gaping staring contest.

"Doctor," The clinical woman's voice droned into the room. "Are you enjoying my creations?" Her voice is mature and genuine with the curiosity of the request.

"What do you want?" Doctor one asked in a sharp voice.

"We need the Tardis, Doctor. The technology you hold is too great for one man. The earth needs this ship for its protection and the assurance of its future."

"Who do you work for?" Rose chirped in. She couldn't believe the British government had orchestrated something as bold as this, or as wrong as this.

"A private entity that has greater interest in this planet than even you, Doctor." The woman replied.

"You'll never get the Tardis. She won't allow it." The second Doctor moved towards the speaker, the look of fierce protection hardening his features into crisp lines. Rose smirked - not his baby, she thought fondly. These fools were out of their mind attempting to secure the Tardis away from the Doctor, and not just one but —

"Why did you make the second Doctor?" Rose blurted hastily. Her thoughts catching up to her, igniting her worry as she observed cautiously the two men in front of her. The first Doctor, the one she nearly slept with hid his eyes from her guiltily. She could see the terror written across the widened eyes and the slant of his brows.

"That was a mistake. The Doctor himself caused that one blunder and we were left having to make repairs, change memories, etc… and then the girl came back just as we'd predicted. Instead of giving her the original Doctor, we lead her to the clone. We knew the two of you would collect the experiments from room 114 for either analysis or what have you."

"What about me?" Asked her original Doctor, glancing over to his clone. "Couldn't keep me under wraps, could ya?" The Doctor smirked confidently, leaning towards the speakers. "You know, your plan was clever - cloning and altering memories, blah blah…" he droned lazily, "but you didn't consider the one flaw in that plan." He tsked with a finger at the space above the door. The clone Doctor began to grin widely, sensing where his other self was leading. Rose perked up at the sight of their confidence setting fire to her own.

"You made a whole bunch of me. Memory alteration and mind-control aside, that was a huuuuge mistake, lady." He sneered delightfully. "And now you've gone and given yourself away." He continued mundanely. Just another day in space, Rose thought with banked humour.

"Our creations are purpose-driven Doctor, they will not cease until this ship is ours. Two of you notwithstanding, we will render you both shipless and stranded. You have grown far too arrogant and reaching in this universe and it is time that comes to a swift end." The woman's words caused a twitch in both Doctor's that Rose recognized as self-doubt. Despite the great and wonderful things the Doctor has done, it has never escaped her notice that he questions himself every day - the things he's done and the guilt he has accumulated over the centuries. After she'd come back from the brink of death and he'd unleashed the weight of his love for her to the light of day, she didn't miss the seconds hesitation where she knew he was debating whether he could handle the retribution of his actions if something were to happen to her.

"Listen here you, there is no way you are getting control of the Tardis." Rose huffed strongly, crossing her arms defiantly - not that the woman could see her.

The original Doctor brought his sonic to the speaker and turned it off quickly before turning to face her and his twin, a look of mission enlightening his previously grave expression.

"Well… at least now we know who's who, huh?" He said smugly winking at his other self.

"Don't forgot you made me — according to the evil voice woman." The clone replied, earning a 'yeah, yeah' in response. Rose shook her head lightly, a small sigh escaping her as she listened to their continued banter.

"So what now?" She asked. "They are trying to take over the Tardis — whoever they are. You got a plan boys?" She looked up at both tall men, settling her hands on her hips. Having two Doctors should equal two great brains, shouldn't it?

"You bet we do." The original Doctor winked at her and then himself. The two proceeded to eye each other oddly after the wink before turning in opposite directions with an abruptness that had Rose's cheeks heating up watching them. She stifled a chuckle in her throat and she called them together so that the plan could be discussed.

After nearly a half hour in conversation, they all knew the plan. They each went off in their separate directions. Rose heading to the console to punch in her password — and the other commands the Doctor had given her to bring them to their next destination.

She looked around suspiciously as she made her way through the door. Finding the room clear she hurried over to the controls. Her fingers traced back the password she had created and moved in a quarter circle to the proper buttons and levers she needed to get the Tardis moving. She hoped the Doctors would be successful in their missions as well. The Tardis groaned and wheezed through its relocation. She checked the map on the screen and realized they were somewhere just outside of Cardiff. Figures, she thought to herself.

A sliding noise ended with a squeak to her back left and she whipped her head around - relief flooding through her as she saw the Doctor clone staring back at her.

"While this is fun, I would have preferred what we were doing earlier." He smirked out of breath coming up in a leap and bound to stand beside her. She smiled with the thrill of action and nodded her agreement, feeling a blush creep up over her cheeks.

"How did it go?" She asked.

"They have been de-atomized." He replied with false sadness that was so obviously for her benefit.

"I hope they didn't feel anything." Rose spoke quietly. She knew it was ridiculous, feeling any sort of attachment to those robots carrying the face and body of the man that she loved. Besides - that face and body had the tendency to change and she should remember that for the future. Who knew what he would look like one day? Hell, that day could be today for all she knew! Still, they were created partly from him and anything related to him set something stirring inside her, no matter how inhuman and flat those drones had appeared.

"No worries, Rose. It took a while to find the proper sequence so that they wouldn't be able to re-atomize anywhere. My de-atomizer is on the fritz, should probably get a new one." He rambled in thought for a minute, distracting himself. "Anyway! Have we landed safely, oh clever, amazing Captain Tyler?"

"Yes we have, Doctor." She replied happily. Her bright demeanour recovering from the news of the destruction of a dozen roboDoctor clones.

"Fantastic… now… just waiting on…" He turned to the sound of a soft shifting of clothes as the other Doctor came into the room looking a little rumpled.

"Me?" He finished for his twin, raising an eyebrow.

"Right! All accounted for. Now for the big finale!" He said throwing his hands up in the air while the clone draped an arm over her shoulders, smiling excitedly down at her.

The three skipped towards the doors and opened them up ceremoniously, stepping into the cavern of space of the warehouse Rose had traced the voice to.

A circle of workstations and endless strings of wires in every colour imaginable littered the floor, stretching across towards the edges of the rusty corrugated metal walls.

Standing to great them was a very tall, husky type of woman wearing a purple skirt suit that didn't match her voice and certainly not her masculine appearance. She had short cropped spiky blonde hair - the kind that didn't budge even under torrential winds.

"So you've brought my present directly to me have you?" She smiled arrogantly at the two men, saving a brief belittling glance towards Rose who snorted in response. Bitch.

"Oh, you'd like that wouldn't you?" The clone Doctor walked forwards, the picture of ease in his gait. The original Doctor had his own swagger as he too moved forwards leaving Rose grinning at both idiots.

"Well, how about something more fun for me?" The Doctor asked and purposely raised his arm, hand in a light fist, finger and thumb coming together as he cocked his head and wiggled his brows, "ready for a trick?" He snapped his fingers and all the equipment in the room disappeared, along with everyone of the workers expect for the husky woman covered in the colour of grapes.

"What did you do?!" She shrieked, startled and gawking back at the empty room and then back to the three in front of her.

"Well, you gave the clones the knowledge to break into the Tardis but knew you had to also download knowledge of your own evil interworkings and operation for their continued success. I hacked into your coding and found your formulas, your plans, your secret base," he waved his brows at her, "Took some time of course to set up a little bippity-bobbity-boo for your little team and wires over there, and then ta-da!" He concluded with flare, bowing to his twin and then very gentlemanly towards Rose before standing straight and facing off to his purple opponent.

"I swear this won't be the last you've seen of me Doctor. You and I both know that your power exceeds what it should." She growled at him, both Doctors flinch from the accusations and she pounces that wavering hardline. "Oh yes… you know exactly what I mean. You feel it to, don't you?" She barked a deep laugh and her monotonous tone curved with renewed pleasure. "It does not matter, anyhow. You've caused a minor hiccup in our operation. We represent interested parties that seek to revoke you of your power. We'll find a way." Her words concluded with marked assurance. The Doctors didn't sway from her words and Rose was proud of them.

"Take your best shot." The Doctor sneered hatefully before finally deciding that it was done. They'd dismantled the operation, the workers relocated to a cop station where Rose had been assured that they were confessing unwittingly to crimes they'd partaken in, including the research that caused the deaths in the cinema. All computers, databases, and whatever else the Doctor had managed to track down was destroyed save for the work he deemed important enough to retain on ship for his own musing.

The purple-clad woman yelled threats as they retreated, none of them turned to give weight to the idle words indicating future demise sent their way.

As they settled back into the Tardis traveling away from Cardiff and into the drift of time and space, the relaxed quiet gradually waned and the space filled with uncertainty and tension.

Rose looked between the two men lounging against the console. The unspoken question hovered in the air like a glaring banner that none of them wanted to acknowledge. After several strained moments, Rose huffed and unleashed her thoughts.

"So… what're we gonna do now?" She asked bluntly, gesturing in a triangle between the three of them.

"Two for one special?" The clone Doctor suggested with a wink and poked his twin. It brought a smile to Rose's full lips but it didn't ease the tension.

"Rose… whatever you want. Truly." The Doctor said softly with full understanding.

She thought on it but really there was only one option. Because, for her, there was only one man for her. There just happened to be two of them. She considered herself beyond lucky.

She slid off the jump seat and walked nervously towards them, overly conscious of her movements; she felt off-kilter and slow as she approached her two men.

Once in reach, she placed a palm over their hearts feeling four pumping organs altogether, thumping against her palms. She tugged their shirts lightly indicating they move closer together and they did - slipping the other a quick unsure glance.

"I want both of you." She finally replied, letting a sassy grin light up her face. Her cheeks straining as happiness erupted inside her.

They reached for her equally eager, two opposite hands caressed her back and the other two hands of her men went to each other, much to her surprise. She blinked as the pulled together with her inside the frame of their taller bodies.

She smiled up at them, running a palm up both their chests. "I love you Doctor." She breathed in relief, the adrenaline fizzing out of her system leaving her knackered but content. Their new reality, an unlikely trio, warmed her despite the strangeness of their movements that suddenly had to be calculated to consider one more body than normal. Hands reached out for warmth and Rose found herself sandwiched between two-twin beating hearts and the thundering of them against her back and chest made her weak in the knees.

"Can we finally do it?!" Rose mumbled tiredly, entranced with the sight of them touching her arms, waist, and wherever else they could get to.

They both sniggered and the breath of one Doctor ghosted across her ear sending shivers trickling down her spine where fingers trailed after it.

"You sure you want both of us?" The second Doctor asked, his voice rough with hesitation and bated arousal.

"Yesssss!" She breathed on an elated sigh. "Oh god, yes!" She emphasized and reached back to lace her hands around the first Doctors neck and looking up at the second Doctor in front of her.

Patience snapped like a gasp of air and the second Doctor captured her face and crashed against her mouth in a firm press of lips. A kiss like a promise - solid and sure.

It was the Doctor at her back that groaned first and she responded with a broken moan of her own, arching into their touch.

They were clumsy as they shuffled slowly out of the main room to head to the Doctor's bedroom. Rose wondered during their meandering journey down the hall if the two men would share a room. Then she wondered if they would all share a room and the thought of waking up naked with a Doctor on either side of her had her leaping up into the closest Doctor to her at the time, her legs guided around his waist by hands that came from the Doctor's twin. Her head fell back onto a waiting shoulder, kisses were placed on the open slant of her neck, her head moved off to the side giving him all the access he could want.

"Oh… Rose," the Doctor said in reverence, leaning forward to kiss her collarbone. "We love you soooo, soooo much." The twin at her back said into her ear she opened the eyes she hadn't realized had closed and found herself looking at the casual design of the Doctor's bedroom.

They tumbled onto the bed in a playful heap, each of them laughing heartily as they tangled into each other and Rose didn't care that it was weird. She didn't worry that her mother would fly off the handle at the thought of her with two men. She didn't give a thought to what people would think of her strutting around London holding hands with identical men, one on each side of her. Instead she breathed their scent - like clean air after rain. Her senses overloaded and she knew nothing would ever be as good as this.

A/N: The next chapter will be the last and they will finally do it... and umm all three of them. Don't know how I managed to get myself into this. lol I've never written a three-person sex-scene before so... I hope it doesn't suck and isn't too porn-y.
