LadyMysteri- Thanks for my first review! It makes me so happy! :D I'll do my best to update soon. It depends on my mom(cause I usually sit on my awesome dark green papasan chair-don't know what it is? Google a picture of it- and stare at my computer screen while listening to music-so she wants me to do something other then that :P) Like the updates, I'll do my best to not make Cinderella(or Ever now) into a proper lady. I'll turn the swearing down a lttle bit-but it isn't as bad as the chapter 1, right?

Chapter 7- facts
Oh great, I thought to myself. I had to go up on stage. To be honest, I hate crowds.
"Which dorm is the best?" I asked Alex.
"The Kraken and serpents dorm are good. The dragon dorm is the best thought. Phoenix kind of sucks because it has Sarah and her crew. But one of my friends is in that dorm, so I'll rank it number 4 on the list." I nodded.
"First of all, I want Cinderella Preston to come to the center of the stage."
I gulped and walked up to the stage. She shook my hand. I felt so uncomfortable. Kalyn turned to the crowd.
"What dorm do think that she will be in? Dragon? Raise your hand if you want Cinderella Preston to be in Dragon dorm!"
Some people raised their hand. I could feel my face heating up. Kalyn did that for the rest of the dorms. Krakens had the most votes. So did that mean that I was on the Kraken team/dorm?
"Thanks for the votes, but you know how this thing works. I will roll an eight sided die. Whatever side it lands on, she will be in that dorm. Ten…"
"NINE! EIGHT! SEVEN! SIX! FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE! ROOOOOOLLLLLLL!" screamed everyone.
I watched it fall on it the ground and land on to the…phoenix side. Great. I was a phoenix-the worse dorm at Blackwater Academy.
The audience clapped. I looked at Sarah. She glared at me and I glared right back. Sarah got up and walked over to her mom. "Mother! Does she have to be in my dorm? Look at her! Cinderella is ugly! I don't want her sleeping in the same room as me!" "SARAH! No complaining!" she looked down. "I'm sorry mother."
"You better. Anyways, let's give Cinderella a round of applause!" Some people clapped. I looked at Alex and Eric, and gave them an apologetic look. Then I sat the table with the rest of the Phoenix dorm. I ended up sitting next to some guys.
One of the guys smiled at me. He had black hair and brown eyes-but he had pale skin. "So welcome to Blackwater Academy, Cinderella!" He held his hand out and I shook it. Hard. "Ow! Man, this girl is tough!" Some of friends laughed. "Should we call you Cinderella or should we call you something else?" "Call me Coco." "Coco? No Cindy or Ella?" "Nope! I will slap you guys if you call me Cinderella, Cindy, or Ella. Got it? What is your name?" I asked the dude whose hand I shook. "My name is Kevin."
"Nice to meet you Kevin." I smiled. "So where are you from?" He asked me. "Florida. What about you?" "Finland." "That's cool." I replied. Kevin smiled. "Thanks. Is Florida hot?" "Yeah." There was an awkward silence for a few minutes then I turned to the stage. "NOW WE WILL PROCEED WITH THE CELEBRATION OF THE DORMS!" The dining hall was silent. A huge flat screen TV came down from the ceiling. I let my mouth hang open for a seconds in awe, then closed it.
"FIRST OF ALL, WE WILL EXPLAIN THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE NAMES OF THE DORMS!" A diamond with a kraken, phoenix, dragon, and a snake on it. Appeared on the TV and a voice spoke. "The four dorms of Blackwater Academy." Then the picture changed. There was a picture of a kraken. The voice spoke again.
"A kraken: A mythical sea creature that attacks sailing ships and drags them underwater so it can eat it and its passengers. The Kraken represents water.
Then the slide changed. There was a phoenix. "The Phoenix: Another mythical creature. It flies in the skies and is hot like fire. So the Phoenix represents fire. The slide after that was a dragon. The dragon represented air. The next slide had a snake. It represented ground. Then it clicked in my head. Fire+ Water+ Air+ Earth=4 earth elements.
The 4 symbols also represent the 4 fixed signs that have to do with the sun signs(Aries, Taurus, Leo, Aquarius…). After the{boring} slideshow, we had dinner.
Dinner was good. They served us really good food. "I'll be right back." I whispered to Kevin. "Wait. Where are you going Coco?" "You'll see." I snuck over to Alex's table.
Then I tapped him on the shoulder. He jumped up and looked behind his back. "Did I scare you?" I said. Alex looked me in the eye. "Coco! What are you doing here! Don't you know that you aren't supposed to get up during meals and visit other people?" "No, I'm new. I don't know the rules yet."
He sighed. "Still. What are you doing here?" I rolled my eyes. "I'm talking to you and Eric. Duh." "Coco! It's dangerous!" "No it isn't. She will let me go. This is my first day here. Like I said before, I don't know the rules." "Right. Why don't you go back to those idiots." "Alex! I didn't pick what dorm I was going to be in, okay so get over it!" He crossed his arms. I sighed. "Fine. If your going to act like this then bye."
I started to get up and leave, then he sighed again. "Sorry." I raised an eyebrow. "For what?" I asked him. "For yelling at you. I just hate the phoenix dorm so damn much." There was silence for a few minutes. "But it's better because I have another good friend in it." Alex smiled.
I looked at my table. Kevin was watching us. "I have to go." I stood back up and snuck back over to my table before Alex or Eric could stop me.
I arrived at my table. Kevin was tapping his fingers against the table. " What were you doing with those…jocks?" "They aren't jocks. Alex is my friend and I was just talking to him." "Oh yeah? I don't believe you. You seem to be more than friends."
I laughed, then slapped his cheek. Some people gasped. "We. Are. Just. Friends? Got that? I doesn't believe in romance." He was silent for a few minutes. "I'm leaving." "Sorry Coco!" Kevin held my arm and wouldn't let go, despite my pulling away.
I gave in. "Fine. I'll sit with you." He smiled. "I knew that you would see it my way!" I laughed. "Dream on Kevin."
"Attention everyone! Everyone is dismissed from dinner!" announced Kalyn. I stood up and grabbed my stuff. "So where is the phoenix dorm?" "I'll show you." He grabbed my wrist(ugh.) and led me the girls side of the phoenix dorm. "There it is!" He pointed to it. "Thanks Kevin." "No problem." He winked at me then left.
I opened up the dorm door. The room had bright red walls and a gold floor. Some girls where already there. To be exact, there were 3. I groaned. 2 of the girls were Sarah and Penny.
Anyways, back to explaining the room. There were 20 bunk beds, two queen beds and 6 couches. The color of the bunk bed wood was red. Three glass chandeliers hung from the orange ceiling. A huge flat screen TV was on one of the walls.
There were 9 stain glass windows with light blue curtains. The bunks had red blankets and squishy orange pillows. A big picture of a phoenix hung on the wall.
Now let me tell you about the bathroom. It was enormous-for a bathroom. There were 70 bathroom stalls- some of the walls were orange and some of the toilets were red.
The titles on the bathroom floor were red, orange, yellow, green, and different shades of blue. In addition to the 70 bathroom stalls, there were 100 small shower stalls, and 19 sinks-the reason why it was so big was the fact that we shared it with the Kraken 'team/dorm'.
Our bathroom connected with the bathroom for the snake and the dragon girls. There was a wall with a door that connected the two bathrooms.
"Eww! Look who is here!" exclaimed Penny. "OMG, it's Cinderella." Said Sarah. "Yeah. So what." I spat. "Like I care." I sat down on one of the couches. "Ew! Get your dirty body off of my couch!" shrieked Sarah. "Your couch? Really? This is for everyone. Sure, your mom is the headmaster-but that doesn't mean that you can do whatever the fuck you want to-" My phone vibrated. I took it out of my pocket(thank god that these skirts had a pocket.)
There was a text from Jade.
Jaded: I need 2 talk 2 yew.
I texted her back.
Cocopuffs: Not know. Busy fighting w/ some preps-the headmaster's daughter and friend.
Jaded: Can I help?
Cocopuffs: Sure.
Then I dialed Jade's number, put it on speaker, then put it on one of tables.
"Yes I can! I can do whatever I want to Cinderella and you need to follow my rules!" "HEY HER NAME IS COCO!" screamed Jade. "What was that?" Said Penny. Sarah and Penelope looked around the room ,confused. "Hey Jade, you know that your on speaker, right?"
"YES! BUTTERSCOTCH SAYS HI!" "Oh. Your friend is on speaker." said Penny. "Yep. So it's 2 against 2." "No, It's 2 against 3." I turned around. A girl with orange curls and brown hair was behind me. "WAIT, WHICH SIDE HAS 3, AND WHICH SIDE HAS 2?" asked Jade.
"I'm on the new girl's side and her friend's side. "SCORE!" I rolled my eyes at Jade's comment. "My name is-" "We know what your name is Bella." Sneered Penny. "She doesn't." replied Bella. "Now I do-" A bunch of students(girls) rushed into the bedroom, interrupting our fight.
Sarah glared at us. "This isn't over Coco." "YAY! WE WON!" screamed Jade. "Um, no we didn't it's a tie. I have to go to bed now." "Good night Coco!" I turned my phone off and got my pajamas(and some person was nice enough to bring them upstairs). "So where am I sleeping?" I asked Sarah.
She crossed her arms. "Sadly enough you get to sleep in a bunk bed. You can decide. I have no control over where you sleep." Then she sat on her bed.
I choose one of the beds farthest away from Sarah and Penelope.
20 minutes later, I was sleep in my bed.
I was in a forest, running with someone. "Where are we going?" I asked someone. "You'll see." The person shrugged. I couldn't tell if it was male or female. "But we will get in trouble for skipping-" The person laughed. "No we won't. When did you start caring if you got in trouble or not? What happened to you? Did their bullshit get to your head?"
"I guess so." He shook his head. "I've been at Blackwater for more than 2 years and their bullshit hasn't gotten to head. Despite my family's threats and comments. Here we are…"
The scene changed and now I was at home.
"Something that will haunt me in the future." I looked at the figure . It was my mom. Jamie was next to her. "Okay mommy." Jamie crawled away. "Oh man. What have I done? I must protect…" There was a crash. She ran to another room. I followed her. "Mom?" I said. She didn't answer me or pay any attention. What was wrong with her? I thought to myself.
There was a man with red hair and blue eyes. He looked upset. He was throwing pictures on to the floor and ripping them. One of them was a young picture of a girl. She had braces, glasses, red hair, and brown eyes. It said Elizabeth on it. I looked at it, confused. Was this mother. Nah. I'm in fairy tale land. This is a just a dream.
My mom never red hair and brown eyes!
I woke up and glanced at a clock. It was 4:30 am. Great. An hour and a half until everyone else would wake up. I got my phone out of my bag and texted Jade.
Cocopuffs: Hi.
I waited for her to reply.
Jaded: Ugh. U just woke me up. It's 10:30 and a school night!
I rolled my eyes.
Cocopuffs; Guess what? It's freaking 4:30 in the morning here!
Jaded: Really?
Cocopuffs: Time zones.
Jaded: Oh, rite. 4got about that, What's up?
Cocopuffs: I thought that you had to tell me something.
Jaded: It isn't good. I'll tell you later.
Cocopuffs: Now?
Jaded: I don't want 2 give ya nightmares.
Cocopuffs: Bye.
Jaded: Bye BGF! Night.
I played some games online for about a hour, then went back to sleep.
So yeah. Kind of boring-except for the fight.
