Chapter 7

To the teacher and students of the Xioalin Temple,

I Kimiko Tohomiko have decided to place my associations as a warrior with a person of great standards and ambitions to create a better me. There is no better way to tell you this, but I have partnered up with Chase Young. Please do not frit over this matter to much, as you read on please don't think I've been brain washed or tricked into leaving you for The Prince of darkness. I am not saying I changed sides but I decided I needed a new teacher who knows how to teach my unique strengths as a warrior. I have left the temple for obvious reasons of being treated like an incapacitated girl which you guys have sheltered to much into not changing that.

Riamundo, you say I'm just for show! Well I'll have you know that I had the out most confidences in you and the others. In growing to be a better preson for the world, however you tainted my thoughts with your stubbornness of trying too hard and becoming a destructive force of nature, instead of accepting the finer things in life. It's just wrong for others to be following your harsh beliefs. I for one didn't ask that from you. I also wanted to say that... I forgive you for your remarks but know that you have woke up a dark part of me into leaving you guys.

Omi, I AM JUST SO SICK OF YOU DISAGAREDING WOMEN, are you still so blind from your ego that you can't appreciate my presence no matter what. I know you have the talent, but knock it off with that braggart attitude you have. I do have self worth in the team and you can't always impress those who think you're an ass all the time.

Clay, I always thought you were my rock for support, but I guess I was wrong when you couldn't even speak up for me. I can't complain about you being nice, but you have no view in the team, you struggle with connection in not doing so. You have struggled our friendship and the support you had from me when you needed it.

Master Fung, this situation is hard as it is, but you never entrusted my emotions or how I control the situation on my own. Am I that weak to you? Do you have no confidences in my own individuality to grow? I know you tired your best, but I had enough in holding back and watching everyone pull ahead of me. I want to be better.

Whether I want forgiveness or not isn't the issue right now, but know that I have accepted… M-Master Young's apprenticeship to which he promises me the greater gifts of being better.

Silents filled the room. Leaving three students and an old teacher speechless and horrified, but relieved at the same time in finally hearing Kimiko was alive.

Frowning Riamundo asks, "What are we going to do now?"

Looking at everyone in the room Omi replies, "This has to be as you say a joke" then looking back at his mentor, "Master Fung?"

Grieving a sigh Master Fung says, "We do nothing at the moment" hearing sharp gasps all around the room he adds, "We need to consider what Kimiko is saying"

Yelling Raimundo throws his fist to the table, "What the hell are you talking about! We need to get her back" then softly saying, "We need to save Kimiko" Although Riamundo was worried to death he knew he had a great majority of the fault and was very afraid he drew a friend to the dark side.

In his old wise tone Master Fung patted Ria's shoulder, "She's not asking for help? Chase Young has not demanded ransom for her return" looking down at the letter he says, "Don't think I'm not worried about her as you are, but I would've been more unease if this was in Chase Young's hand writing"

Tipping his hat back Clay adds, "The only demand I see is Kimiko's… and it sounds like she won't return unless we change"

The round-headed boy looks up at his big friend, "But she hasn't expressed that offer in her letter"

Replying Clay answers, "Either way little guy we still need to change for her sake"

Sighing Riamundo shouts, "Look dudes, it's all my fault, I yelled at her and said some things I shouldn't have but she isn't going to be staying there!"

Omi shouts, "What we need to do is declare a Xiaolin match for Kimiko's freedom"

Quickly interrupting his students banters Master Fung says, "No, she already accepted Mr. Chase's offer, there's nothing we can do but wait"

Huffing at the remark Riamundo utters, "Okay Kimiko is gone for now, what are we going to do about Chase Young then, I know he had to do something with this and is planning on doing something evil with her, we should go interrogate him first"

Frowning Omi adds, "I don't think he will let us"

Replying with shouts Riamundo says, "It doesn't matter Omi! He got to the team somehow and twisted our actions to chase Kimiko away"

Sadden Omi lightly says, "You sound like this is all your fault Riamundo but I assure you we are all to blame"

Lowering his hat over his face Clay adds, "Omi's right Raimundo, Kimiko just made it clear in her letter, we're all to blame"

Looking away Riamundo asks, "Can we at least attempt to make contact with her or with Chase Young"

Lightly speaking Master Fung adds, "Not at the moment, but know that this event is to get us very demented before Chase makes his moves, so we need to stay calm and reasonable" Everyone looked at each other with unease and frustration, how could they have caused this.

Quickly replying Master Fung says, "Chase isn't the type to be so simple, in time we well understand what he's planning to do with Kimiko" finally leaving to meditate for answers he orders everyone to try and rest for now.

Quickly grabbing his robe Omi asks, "But master… what if we are too late?"

Such hard questions but he gave a sad smile, "Our Kimiko is too refined to be bringing the world to a end" taking a sigh he adds, "Plus, I will do as she asks… to trust her decisions and judgments"
