A/N: Hi guys! :D Another chapter for this fic! Sorry for the late update! T'was supposed to be updated last Thursday, but t'was delayed 'til today. Since next week is gonna be our 3rd Preliminary Exams week, I'm going to dedicate myself to drowning in books... err, studying, so that I could get high grades! I'm doing well in school yet I still have social and boy issues. HAHA. XD So yeah, updating this made me happy despite a very crappy day. Thanks for faving, reviewing, and alerting to xDarknessAngelx, aaaa2636, and Sokai101! :D They mean a lot to me and make me very happy! :D I'm glad you guys like this fic! I hope this chapter is alright. It's more of a lazy-mood chapter for the boys, but it's still fun!

Days when Sora and Ven were found awake in the early hours of the weekends were very rare. Those were their days to doze off without worries of Vanitas and his morning wrath. However, Vanitas' late entry to their home the night before made their mother furious and caused her to tell off the eldest of their children about his irresponsibility.
"I always expect you boys to be home at 7:30. You know that your curfew is that time and that only! Waking up at 1 o'clock in the morning to find you sneaking through the window is just wrong, Vanitas! What were you doing outside that late?"
Sora and Roxas cringed. Their mother was berating Vanitas. Downstairs. At the living room. Which was very far from their room. And yet, despite all those, they could hear her voice loud and clear. They wondered if their father was as furious as their mom was, or whether he was tired of their shouting mother. They faced their older brother who looked less worried than they were, but still had the anxiety and concern for Vanitas.
"Ven, aren't you gonna play lawyer and help Vani?" Sora asked. Ven sat up on his bed and looked at the brunet.
"I'd like to, but mom might kill me. And Vani's a big boy… bigger than me… he can handle it."
"He has a point, Sora," Roxas whispered.
"VENTUS! Come down here!"
"That wasn't Vanitas…" Roxas added nervously. He and Sora watched the older blond slowly leave the room with a pale expression.
The younger boys slumped on their respective beds and lazily watched the floating clouds outside their room's window. Sora felt his eyes droop… blink… open… droop…
...
"SORA! WAKE UP!"
The brunet sat up quickly in surprise and wondered if the scolding their mother did to Vanitas was just a dream. The latter was in front of him with glaring golden eyes that never failed to weaken his stance. Ventus pulled Vanitas away from Sora and forced him on the floor.
"Look. Mom grounded you and it's my job to make sure you don't do anything stupid. And yelling at Sora while he's taking a nap is stupid," Ven snapped. The dark-haired boy pushed Ven's head away from him.
"You're such a mama's boy. Geez. Anyway, I'm gonna take a shower and I expect you two-" Vanitas pointed a finger at both Sora and Roxas. "-to practice."
He strutted off with a towel in his hands and locked the door of the bathroom as soon as he entered. Ventus rolled his eyes and hopped onto his bed and took advantage of the time for a nap. Sora, who still felt drowsy, didn't understand Vanitas.
"What are we going to practice?" he asked, yawning afterwards. Roxas looked at him thoughtfully.
"Maybe Guitar Hero. I mean, it is our videogame day," he replied.
"Or maybe we should play Epic Mickey instead. We always beat Vani in Guitar Hero and he always beats us up afterwards," Sora joked. Roxas joined with his laughter as they set up their gaming console and practically vamped up the volume and miraculously didn't bother Ven's nap.
"What song?" Roxas asked.
"Hmm…" The boys looked at each other with mischievous smirks.
"ALL THE SMALL THINGS!"
Ven gave out a disgruntled snore and shuffled to a sideward position before returning to his peaceful slumber. The two cringed and slowly covered Ven's ears with his fuzzy ear mufflers. And with Vanitas gone… they started playing.
All the, small things
True care, truth brings
I'll take, one lift
Your ride, best trip
"That was the wrong button, Roxas!"
"We're fighting against each other here. Shouldn't you be happy instead?"
"What? Oh. LALALALAAAAAAAAA!"
"What was that for?"
"To get you off your groove." Sora childishly grinned at the unsmiling blond. They continued with their multiplayer game and didn't notice Vanitas enter the room.
"Nice guitar, Sora! I can see you're improving!" said Vanitas from behind. Sora turned around to look and saw Vanitas putting on his shorts.
"Thanks, Vani!" he chirped.
"And Ven! I can't believe you're getting the hang of Tom DeLonge's voice!"
Sora and Roxas gawked in confusion while Vanitas wore a plain black shirt. How could Ven sing if he was asleep?
"Now, I think we can start with some drums and…"
They felt an agonizing sensation as Vanitas pushed down their shoulders and clashed their heads together forcefully.
"OWW!"
"MY HEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!"
"You IDIOTS! I meant practice for the BAND! Not videogames!"
"Bu… but… it's videogame day!" Sora whined.
"NO BUTS! Unless you want me to kick yours!"
"At least I finally got a nap," said Ventus from behind. He took off the ear mufflers and smiled. "The videogame was a nice distraction."
