Chapter 7

To be surprised is an understatement at least for Minato. When they got the message that the hokage wanted to see them, he hadn't thought something like this would be revealed. Sure he had thought it had been suspicious when Sakura had appeared from now where. But at least he finally understand it. Sakura had simply followed her orders and he could tell, having this burden hidden from him and their students had been a heavy one.

Finally she had been revealed from the burden but not in the way she had feared of course.

When they had recovered from seeing the memories, his students had directly started throw questions to Sakura about the events they saw. Why where Kakashi and Obito fighting? How did the war started. Sakura tried to handle each question but Minato and Sarutobi saw she were getting distressed and stressed without their noticing, his student had corned Sakura in a corner and Sakura were about to throw a fit when Sarutobi and Minato stepped in and ordered the children to stop asking questions, Sakura were in too deep stress and didn't need them pestering her.

Sarutobi asked them to take Sakura back to her apartment, he gave them a description so they could take her home. Sakura was no doubt in shock. After telling all he knew about the events Sakura needed to change he let them go.

For once the whole team were quiet. Minato had an arm wrapped around her shoulders to keep her steady. Kakashi, Rin and Obito where walking in front all three glancing backwards at Sakura, clearly worried about Sakura. She had not said a word since they left the hokage. Minato was worried as well but he did his best to hide it.

"Will she be all right sensei?" Rin asked worry in her voice.

Minato smiled a small smile "well, we HAVE to make sure she'll be all right"

Rin nodded and turned her head back forward. Sakura didn't seem to hear them.

Madara got his hands on another Uchiha. Which means the events probably will happen. And I thought I was doing some process but it seems in vain.

Sakura looked briefly up and saw they arrived to the apartment.

I see, sandaime must have told them how to get here

"Sakura, we need the keys" Minato said softly which brought her up from her daze.

"Of course…" Sakura toke up the keys from her pocket and gave Minato them who gave them to Kakashi who unlocked the door and they walked in.

Obito lighten up the room, and the three students walked to the kitchen apparently mutetly decided to do something good.

Minato lead Sakura to the coach.

"Sakura? Please say something"

Sakura looked up and saw Minato's blue concerned eyes.

"I'm fine" she got out but Minato shake his head

"No, you're not. Apparently the news sandaime told us were shocking. Is that man Madara Uchiha?"

"yes, originally you lost Obito under the rocks but Madara saved him and healed him however because when Obito found out Kakashi and Rin were in trouble, he tried to get to them but he arrived just when Rin were killed by Kakashi, the reason why, is that Rin were kidnapped by shinobi of the mist and they forced her to become the host of the sanbi. They planned to let Kakashi to rescue her and release the sanbi in Konoha bringing total destruction."

Minato nodded and didn't want interrupt her, he finally got her to tell him the burden she have been giving to bear.

"Don't worry about it Sakura just let it go. We fix this together. There is no reason for you to do this on your own. We are here for you and always be no matter what"

Sakura looked at Minato, she barely didn't dare to speak up, but Minato raised one of his hands and let it touch the side of her face.

She were conflicted. These feelings she slowly got for Minato were just getting stronger but she couldn't its naruto's father. But He wasn't dating Kushina.

It wasn't until she realised they were getting closer, it wasn't till she felt his breath on her skin, and his soft words she fully realized what's about to happen.

And it did

As soon she felt his lips on hers her eyes closed Sakura didn't move but she didn't push him away. His lips moved slowly against hers tempting her to response and Sakura gave in and hesitating kissing him back.

The kiss ended too quickly for Sakura but said nothing about it. Her eyes fluttered opened and saw Minato watched her waiting for her reaction.

"What was that all about?" she asked in a low voice. Minato shrugged smiling. His hand still at her side of her face, slowly caressed her cheek and jaw line.

"I simple wanted get you in a better mood."

"Ah"

"So? Did it work?"

"Maybe" Sakura smiled a small smile but said nothing more.

"Sensei we have made something to eat for us!" Rin called out from the kitchen.

"It's seems our students have done something to eat to us"

"Then its better we get going now or they might come and get us"

Minato stood up and reached out his hand for her to take.

Sakura take his hand get up and together they walked out to their students who is waiting for them.

Hey people, yes I did update this story finally huh? Can't apologize enough for making you wait so long but I promise I will do my best now to update again. Working on a story another SakuraXMinato some people might have read that story I'm working on right. But I got this urge to update this story as well. Just wanted to put this up.
